The inkopolitian queendom wrote:"Yeah, even if I am, quite literally, not the same ever since Pearl made Jacket and me demigods, my mind and body are just that of a normal Magi Cephalopodae, and Jacket's is just of a normal Inkling. I mean, Magi Cephalopodaes may be exponentially stronger than common Inklings, but I know that i'm not stronger than any deity. In fact, I think they'd kick my ass if it ever came down to it." She laughed.

"Back on track, I still like to think I helped the Inkopolitian populace during my time as Queen. When I eventually announce my abdication, I will try and work to not make Inkopolitia better, but the whole world better. It was a fun trip being the Queen of this country, and I unfortunately must- nevermind, I will save that for the discourse." She chuckled again.

"And yeah, I think she's ready. Let's get this started!"

Sasha briefly thought about the other "gods" that existed that she knew of. She wasn't really sure how she compared to them, though since she was so young, she assumed she probably needed a lot of time before being on even footing with them was even possible. Still, she did find it funny that Surume could joke about her own weakness in comparison to them.

"You never know. One's overconfidence can be their undoing. Though hopefully you're never in a situation where you have to interact with creatures like that again."

She realized she was technically one of those creatures, but she liked to separate herself from that image. It wasn't that she didn't like being looked at as a goddess, but that she didn't want to be associated with certain other gods she knew were troublemakers. Such as Heather.

"It sounds like you're ready for abdication already. You've even sort of gotten your speech planned. I wish you good luck in your post-resignation life. Hopefully you don't get too bored."

When Surume confirmed that Jacket was ready, she was fairly apprehensive still, but she decided nonetheless to try it and see what happened. She didn't seem to do any special in order to bring Jacket there. The process was actually instant, with Sasha having Jacket appear in a seat right next to them. Though the process itself was immediate, being teleported did have a strange feeling. Like an intense amount of pressure was being cast onto Jacket's body. However, this would only last less than a second, so it was nothing to be afraid of.

Once she had brought Jacket there, Sasha didn't say anything at first, looking at her up and down to make sure there was no damage. Though in reality, it was more mental damage she was worried about than physical damage.

"How do you feel, Ms. Jacket? Any aches and pains? Headache?"

She wanted to know of any injuries as soon as possible so she could heal them immediately, though she was fairly confident that Jacket would be fine.

Xanathium wrote:Sasha had no real problem with answering questions so long as they didn't involve her personal life.

"The world is constantly changing, which given my current position, keeps me very busy. Germania is quite nice so far, but I've only been here for a few minutes."

She followed the woman through the crowd, somewhat irritated by the flashing cameras. She stopped to answer the young boy's question though out of courtesy.

"Russia is currently stronger than ever before militarily and economically. And with the integration of genetically spliced humans into the population, I would say its social policies are acceptable as well. Of course, this isn't the same in every corner of the world, but I will do what I can to fix that as soon as possible."

She then answered the woman's question as she kept walking up the stairs.

"I hope to come to an understanding with the German leaders about particular boundaries we can set between us as well as discuss the future of Europe."

She was rather perplexed by the last question she heard, though she decided it might as well be answered.

"I already am the Tsarina of Russia. It is a Russian word that roughly translates into other languages as Queen, but it is more accurately translated as Empress. I am the leader of an Empire, so I am an Empress."

That was about as much as she was really willing to answer so she continued up the stairs, hoping to finally have some peace and quiet.

As the stairs eventually ended, they were in front of a giant decorated iron door, opened by half making a gap big enough so even the vehicle on wich they came could enter.
Inside, there layed a greater hall with a mix of Albert Speer's gothic architecture and late technology resembling the Imperial Era in glory as a revived memory yet mantaing on the technological standards of the nation.
.It is a massive great hall with at the center of it all a massive golden coloured holographic globe with the moon and sattelites included, with the German Territories and Ownerships being marked with brightness higher than in the rest of the globe. All arround, there were secretaries and their offices, departments and receptionists on just the level on wich they were, as the hall went deep and high, going on through every direction goverment officials and miltiary officers were moving arround with papers, spending their time or just citizens coming to get things done.

Small gossip and whisper was arround when they entered, but seemingly more pointed to the Chief than the Queen. A goverment building security high ranking officer would walk up to them as they walked in direction to the meeting place.

