Hurricane Benjamin
Hurricane Benjamin continues to bare down upon Grand Bahama and the Abacos. Major flooding has occurred because of this storm, including large areas of Eastport facing flooding up to 2 feet high. And although a large risk has been taken, the Grand Abaco Transit Authority has allowed subway stations to continue to operate, with a few routes closed down due to "antiquate infrastructure" to prevent minor flooding. At Point Dalluha, flooding got so bad, that it carried several parked vehicles out to sea, from a parking lot, including a 48 foot long trailer. Storm surge and the heavy rain are also projected to cause major damages to rock faces and could create dangerous landslides. Due to this, several parts of Inter-County Route 2 have been shut down in fear of an incident happening with motorists on the roads. In Marie's Marina, 55 mph gusts are being observed, with 35 mph sustained winds in the Grand Cay and North Abaco. In addition, one tornadic event has taken place. An EF-0 waterspout formed at 12 pm local time, causing no damage but could signal things to become worse. Benjamin is expected to make a pass 58 miles north of Marie's Marina, by 7 am local time tomorrow and will be about 120 miles away from Grand Abaco by day's end. The storm clouds are expected to follow a little later with thunderstorms lasting until this weekend and clear skies Sunday.
An Truly Independent Levant
Earlier tonight, President-elect Jimenez spoke in front of a crowd, at the State and County House of Levant. The crowd numbered around 25,000 with an estimated 15 million more watching from their homes in Grand Abaco and in 
Free Levant. As Grand Abaco has already lowered its flag in preparation for this ceremony, a few days prior, as an honorary custom carried over from Saint Hal, to newly independent nations. After a suspenseful 25 minutes of President-elect Jimenez and Governor Hayez reading out the newly passed bill, and the naming of honorary citizens of Grand Abaco and Levant that made this ordeal happen, the Grand Abacoan National Anthem began to play. Soon cheering would echo throughout the audience as the song hit the middle point and began to whine down. Soon the last beat of the drum was heard, and a new song began to play. It was Song of the Free, which was written for the Olands independence from Saint Hal but the song has been used throughout the Eusian, as Saint Hal released it's territories. Quickly the audience recognized the song and made a deafening roar that was "heard across the entirety of Downtown Amman" and the Levantian fag was raised 50 feet into the air. Soon, spotlights would illuminate the newly christened Capital Building and bathe it in light with the Levantian flag already proudly waving in the sky 313 feet above the crowd with Song of the Free abruptly stopping and the pop song Rock the Casbah bursted out of the speakers lining the park with strobe lights emblazoning the night sky with color. Soon, song after song would be played as the party grew larger and larger. But 5 hours later, at 3 am local time, the equipment was taken away, but the Levantian flag remained high above the now officially independent nation.
ARDS Update
As of the last 3 days, no more ARDS cases have sprung up from any health clinics or hospitals in Grand Abaco. Screenings are continuing to happen. Furthermore, an investigation by the GA COGI has started into a possible cover up and has recruited 12 scientific organizations (that were screened, specifically picked for their loyalty and expertise in viral studies). These groups of scientists will recreate the environment that created this outbreak and run various simulations to how the outbreak began.
In 3 weeks, the stay at home order will be removed, and normality will resume in to town.

Recently a new legislative law was passed that'll include 5 Horizon Senators in the Confederal Council of Xurisha. Many speculate that multiple Senators were bribed from unknown donors. Since when the Horizon Senators have been elected, there have been very opposing ideas. Many parliament sessions featured opposing disputes.
"Region-wide Protest"
Violent nationalist uprisings have appeared all around Nurion. Many ethnic Horizons and Xurshians residing in Nurion are facing discrimination. The Nurio government has responded swiftly by suppressing the riots before it becomes a national disaster. 100's have been reported dead since the uprising has begun.
Tinalian Integration of the Southern Tinal region has not been going well. Many residents are calling for a referendum but the Tinalian Government ignores these requests, as Southern Tinal is culturally Important to them. Protests have sparked across the region.
OPERATION DOWNFALL
Swiftly after the incidents in Hansdelta, the DIIO began ramping up operations to find and infiltrate Heleno cells within the Fuscum Island Communes of Project Cabral. 17 key individuals have been identified, the most important of which are: Yohan Ulrich, Gustav Fascha, Mikail Vurunin and Fritz Bascho.
They are the local heads of 4 island communes, which have been harboring 45 suspected terrorists, 96 tons of explosives, 613 handguns and 790 rifles. Heleno operatives of DIIO have rised into these cells, and given us the locations of vital buildings and supply nodes for the insurgents.

SHOWDOWN AT THE GILBAN COMMUNE
27 caches explode in a 35 second sequence, alerting the Heleno proudguard throughout the islands. The next step is neutralization of key individuals, as our operatives gun down isolated figures and wait for the arrival of PPL helicopters and boats for the elimination of more well armed and protected heads
Gilban is the exception.
Our DIIO operatives have identified an underground bunker at Gilban, which Yohan Ulrich never leaves, making his elimination a more difficult one. For this, the DIIO have prepared something special.
FOOF has been weaponized and stabilized through carbonization by the DIIO under Project Boitata, but has never been tested against live individuals. It will now be delivered to Gilban by a phantom drone, similar to the one used in the assassination in Hansdelta. For their safety, all DIIO individuals covertly left the night before.
The FOOF ravages the island in mere seconds, instantly roasting trees, rocks, buildings, and setting fire to the air around it. The small island disappears in a flash of red mist in a single minute, and remains obscured by a vitriolic fire, consuming anything and everything in a 2km radius. The inferno burns for 7 hours straight, and once the mist dissipates, the scene is unreal. Any life in the island has been unquestionably wiped out like a fragile light. An orange ash rests above every single remaining structure, seeping and cracking anything it touches. Everything is unrecognizable, as even the sea that surrounds the island burns fervently, sending a cloud of toxic smoke miles above.
The bunker is identified by aerial reconnaissaince, having been turned to a bright chalk, along with everything around it. Ulrich is dead, and the mission is a resounding success. On the other islands, 98 people have been arrested, with 7 PPL soldiers receiving heavy injuries, and 2 succumbing.
The Prestorosean People's Legion begins reinforcing their holdings in Horiza and readying their allies for a possible response due to the dangerous escalations and instability ongoing south of the state in Nurion of the Confederation of Xurisha.
The People's Republic of Prestorosea affirms that an attack on Horiza would mean immediate intervention by the PPL, and any attempt to harm the state's infrastructure or people shall be met accordingly with overwhelming violence on our parts.
