A chisiled man begins his day in the imperial palace by doing 100 push-ups, and a very prepared diet. He spends most of his day in three parts reading old tomes, documents, and books about war and strategy, the second part of his day is intense training, and the last and most important part of his day is rigorous drilling and training of the soldiers at this command. He has kept up this odd routine for nearly 9 years. He has 6 scars on his face, coming from spars against military trainers, he has studied commanding secretly in Kasatania and is known to be very precise with a rifle. He is Prince Kong Lesthno the second eldest son of the previous Emporer Kong Housho. His breakneck lifestyle comes from a bit of ambition and duty but mostly it comes from envy. He was not picked to be emporer by The Council Of The People his younger brother Shaka-Ubara.
Wezinese Heredity system is not the traditional eldest son gets everything or a confederate partition, rather it is sort of elective. The current dynasty that hold the document The Charter Of Afrika the successor of the Empire will be chosen by a council. The Council of the People Is a council made up of heredity cultural representatives of the 28 ethnicities of Zhenkwezima. The title of divine lord of all Zhenkwezima, Son Of Heaven, and Emporer will be chosen by the council of the peoples, based on who they believe to be the strongest and best holder of the title, be it brothers of the current emporer, second children, and women, any family member can be chosen by the council as long as they have proof they are of the dynasty that currently holds the Charter of Afrika.
Now Prince Kong Lesthno does not hold any malice toward his brother or hatred towards the council, but this doesn't mean he isn't saddened by his not assuming the emporership. A sadness that would turn into a very fiery determination to serve the empire elsewhere. Mainly the Art Of War, an art so much he studies that some may say he is a maestro of doctrine, a virtuoso in martial arts, and a prodigy of commanding. He awaits(but does not hope for) the coming of bandits, outside hostilities, and civil conflict for it will let him hone his craft.
Pray for our enemies... for they must face the wrath of the dragon.

Introduction to the Cattish Empire.
The sun rises upon the Cattish Capital Catholon on a cool Mediterranean morning along the Cattish Gold Coast. Golden rays of sunshine cast themselves upon the land and its features. On a sunny morning like today, the children of the world are all playing games and having fun. In Catland, these children get up to go to work. Like a hive mind the city awakes at once and begins moving its gears.
Children as young as six begin their morning by having a cup of coffee, doing their daily routine, and leaving alongside both their mother and father for work.
In Catland by law everyone works. The Women, The Children, The Elderly, and even the disabled. Society and the Law is hard on those who seem weak and unwilling. Hundreds of years of Imperial Propaganda has completely changed how society in Imperial Catland functions. In catland there is no retirement or saving money. The system is meticulously designed to oppress the lower classes into poverty while hoarding the wealth to those above it. With this wealth the upper and ruling class live lavish lifestyles, completely oblivious to the plight of the people. But most importantly, this system helps support Catland's overinflated Military it is forced to bear. While the life of the Average Catlander seems dystopian to those abroad, to the people, they know of no other way of life. This is considered normal in Catland. School is a privilege only the wealthiest among society can afford. The price of education is purposefully and collectively raised to extraordinarily high amounts to keep the Cattish masses uneducated. An uneducated populace is an obedient populace. The upper and ruling classes of Catland enjoy the luxuries no one else can afford, luxuries considered Normal possessions across the world.
Work from sunrise to sunset everyday of your life until you die. Everything you do is not for you but rather for the Empire as a whole. If you think, act, or go against this. The law and your neighbors will view it as treason and you and your family will be killed for laziness. The average life span of a Catlander is only 45 years. Those who miraculously live to longer years are not spared of this harsh mentality the general populace has had drilled into their minds. The most common cause of death in Catland is passing away from being Overworked or suffering injury at work. Most children are forced to take the harsh, low-paying, dangerous jobs that nobody desires. 1 in 50 children die everyday at work in Catland, for the adult population it is 1 in 200, for the elderly it is 1 in 20.
This work and die mentality is present across the entire empire in some form, but the extent lessens in the most rural areas of the empire.
Trade makes up a vast bulk of the Cattish economy, with the Empire having exhausted almost all of its natural resources many years ago. The majority of trade is comprised of the Cattish trading agricultural exports in exchange for raw resources, valuables, and metals.
The Cattish are notorious for being very short, with the average Cattish male standing at only 5'0. Three ethnic groups exist within Catland. The Kattish, Kalorians, and the tribal Tenokans. Together, the uneasy union between Kattania and Kalorian create the entity known as Catland.
The Cattish Empire has been ruled by Six Emperors since its creation in 1700. The current Emperor is Domingo-Acosta Var who rose to the throne in 1799 and is currently the oldest and longest ruling Emperor at 95 years old. His incredible age is unusual for a Cattish Emperor as they are notorious for mysteriously dying young. The Cattish Empire has not one but rather two seperate ruling dynastys. Respectivly known as the Var Family of Kattania and the Kahvor Family of Kalorian. The two dynastys take turns ruling over the empire. They switch out in turns of two and when a switch is enabled the respective family taking over will conduct a hearing and discuss for extended lengths of time who to appoint to the throne. Typically, a young male no older then twenty is selected. His next son will then take over the next turn. Despite Catland being a union formed through the marriage of these seperate families, they have not married with one another in over a hundred years out of fears they could be outcompeted by one another.
The Cattish Empire is known for its Hyper-Agressive forign policy and Militarism fueled by paranoia. But Catland is also known for the finer aspects such as the study of Astronomy and the Fossils of the Velosian past. The wealthier of the Cattish enjoy spending their time living care free. While those less fortunate work in a system designed to ensure they stay poor and contribuite only to the well being of the military and the economy required to support it.