He saluted the chief, and they both shook hands.

"Mother, good to see you. He's waiting." He would tell her, she would Hmph to his commentary "Luck!" he said before walking off in a different direction.

As they walked, people would make way and take great distance from them as seemingly she was taking her to the giant Elevator on the northeast side of the hall.

Upon reaching it, she stopped before entering.

"Press the button with the Prussian Eagle on it, and think throughfully." She told her, adding a recommendation in the end, as she made way for her to enter the fancy modern elevator.

The inkopolitian queendom wrote:Kala was interested. "Ah, yeah. To be honest, i'd never thought i'd end up meeting with a Royal person as a part of a diplomatic meeting, I've always met fellow diplomats. But hey, i'm not complaining... i'm always open to trying out new stuff." She smiled, indicating that, so far, she was happy with the meeting, even with had happened a few minutes earlier.

She was curious as to what were the things that scared Luna. She wanted to ask, but due to respect, she didn't. "I see... though I have a lot of bad memories myself, i'll not ask what happened to you because of respect." She just nodded when Luna told her that she'd open a door at random. She found it strange, but wouldn't criticize it, as long as the decision wouldn't turn into something bad.

"Yeah, i've noticed this place smells quite nice. Either way, to say the least, i'm excited about the future of German-Inkopolitian relations." She smiled again.

"This is Europe, there ought to be a now and then where most diplomatic meetings are made by the actual important people and their relatives from time to time." She commented, adjusting herself in the chair across the inkling diplomat.

Now all quite finished, she would throw small devices on the table that would turn out to be small holographic devices making statistics of both nations, their economy, and more major as well as minor details about each that probably she or someone under her gathered. There was also a not yet written holographic treaty floating about in the middle of it all.

With a swing of her fingers, the holographic bodies moved so they would not obstruct the view between eachother but were still visible clearly. It was to be noted that the holographic colour was a light blue.

"Would you like to begin? I am urious about your laptop more than ever now."

The United Artherian Federation wrote:The only term that we have for that is the annexation of the Republic of Chicago by Artherian forces, barring the Northern part of Wisconsin, which would be split into two.

Nevermind then.

We want that for ourselves because that place is mostly callaxian

However we are not opposed to a deal on this.

We can give you Missouri since it’s mostly Amerikaans anyways
We can also give you southern Illinois as well.

We can always negotiate this deal as well.

Also we will probably begin setting up friendly relations with Artheria soon here.

the radicals and the monarchists,
they spend summers, they spend winters,
The artists remain.
Crises pass and wars pass,
the sensationalist journalism passes,
the prohibitions, the blacklists,
The artists remain.
The patrons pass, the censors pass,

worse times and better times,
The artists remain.
Beauty and youth pass,

the plagues pass, the health passes,
The artists remain.

If it wasn't for Homer and for that Parthenon,
who would know something about Greece and its civilization.
Rome is still Rome although it was burned by Nero,
there will be no censorship that I can against the Decameron.
Hitler occupied Warsaw and so many people trembled,

That is why I do not fear passions,

You jump to conclusions way to easily.

I don’t want another German State to feel like I’m a threat to them. I want all of the Americas at peace and getting the two biggest military powers on it in an alliance will absolutely help.

(I consider whatever continent Artheria is on as part of the Americas tbh)

The pic itself was a selfie that Jacket took, and Surume could be seen hugging Jacket, while Pearl was in the background smiling. The inkopolitian queendom wrote:Sasha instinctively got in front of Fleur. After all, the Military doctrine of Inkopolitia was to protect Inkopolitian civilians above all else. Not even an hour had passed, and she already considered Fleur as equal to a common Inkopolitian. The Inkopolitian Military High Command was aware of the fact that Sasha took Fleur in, and secretly decided to put Sasha and Fleur in a 90-day trial to see how Inkopolitians interacted with this new species. During this 90-day trial, Fleur wouldn't be arrested, and neither would Sasha for facilitating Fleur's entrace. Depending on how Fleur behaved, the High Command would react accordingly after the 90-day test period.

