Or just cola if it's truly unbranded.

Land of bird wrote:Fizzy drink in general, but usually just call it whatever it actually is.

"Fizzy drink" sounds like something a 3 year old would call it if they forgot what the general category of drinks was called, and I come from a country where sodas are practically called "carbonated drinks", all right maybe I don't have room to talk :(, but hey at least it's honest and it's more descriptive than "fizzy drink" .

läskeblask is without comparison the best term for soda.

It's a lot less formal than carbonated drink.

Salty.

But hey at least some people call it "seltzer" like as if sodas are some sort of disinfectant, apparently some even call them them "sugary drinks", which makes the category more broad, "lolly water" (probably Australians), or "fizzy juice" as if all sodas are carbonated juices, like what juices could could say, Coca-Cola and/or Pepsi be comparable to? (To me I've drank both so many times that they taste practically the same)

Godwin's law is that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1." It's bogus to bring up here since the nazis are completely unrelated to that communism argument.

the fact people talk about how everyone has experienced ego death at some point only makes me feel like it doesn't exist and that it's just placebo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ofc not the point of Godwin's law is that it becomes more likely

Merpopilis wrote:And....there it is

That doesn't count, since it's obviously satire about the so-called law.

i don't like godwin's law because it is literal national socialism.

I don't see it, therefore it doesn't exist is always a good argument.

Never heard the term ego death before today, but I did experience it two years ago.