Ke Warman - Land of Enlightenment
The Kingdom of Keyraht, surrounded on all sides by the seas, lies at the furthest reaches of the world. It is a fiercely traditional country under the good rule of King Kanewarman VII, Light of the Keyrahti. The King himself lives a devout life as a member of the nation's Hartat, the priestly class of the Tau'am faith. In this faith, it is believed that Tau'am, demigod son of the Keyrahti deity Kane, achieved enlightenment and escaped a vicious cycle of suffering, death, and rebirth into suffering. This is a cycle it is believed even gods suffer under. The extensive genealogy of the Bakan dynasty claims to trace their line all the way back to Tau'am, and thus ultimately to Kane. Being a member of the Hartat, Kanewarman VII has no children, and it is unclear who is to succeed the old man once he passes.
Six years ago, Kanewarman VII ordered the dissolution of the National Assembly which had previously served as an advisory role to the King. This was the only vestige of democracy within the Kingdom. Since the National Assembly's dissolution, the Kingdom of Keyraht has functionally been an absolute monarchy.
That's not to say Kanewarman VII is the only man running the country. His second-hand man is Chief Advisor Te Moruon. Formerly his most vocal loyalist in the National Assembly, Te Moruon mostly assists with logistics and practical matters. Pala Mani, Minister of Defense, ensures the safety of the kingdom from all threats, both internal and external. There is also the governors of the three main islands, who are often generals from the Keyrahti army.
Unlike many past monarchs, he is not carried about on a litter wherever he goes. Rather, he himself walks, accompanied by only the bare minimum of security. Frequently, King Kanewarman VII is known to visit the kingdom's towns and villages where he converses with local people, asking them about how he could improve the country or their livelihood. He carries a pen and some paper with which he uses to jot down notes. It is through these trips the people make their voice heard. When one peasant from the outskirts of Ta Kuong asked Kanewarman VII why he dissolved the National Assembly, the King responded, "This cuts out the middlemen--the delegates."

Children begin filing into their classrooms after a lunch break. Class 4A's next subject is the History of Frankia. The teacher soon walks in, prompting the children to stand up.
CLASS 4A: Good morning Mr. Barnsky!
Mr. Barnsky: Good morning class, you may sit down now. Open your history textbooks to page 2. I won't be reading from it however it will contain the material that will be used in our next test.
The class takes out their textbook while Mr. Barnsky checks over his notes briefly.
Mr. Barnsky: Alright, let's start with a brief overview. Frankia first became inhabited around 12 or 15 thousand years ago, with primitive human artifacts found scattered around the Southern Archipelago. Agriculture came to Frankia around the same time as it did to the rest of the world, beginning the first civilizations mainly situated along our southern coast. The first written artifacts consist of what we believe are old inventory statistics belonging to the first major country founded in Frankia by the name of "Gondalsh", meaning Land of Islands in Proto-Frankian. Gondalsh was ruled by an elective monarchy, with local Frankian nobility electing one of their own for a life term as "Knaz", an ancient term for King.
Student: Mr. Barnsky, when was Brest founded?
Mr. Barnsky: Well, Brest is an ancient city, though we aren't completely sure when it was founded, we know it was founded around 4 or 3 thousand years ago. It was founded by refugees from a successor state of Gondalsh named Hilsk. When Hilsk was conquered by Gagash warlords, most of it's residents escaped into the Archipelago, creating Brest as a fortress town near a collection of several other smaller fishing villages. Soon Brest became a major city, expanding beyond its old walls and soon establishing a Duchy, the Grand Duchy of Brest. The Grand Duchy soon started conquering the local fishing villages it once protected.
Grand Duke Wlazim, also known as Wlazim the Conquerer, took power at the age of 20, 900 years ago. After only 10 years he either conquered or unified with all the other major duchies and kingdoms, forming the Kingdom of Frankia. 900 years later, we are still standing, bigger than ever.