When Sasha was riding the car home, she occassionally looked over to look at Fleur. She thought that she looked... odd, but she didn't mind at all. Sasha always wanted to help people, so she didn't mind what Fleur looked like. She was quickly growing fond of Fleur's behavior, though, finding it adorable.

"Yes, clothings." Sasha just giggled, but she would give Fleur some clothes and a good place to sleep on. She had the urge to ask Fleur why she fleed her village, but she didn't ask, because she respected her privacy. She was surprised Fleur hugged her, but embraced the hug, in the form of patting her head. She wished she could hug her, but she was driving.

When Sasha arrived home, she invited Fleur out of the car. She opened the keys to her apartment, and welcomed Fleur. "So, if you wishings, you can live here... but, pleases, takes care of your clothings and room, yes?" Sasha smiled sweetly, hugging Fleur. She remembered the clothes, and went to her room, and picked up a blue-striped shirt, some blue baggy jeans, and a pair of yellow sneakers.

She grabbed her scissors and cut a hole through the baggy jeans. She went back to the living room and handed to Fleur her clothes. She smiled to her, while pointing at where the bathroom was. "I'll buyings mattress for you! Please stay here while I go to Good Sell to buyings the materials." She waved goodbye to her, and got out of her apartment. She turned on her car, and headed to Good Sell to buy a mattress, a pillow and a blanket.

When she came back home, she smiled to Fleur. She pointed at her to follow her. When they arrived to the bedroom, Sasha laid down the mattress, the pillow and the blanket, next to her own bed. She pointed at the mattress. "You wills be sleeping here, yes?"

I followed her into the apartment, keeping close whilst my ears angled down and back. As I walked in, I sort of tracked in some of the mud that I was covered in as I hadn't cleaned off. I simply nodded at her question. I let out a quiet 'eep' when she hugged me, as I was caught off guard. At the same time, Sasha was covered with some of the mud, but not anymore than what had been bestowed upon her by their encounter earlier. I simply looked up at her with starry, glowing blue eyes when we parted a bit, before she went to one of the rooms in the apartment.

I tilted my head oddly when she got back and handed me the clothes. I seemed confused until she pointed at the bathroom. I simply nodded, before waving a bit. I kept this sort of awestruck look on my face, having only lived in a hut for the majority of my life. Whilst she was gone I shuffled to the bathroom and changed, though I left the shoes, being to uncomfortable with them to actually wear it. After a few moments, I walked out of the bathroom, wandering about the apartment.

It took quite a bit, but when Sasha got back and smiled at me, I couldn't help but make a small little smile myself. It was a small, adorable smile; at least that is how my parents described my smiles. It was accompanied by my tail swaying a bit, though not too much; My ears were at their 90 degree angle, the highest they could actually pivot. Unlike Ororans, our ears didn't have that much degree of motion; The highest I could raise my ears was 90 degrees in relation to my spine. I watched her put the mattress and stuff down in her room, just standing nearby. "Ye-Yeah..." was all I could say. My tail was swaying gently by now, in an elegant manner I suppose, whilst me ears went back to their neutral 'downward 45 degree angle'. I obviously wasn't wearing the shoes, whilst sort of squirming around in the baggy jeans, of which didn't seem as baggy as they were prior to me putting them on.

Rumona wrote:I sat up, "Whatever you want to do...I'll come with." I smiled. It struck me as a bit odd that it seemingly got me excited inside to spend such a vast amount of time with her, but I accepted the internal emotional response to the proposition. I seemingly stared at Jade with starry eyes, which were occupied by my orange-brown irises and wide pupils. Despite my ears still being pointed downward, they stuck out quite a bit, due to Polarlicht ears being ridiculously large compared to their smaller Lubaczowe counterparts.

Jade smiled as she stood up and left a tip for the waitress who served their drinks to them. She took Ela’s hand by instinct and led her out of the building and into the city itself.

As they walked Jade took her time, allowing her and Ela to see the sights of the most futuristic city in the mainland Americas. While to some the smell of the cities was something to dread, to Jade it smelt different all together.

She enjoyed the smell of small cafes and restaurants on the lower levels while above them sat massive corporate entities and businesses. She enjoyed how the skyline itself transcended the clouds it seemed, buildings with miles upon miles of height added upon them.

