Welcome to the Grand Final of the 46th Edition of The North Pacific Vision Song Contest!

24 nations have earned their place in the grand final beside last edition's winner, Skaraborg. Now the question remains, who will triumph and be crowned victor of the 46th edition of TNPV?

The final will take place at the same weekend as the Eurovision final which is a first in TNPV history. The delay comes with its benefits because now you have two song contests to look forward to during the same weekend! Anyway, do not forget to vote and I wish you all the best of luck! Music speaks!

How Do You Vote?

Start off by listening to all 25 songs found in the participant list for the Grand Final down below! The North Pacific Vision Song Contest uses the same points system as Eurovision. It means you rank your top 10 favourite songs and give them 12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 and 1 points each. You must also add 5 reserve nations to your list. The reserve nations come in play if a nation you voted for gets disqualified (for example for not voting). You send in your votes to The Democratic Kingdom Of Skaraborg via telegram using the voting template found further down below. If you have followed the voting template and read the voting rules (also found further down below), you have most likely voted correctly. Failure to vote leads to disqualification. You have until the 9th of May to vote!

I'm so grateful to those wonderful nations that voted for my song entry, enabling it to qualify for the Final. :D

I sincerely hope that those nations that did, have also qualified for the final.

As you may well be aware there is a story behind why I entered that particular song..........

As usual, I totally ignored what great songs that were entered in the competition.
I have submitted a song that I love and is meaningful to me. :D

Picture the scene...........
It's 2006 - I'm on detachment working on helicopters - I manage to fall off one! Lol
My injuries make me unable to fly back for the weekend [unfit for travel] and I have to remain in the hotel alone without my friends.
I was spoilt though, all bills paid for, I managed to get to a restaurant and sat down to a lovely steak dinner and a half carafe of red wine.
A young lady had arrived at the restaurant and sat playing the grand piano.
Then she played this song, no singing, just the instrumental.
I knew this melody..........

Here I was, hundreds of miles away from my family, no friends to pass the time with, I never felt so alone before.
There were tears in my eyes and needless to say my half carafe led to another half. Lol
I needed a few double expresso's to sober up.
The combination of the alcohol and painkillers ensured a good nights rest.
But the music and loneliness from that night left an enduring memory.............

In Gridlandia the oldest ever book that is still readable to this day is 'The Stone City's, which was a book written by a Chinese traveller who was traveling through the country.He was left mesmorized by the stunning landscapes,castles,valleys and rivers, so he decided to turn everything he had seen into a readable book which is still sold to this day
