Our health club has reopened and I was able to swim in the outdoors lap pool before church this morning.
It was sunny and warm with good music playing in the background, and almost no one was there!

#Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for my daughter who is always so thoughtful. :-)

Spending the week with my parents and being all together for my sister's birthday was great. A neighbourhood yard sale was a welcome opportunity to be outside and see the public, no matter how draining!

My BWE is a day late because of the reason it was a great week!
Yesterday, we had some old friends over for a distanced outdoors dinner ... and it was great!
The weather was perfect, the food amazing, and the company was strength for the journey!

#Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for my wonderful parents who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary yesterday!

This was a great week!
Yesterday, I went hiking in a beautiful state park in the morning and played socially-distanced pinochle with the neighbors that evening.
Today, my family was able to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary at a great rooftop cafe!

#Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that my 93-year-old aunt is comfortable and happy.

This morning was great. It was warm and sunny, so I started the day swimming in the club's outdoor pool, then attended Mass and did a little gardening.

I am thankful for my daughter who makes me laugh.

My son and I had a beautiful day for mini golf today, and I started reading St. Teresa of Avila's Interior Castle.