...And yet, there is more to our region. A prime example is the Guanaranha Rainforest, largest of it's kind and hopelessly silty. The ground here, is too soft to get even basic stone from. Many natives from Guanaranha, like local Jena, have heirlooms from generations ago. Her family's held a stone axe from the Amalua Range northwest for 33 generations, each one having their names carved on the axe. As is tradition in the Recife island chain.
Another tradition of the island chain is treewatching. More specifically, the Talthur Tree. A massive, hulking little thing that extends far above the canopy prevalent in Guanaranha, soaking up sunlight with it's massive flowing leaves. Now, when something's that tall, problems arise. Mainly, lightning.
This is something the mighty Talthur has accounted for. It has, over tens of thousands of years, evolved to resist the massive energy a lightning strike hits it over the head with. Of course, this damages the tree like nothing else, but through the lowest water to mass ratio in Erhus, strong bark, and dumb luck, the Talthur remains the tallest of tall in Guanaranha.
It makes for very fun times, watching a spear of wood defy god.
Of course, when nature dares to fight the will of god, there is getback. If a forest does not burn from time to time, it will rot under the weight of more and more life sprouting to cut a slice of the remaining land. This is especially true in ultradense Guanaranha.
The solution, of course, is something locals call the "Winged Firebrand." A small, soot coloured, hand sized bird capable of a very.. interesting action.
When a forest becomes packed to a certain point, the level of darkness under the canopy of Guanaranha becomes just perfect for the Firebrand's mating ritual. The ritual, of course, being to set fire on a path of foliage within a tree, starting a forest fire that spreads to burn through miles of foliage and leaving behind black soot, notifying any mates that fertile land is here and giving soft, black camouflage to any eggs/offspring.
This scrappy, little black bird has found it's niche in arson, and it has benefitted greatly. It's only recorded predators are the common Velos Owl, the Recifense Range Hawk, a-

I prefer filtered water. I only drink water that I filter. It taste better that way as I cannot stand the minuscule amounts of lead I can taste in tap water or normal bottled water.
The only bottled water I drink is a gallon of Spring Water from Walmart for $1.34. I drink a gallon of water every 4 hours and if I do not do so I feel sick.
My piss is so clear that I think I am the fountain of youth.

King Kanewarman VII, flanked on either sides by Chief Advisor Te Moruon and an armed guard, enters a small farming community just outside of Wesin Reab. Villagers, noticing the descendant of Kane, flock to him and soon a crowd forms around him. The King's guard pushes them away and asks that they voice their concerns one at a time.
"King! My crops are diseased!"
"Bring back the National Assembly!"
"The Wezinese--"
"Simmer down, simmer down," Kanewarman VII says, lifting his palm. At this moment, a man pushes himself through the crowd and draws a gun. He points it at the King and pulls the trigger. The King jumps back, but he is not shot, for the gun jammed. Te Moruon steps forward and slaps the wannabe assassin across the face before taking his sandal off and beating him. The bodyguard pushes Te Moruon to the side and shoots the man.
"An insult to Kane's progeny is to kill ten thousand souls!" The bodyguard yells, referencing a passage from a Keyrahti scripture. The three quickly leave the town and return to their carriage.
"It worries me," Kanewarman VII says to his men, "What have I done that would drive a man to such extremes?"
"Nothing," Te Moruon says, "He was probably Wezinese."
"I treat those people kindly, do I not?"
"Sure you do, they're just ungrateful."
"Your Highness," the bodyguard chimes in, "These trips are very dangerous. What if that gun worked?"
"I agree," the Chief Advisor says, "There'd be no one to succeed you."
"The Bakan dynasty ends with me," Kanewarman VII asserts, "I know Kane wants this. After me, there's nothing else we can do for the Kingdom. The people will no longer need my lineage to help them achieve enlightenment. They can already do that themselves, what with this changing world. Moruon, I am ready for the Land of Purity."
"Even so," Te Moruon says, "The dramatic death of their leader could throw this realm into chaos."
"Speak no more of this," the King commands.

