Look up moltan salt reactors. If the reaction gets out of control, the atoms get to far apart from heat and the reaction automatically slows down as well as a surplus of other safety measures that make it impossible to melt down

Also, only up too 1000 have died from all nuclear accidents combined caused by human error and not listening to the experts on how to do things. 1 large coal plant kills an estimated 80 every day

Also, the containment dome makes it so that even if there were a meltdown it would never harm the outside.

Utopicican wrote:Ok. I’ll do that for now on. Althrough would it be ok if I released it in RMB when it’s over under a spoiler? I think it would be good for those who didn’t know about it to see and see different viewpoints. It’s actually educational

Check with the Mods, they have authority to suppress your stuff, so its best to check with them. But these long things need to be done OOC (Out Of Character, because you asked earlier), and it keeps the RMB from being spammed.

Also Mods, if I double posted, sorry my heads pounding so I am not seeing straight or thinking straight for that matter.

Quote 1 & 2: It seems pretty neat, while I can't find an official number it seems like they're not in widespread usage.
Quote 3: I wasn't making a case for coal power, I know its bad, what I was saying was that most nucealr power plants have the potential to kill many people while most renewable sources realistically don't.

I know, it’s just that many people are not that worryed about coal but freak out about nuclear and think it’s dangerous when really, it may be safer than any other energy. Did you know a few people fall off roofs every year and die installing solar panels or maintaining wind turbines? Or how as solar panels decay it leaks arsenic which when carried by rain, goes into the water supply? Or how solar and wind farms destroy far more land than nuclear does?

Finally.
Someone with brains.
Nuclear energy is far, FAR superior to renewable energy sources.

Can we have a reason?

Daymonskinner

Newphoria Sure. It’s because of the negativity of this discussion and unnecessary flaming. Either you’re going to drop it or we suppress.

In addition to this crackdown, Utopicican, you are formally banned from The North Pacific for repeatedly speaking back to the GA, double-triple posting, ignoring our many, MANY, warnings, and flaming. If you wish to appeal in the future (and by the future I mean a few months in the future), then telegram Territorio di Nessuno.

Gloating over Utop’s ban will NOT be tolerated.

I don't mean to talk back or offend, but it was just one guy saying another person had brains, I didn't take offense to it, no one else said they did. Again, I mean no disrespect but it is my opinion that you are jumping the gun.
