On a similar note, I very much enjoy NPC's treating PC's like idiots when they ask stupid questions or do stupid things right in front of them. It always makes the table chuckle collectively, but more importantly, it communicates to the PC's that these NPC's are to be treated like actual people, because they respond like actual people, not like video game quest givers that can't respond spontaneously outside of predetermined dialog options.

Best example from an old game: party interacts with bandit leader in bar he owns. Leave his office to main bar and loudly discuss betraying and killing him. Surrounded by his followers. Heads turn. Roll for initiative. Players almost die to pack of werewolves that form the bandit crew.

My players quickly caught on that NPC's have ears when they discussed not trusting a merchant while standing right next to the guy. Unsurprisingly, he loudly said 'excuse me!?'. Not as drastic as your example, but they haven't really made that mistake since.

It's gonna get worse.

The Magaratis, continuing their string of defeats since Imperial War, are going to lose to these hornets :P

Still a lot more work to do, Ainslie but let's just say I started the dispatch.

Oh, you didn't need to copy paste to create a new dispatch. You can just put that code on the relevant factbooks and dispatches.

Holy shìt. Hopefully this doesn't flop. This could possibly be a super big and informative wiki. I should get started on some articles.

No, get started on making your dispatches about what you want. That way you can just link them into TWIkipedia - the account itself doesn't really host any of its own articles.

I wish you the best, but 19 -25 for the students? This is a high school schedule, not a university one. Also, curfew is misspelled.

It's technically a boarding school/college.

These are ADULTS, not children. I've been to college three times, and not one of them has had any schedule like this. You've designed a high school, not a college.

In my early 20s, there's no way I would have consented to a curfew at 7:00. Hell, I wouldn't even have consented to one at 10:00. That's me throwing deuces and walking out right there. These are the early days of adulthood, where you're learning about your independence and establishing the behaviours that will define your adult life. A boarding school like this works for teenagers, not adults.

I know that you are like 13 or 14, and therefore have no experience of this outside of high school, but I promise you that this is NOTHING like how colleges and universities are run. Hell, do these kids even walk away with a proper degree? You don't mention them getting a BA or BB or BSc or anything.

What you're gonna get from a school like this is a bunch of trust fund brats with no life skills who went to this school an Daddy's money because their parents knew that their kids were too stupid to handle regular universities or colleges because they require a degree of independence, but they also didn't want their whelps schulking around the house like barnacles.

Give me a few moments. I am drafting a TG to address your entire RP.

Enchanta wrote:So for my RP I should lower the age range?

I think you should lower the RP into the marina's trench so it can never be found. But thats just my 2 cents.
