New legislation passed creating a WA Committee! The Monarch is searching for prospective members of such committee.

On the creation of
a World Assembly Committee,
THE FIRST REGENCY OF THE EMPIRE,
Recognizing the importance the World Assembly decisions have on countries who choose to be a part of it,
Wishing to make it so that the decisions of the World Assembly delegate properly represents the beliefs of the citizens of the region,
Believing that by creating a committee of citizens of the region to discuss proposals from the World Assembly and the Security Council, a consensus can be determined as to how the delegate should vote,
Hoping to increase involvement in interregional politics,

(1) Establishes a regional World Assembly Committee with the following tasks,
- a. Discussing resolutions currently at vote in the World Assembly,
b. Advising the current World Assembly delegate for the region whether they are for or against resolutions currently under vote within the voting period,
c. Imposing penalties if the World Assembly delegate doesn’t vote according to their decision,
d. Taking into account the opinions of those not among the committee via asking in the RMB and looking at the for/against ratio for individual nations in the region
e. Encouraging citizens not already in the World Assembly to join and endorse the current delegate of the region, as well as other nations in the World Assembly.
(2) Authorizes the current acting monarch with these privileges,

a. Determining who should be members of the World Assembly committee and the amount of members this committee is composed of, with Regency approval via a majority vote with a voting period lasting twenty-four hours,
b. Removing members from the committee, with a majority vote in favor from both the Regency and the other committee members with a voting period lasting twenty-four hours,
c. Appointing the World Assembly Citizens Chair to take a leadership position amongst the committee members.
(3) Allows for the World Assembly Citizens Chair to take the initiatives listed,

a. Scheduling and/or moderating debate and voting procedure for the committee members, either via Nationstates or other Regency approved methods of communication,
b. Recommending citizens to the current acting monarch for them be put onto the committee.

Okay I confess. I lied. It wasn't enlightening for one reason... I am deaf. I legally cannot hear without the assistance of hearing aids even at my young age. Today I accidently dropped my hearing aids into the sink while I was brushing my teeth and spit all of my crest teeth whitening tooth paste on-top of them, rendering them incapable of use. I have been going all day trying to read people's lips to get through, my teachers all look at me weird as I turn my whole body to watch them as they lecture the class from the back of the room despite the presentation roaring at the front. I called the video enlightening, pretending to know what it actually said. Enlightening isn't even the proper response to this video and I should have known that before I pretended to understand, I shouldn't have been pretending all day. Thank you for this transcript, I appreciate it greatly, and thank you for this long deserved wake up call.