The Younger Older Brother
In the Council of the Peoples, there are 58 chairs that comfortably hold the rump of hereditary representatives of the ethnic peoples that make up the empire of Zhenkwezima. Upon an Emporer's death, or any other status that may make the Emporer/empress permanently incapable of fulfilling their divine role, the Council of the People's will decide who of the dynasty that posses the charter of afrika should reign for the foreseeable future. The council being made of the various ethnicities is a promise to the tribes and diverse people that their needs will be met. It stands as a very respectable council yet there are two seats empty within the hall of the 29th Ethni, the ones no longer within the territory of the empire, that being the Elder-Younger Dragon the Keyrahti.
It was over 271 years ago when the Zhu dynasty fell for their treachery to the people. The Last Emporer of the Zhu dynasty was not an offspring of the Zhu but married into the family, though not a traditional move the Council Of The Peoples upon Zhu Bamba's death granted his son-in-law Kane Zhu-Li otherwise known in Keyrhati as King Kanewarman the Second, the son of Kane who broke the cycle of life and death, the title of emperor. The council agreed in an ambitious move that the granting of the divine title to the son of Kane would unite the Land of Zhenkwezima and Keyraht forging a strong union.
For around 32 years the lands of Zhenkwezima and Keyrat were the same. Over the next 3 decades, a Wezinese merchant class and a few peasants would move over to the island laying the seed of a Wezinese minority community today, Furthermore, many imperial investments were made on the island proper, giving it a more expansive infrastructure network and blessing it with mighty ports and fishing communities. Aswel a political party formed in both Zhenkwezima and Keyraht called the "Wezinese-Keyrahti Friendship Organization" Which would promote cultural and religious acceptance between the two realms. Yet This union did not last.
It was observed through his interactions with the Emporer Kanewarman II and the many chiefs of the Council Of the Peoples. That the Council had talked about bestowing the divine title to Zhu Arawa upon Kanewarman II's demise. Kanewarman II wished for his son Kanewarman III to lead after his death. So the unifying Emporer sought to destroy the council and claim hereditary rights for him and solely him so that his divine blood would rule the lands after his death. It was June 16th 5579 when during an imperial army exercise the king with three Keyrahti levies stormed the council's meeting hall attempted to disband it, and burned it down. A week later members of the Kong noble family would rally a front to reestablish the Council Of the Peoples and seize the Charter Of Afrika from the imperial palace. Hearing of the revolt coming for him Kanewarman II would flee the palace, with most of the palace guard and his army, where they would go into the countryside. The King would spend 13 months terrorizing the countryside with his imperial banditry squad, before at gunpoint stealing a transport vessel to make his way back to the kingdom. Upon reaching the island he would publically rally the peasantry and army to kick out the wezinese from their land, and in a bloody campaign, the Small Keyrahti nation would best the larger Zhenkwezima. Kong Lu would force the reaming Zhu dynasty to sue for peace on August 3rd of 5579. Then 3 weeks later the Kong noble family would claim the Charter of Afrika from the Zhu and exile them. Kong Farooq would be crowned and coronated as emporer a month later kickstarting the Kong dynasty with a bang.
Relations between the two nations today are sour. Some movements in both Zhenkwezima and Keyraht believe that union must be forged again through firey conflict. Yet these voices though present are dismissed respectively by both Kong Shaka-Umbara and Kanewarman VII. The nations do not interact as of this moment, besides trading. The rule of Kanwarman II is often looked back upon as tyrannical by Wezinese history yet this is simply not true, he was a good and just leader yet his desire to preserve his divine blood and rule saw him doing actions that angered many people. The Wezinese-Keyrahti Friendship Organization still lasts today, operating in both countries and attempting to promote better relationships between the realms yet whether they are successful is debatable, the future relationship between the two lands is uncertain.
