There was a house in the snowy and icy area of Nuuk. The snow stopped falling and the sun was in the sky. The house was huge. It was about 15 acres all around including a 5-acre yard. The Layadh looked up at the large-three-story house and looked at Isaac. The young Future Layadh took a deep breath and put his worship clothes on.

“You okay, young man?” The elder asked him. Isaac was on his toes practically bouncing at this exact point. “Yes, sir,” he said. He only stared at the house as he reflected on his life.

The Isobanians gassed his hometown. Everything in the city was dead. Buildings like the bookstore, the house of worship, the fountain, the city buildings. Everything was destroyed and in a heap of ruin. He was tasked with leading a caravan to a better life in Kanginiarfik.

He beat all of the odds and actually made it. Then, he found out that his home country was taken over by the Creole Union and is being rebuilt and he has become the youngest Layadh in the history of Zyfaqir. He took a deep breath and opened the door.

The wealthy parents welcomed them both inside, but gave snake eyes to Isaac. When the Layadh and the younger Layadh took a seat, the girl from the market looked over. She spotted him and she blushed. Her light skin was making it even more transparent how she was feeling.

The parents started talking to the elder until they looked over at Isaac. “Who are you kid?” They asked. Isaac looked at them dead in the eyes. “I’m a Layadh, sir. I will be the leader at the place in downtown,” he said. They both laughed. “You can be whatever you want to be when you grow up. Now go outside. This is a real religious talk,” they said. Isaac balled up his fists, but kept his cool and left the room. He made his way outside and sat on the steps.
