Mad Jack Is Rejected wrote:anyway, are we looking forward to the weekend?

Mad Jack Is Rejected wrote:anyway, are we looking forward to the weekend?

yes because i will consume cyptopir

Mhaul wrote:i'll also say, when was the last time y'all looked at a nice vase and appreciated all of the craftmanship and artistry that went into it? it may have happened a couple of times idk, but i can say that i've never done it.

Maybe not a vase as an example, but I have began to appreciate architecture more. I know, not exactly the same thing but still a human creation. Which is why I’ve been complaining about the tower blocks that don’t look nice.

Mhaul wrote:it doesn't cost money to go to work normally either lol. you still get money because of "what you were producing", productivity.

Yes. What? I thought we mentioned earlier that artist material costs money, no? I was referring to that. And I don’t work anything anyway. Art is not even really a hobby, I do it so occasionally, and I don’t want to do it as a job.

Liberza wrote:yes because i will consume cyptopir

this is too kinky for my blood

Mhaul wrote:again, y'all are the doomers, i'm not. i legitimately want change, you guys are fine with what we currently have.

I thought that’s what you were saying? By which I refer to the post that you quoted.

Cyptopir wrote:yes because i will consume an entire jar of full size pickles because i can

are you Varanius

No. I cannot be bothered with this anymore.

Liberza wrote:yes because i will consume cyptopir

are you Angevin-Romanov Crimea

Mad Jack Is Rejected wrote:anyway, are we looking forward to the weekend?

Yes. Only a two day week for me. Well I had exams on one day but they weren’t much.

Land of bird wrote:I thought that’s what you were saying?

no, not at all. i believe things can change for the better.
i don't know what about "capitalism is bad so let's do something better" sounds even remotely like "there's no better alternative, we're screwed, there's nothing we can do"

yeah I'm the one who thinks things can't improve, Giang is silly like the rest of you, they still have hope.

You were saying that art is dead. Sounds pretty “it’s over” to me. And the thing is, companies and businesses will just do the cheaper option. That’s why there are factories in LDCs, because there is a lower minimum wage there so therefore a higher overall profit. It’s the exact same reason for using ai. You don’t have to pay anyone to make anything, because the ai makes it for nothing so you get a higher profit. Though I probably just missed it, I did not see your alternative.

New Flag Alert! And A Message From Horrorlandian State's Ministry Of Culture:

Horrorlandian State Wishes All Catholics And Christians A Very Humble And Reflective Feast Day Of Saint Sabas, 2024.

Sabas (439–532), in Church parlance Saint Sabas or Sabbas the Sanctified (Greek: Σάββας ὁ Ἡγιασμένος), was a Cappadocian Greek monk, priest, grazer, and saint who was born in Cappadocia and lived mainly in Palaestina Prima. He was the founder of several convents, most notably the one known as Mar Saba, in Palestine. The saint's name is derived from Imperial Aramaic: סַבָּא Sabbāʾ "old man".

Saint Sabas is The Patron Saint of monastic life.

To commemorate this day, we have changed our flag. We are also sending olive trees as symbols of peace to all nations on NationStates.

🙏 🕊A Prayer For The Feast Day Of Saint Sabas 🙏 🕊:

🙏 🕊Jesus, Almighty King of kings, You Who obeyed your Father to the end, teach us, like Saint Sabas, the virtue of obedience. Our soul burns to comply to your Will, striving to charm your Divinity. While our worldly nature seeks one way, our spiritual nature seeks another.

Realizing the role that the Lord had in store for him, Saint Sabas gave all that he had to those in his charge, leading many future saints to the Lord. Today, on the feast of Saint Sabas, we pray to emulate both his obedience and faith.

Bless us with the strength to obey, that our soul may subdue both natures, blending them as a fair aromatic bloom. We always seek favour in your eyes, to always obey you until our last breath. Amen. 🙏 🕊

Yes, thank you. So much for me saying this wasn’t anything. Though really, it wasn’t.

What a stupid discussion that was. Good morning.

A few days ago someone I knew told me I smell like a hamster out of nowhere
There's so many layers to what they said
Did they smell me to figure that out?? How do they know what a hamster smells like?? Do they smell hamsters?? Is it an insult??
They didn't say it was bad either, they said it was like in the middle
What did she mean by this???

Three Galaxies wrote:What a stupid discussion that was. Good morning.

Yes, quite. I’m good at wasting my time. I should really be on NS less. It’s not fun.

Is music art?

Inferior wrote:Is music art?

In my opinion, the greatest art.

Inferior wrote:Is music art?

it should be.

Three Galaxies wrote:In my opinion, the greatest art.

i'm curious as to why it's the greatest. i don't necessarily disagree, i just want to hear your opinion.

Mhaul wrote:it should be.

Its at least comforting that no AI music can beat a live performance of the piece.
