Hello there fellow pacificans

Neuer Deutsches Reich, Alantic empire, and Nacoa dya

Pretty flowers do you ever bloom but to?
Where is the uncle buzz who woes you?
Are you very long, silver sheers?
Is there a length that can guillotine good?

Perfume, without question: divine.
The budded breast of the lovers' mark,
the blush upon pedals so bold.
Yet none so humble as Marygold.

When the violet quoth but to be a rose
the small bloom of earthen gold withstood.
The sun, the wrath of the sky, a shoe;
she grew through her daughters below.

Alive. Born in The Pacific?
But below a row of flowing palm,
in the shadows of the arboreal fold
behold the growth that is Marygold.

Did you expect blood and violence?
Grotesque conjectures, insinuations, news?
Watch as I murder this beautiful bud.
*The slicing sheer cuts the stem*

And wear it as a trophy under-boob.
Shrunken heads, lapel pins: schwag.
A symbol now for our people to hold:
the womb that is Marygold

Introducing... the Schwarze International Scandal, Ch. 1.

Central Authority Main Assembly, August 5, 2020 CE
It was on every news channel, in every nation, in every topic. Two hours ago, an unnamed whistleblower submitted a report to a social media channel that revealed the biggest scandal in the world's history. Schwarze International had been blackmailing governments into banning WMDs. At first the pretense of opposing the use of WMDs would sound noble for a conglomerate, but any former employee that worked at Schwarze would tell you it was anything but. Schwarze International, under it's shiny pristine surface of providing quality products, vehicles, and military grade weaponry, there was illegal trade, abuse of corporate rights, forced labor of certain ethnic groups -- notably faunus, funding terrorist organizations, illegal human experimentation, and obviously, blackmail.

And it reached to the highest links in the chain of command.

Federal Sovereign Andris Fennik read through the report on the hologram, his hands clenched to the point he bled from his palms. His wife Ritsuko, who was thankfully not going through a mood swing from her pregnancy, stood nearby, genuinely worried at what had been bringing out so much fury that she was sure alternate universe counterparts would feel chills up their spines.

Ritsuko: "... Andris?"

He didn't respond. All he could hear was the fury of people, of himself, of High Command, of Onyx employees that lost their jobs. He had reached a breaking point. He finally unclenched his hands and Ritsuko immediately started cleaning his hands of blood while he gave a voice command to make a private call once his wife left.

Several Hours Later...
Onyx Corporation HQ, Rooftop

It was nighttime. Fennik sat on a bench at the top of a skyscraper, staring at the two geothermal towers stretching into the sky beyond the mountains. As he waited for his contact, he looked down at an old badge. One from a decade before, when he made the decision of his life. He didn't get to finish reminiscing as the door opened and his contact appeared.

???: "It's been a while, ENDWAR."

Fennik: "LONGBOW."

LONGBOW: "That crazy geezer still hitting targets drunk?"

Fennik: "Black Feather? Yeah..."

LONGBOW leaned on a nearby wall, his specially coated armor creating a shadowy silhouette that reflected no light.

LONGBOW: "Been half a year since the war ended... I miss being able to use the big girl here."

He pulled out his signature sniper, a Boris & Karlson produced .70 caliber Chem-Rail hybrid anti-material rifle that could punch through the toughest of infantry armor. It was aptly nicknamed the Big Nasty Kicker, as early snipers have had their shoulders dislocated from the "kick" when they fired the rifle, and have since required an exoskeleton to go with it. It also sent it's unfortunate victims flying when struck by the round.

Fennik: "Guess we all miss it. War is part of our existence after all. But now that I'm the Federal Sovereign, I can't do much direct action anymore."

LONGBOW: "So you called me here. Well, looks like things are looking up for us if we take the advantage we have now. Mainly, shut them down before they start Phase 2."

Fennik: "They already started Phase 2, LONGBOW."

LONGBOW: "... I'll rephrase. Before they finish Phase 2."

Fennik: "I'd go, but as I said, it's best I stay behind and manage the nation. I really do wish I could put on the old badge and go out to battle once more."

He reminisced in the days where he fought against squads, against battalions, against armies. Learning, adopting, and surpassing his enemies in everything they did. When he earned his nickname passed down from the top, from PARAGON himself. When he rose through the ranks and made his brothers-in-arms proud and even impressed his enemies.

LONGBOW: "Well, then, it's a good thing I was able to pull some strings with Supreme Commander Claudemburg III."

Fennik at first wondered. Then he started connecting the dots. Then he smiled with glee in a way he hadn't in years.

Fennik: "LONGBOW, you magnificent mother-trucker."

LONGBOW: "Hey, I actually did work in the trucking industry."

Fennik: "Yeah, yeah, where to?"

LONGBOW: "Old Shenzong in former China. I can't wait for the squad to get back together."

It was a time of great fury throughout the world, a time that even affected the stoic Fennik. But he was also about to return to a time of great excitement. Doing what he did best: waging war on the front lines. This time, against the megacorporation that dared to do wrong by his nation.

Very mysterious. I like it. The fact that you can think up a story for an accidental change in policy is the height of RP.

Neat. I like the more realistic versions of the characters that we see in this one.

that one is weak though.

Jar Wattinree, did you see my RP post?

Really? That's good to know.

Kathol Rift wrote:Neat. I like the more realistic versions of the characters that we see in this one.

Indeed. I keep the tales realistic, and save the joking around for Ritsuko vs. Everyone situations, memes, and lighthearted conversations in general. The only fantasy elements you'd see are the Ace Combat-esque implements when I write seriously.

Very good. It was well done.

Overdosed crackheads is ranked 13,827th in the world and 328th in the Pacific for Most Advanced Defense Forces, scoring 7,435.13 on the Total War Preparedness Rating.

LONGBOW: Word of advice for Rang. If Fennik's angry enough to make himself bleed, something's wrong, so take caution. If he's angry enough that Ritsuko is worried... something's definitely wrong, find a way to calm him down, stat.

Rang is literally in a jail cell right now. I had him talking for the fourth wall breaking earlier, but he is jailed right now.

Shouldn't be a problem for Riddle Squad to pass it down.

*fingersnaps and points at The Pacific Ring*
That post was really neat.

*does the same at The Municipalities of Antarctica*
I need a name for a place close to Hii

Riddle is still finding him. After that, they still need to infiltrate and somehow get him to be able to talk to Kayla. I think calming down Fennik isn’t the highest on their list of priorities.

LONGBOW: Eh, I should be able to handle ENDWAR for a few hours... if not, I'll have to find PARAGON to knock him unconscious.

Riddle 2: “You guys use nicknames? How very cinematic.”
Riddle Captain: “No need to insult the cosplayers, 2. I’m sure they have plenty of fun playing super spy with their made-up names.”