However before she could take in more of the city she realized that they had reached where Jade wished to show Ela first. A massive Park entrance stood before them. They had reached Richmond Square, named after Prime Minister Jonathan Richmond who served four consecutive terms from 1888 to 1904.

Jade led Ela inside the park, the place was huge, stretching for miles in every direction yet the city itself still had a way of surrounding the park, the massive skyscrapers still being seen all around it.

“This is Richmond Square. Funny how they call it a square when the place is literally Two and a half miles in every direction no?”

She gave a small chuckle, trying to lighten the mood a bit for Ela.

“I figured that this place would give us some peace and quiet you know? I know Imperios can be quite the hectic place... always rushing around, the amount of people who are always around you at once... it’s just nice to get away sometime.”

She led Ela to a bench nearby the entrance and sat down for a second to rest her legs.

“This place acts as more of my calming space... whenever I feel stressed I come here. Now don’t get me wrong I am in no way stressed now! I just wanted to show you this place.”

Jade gave Ela a small smile before standing back up.

...

Oliver led Richard back to campus and into the cafeteria, sitting him down so they could talk.

“Richard...“

“Don’t Richard me! I’m in love with her and yet you want me to stop staring at her and even stop interacting?!”

“You and I both know that you’re just mad she rejected you’re constant offers to date you.”

“That-That is where-“

“Oh don’t deny it Richard!”

The two were arguing amongst the loudness of the lunchroom for sometime. Eventually the two began walking back to Oliver and Jades room and continued to argue but not in more of a whisper like tone.

“Do you know what she might’ve done to you got caught?”

“I don’t care! She’s just so...”

“Pretty? Yeah she gets that a lot. I wouldn’t get your hopes up on that though. She’s not really into men all that much.”

“Wait what... she’s a lesbian?”

“yeah”

“Ah I see then...”

Richard thought for a second, Oliver leaning up on the dorm room door and watching him.

“But why Ela then? Why not a human girl?”

“Well... I’m not sure she’s interested in Ela or if she is just trying to help her feel included. She does like Ela quite a lot so I know she is at least her friend.”

“But that doesn’t answer my question... why not a human being?”

“Well... think about that women who runs Hendrix. She’s marrying an inkling-“

“Yeah and look where society is taking us with that freakish marriage.”

“They are marrying because they love each other. I want Jade to at least have some chance at love in her life! She deserves it after all the sh!t her and I had to go through on a daily basis Up until about a couple years ago.”

Oliver looked at Richard sternly.

“Just stay out of her romantic circle and you and her should be cool.”

Richard nodded

“Duly noted.”

Surume started crying at Jacket's comments, but those were tears of happiness. Tears of happiness stemming from the fact that Jacket accepted her, no matter what. The couple continued hugging for a few minutes.

Sasha's own beliefs about gods rather conflicted with Surume's. By default, she didn't trust any of them. She didn't believe any god did anything for the benefit of humans or any of the other races on the planet. They either did it for fun or because they had another agenda. She only ever trusted those she personally interacted with and decided weren't too bad.

"I don't put too much stock in the virtue of any religions or the gods they pray to. Even those that pray to my own family. But I suppose it is a good thing that there is a religion that teaches acceptance of others rather than placing any one people on a pedestal. It's a step in the right direction...sort of. Ideally, religion wouldn't really be around, but as long as people like me exist, that's impossible. I have to try so hard to make sure no one starts worshiping me or something every time I do something vaguely supernatural. It's a pain..."

She did actually find it tiring and somewhat irritating, causing her to sigh, though she went back to her calm self soon. She observed the picture Surume showed her closely, taking note of Pearl's face in the background. She decided she'd have to go and meet this person one day, something she intended to do with all of the gods that directly interacted with people on the planet. But she put that thought to the back of her mind since she didn't have the time to address it anyway.

"I miss my wife just about all the time. We're leaders of two separate countries, so seeing each other is hard sometimes. Honestly, this business of being some of the most powerful women in the world is just irritating sometimes. A lot of the time I just wish we were normal people so we could just live our lives together. Though...I suppose if we were normal, we never would have met in the first place."

She chuckled a little for the first time as she thought of that irony, then turned her attention to Surume's desire to engage in philanthropic activities after her abdication. She liked the idea personally, even if it wasn't something she particularly wanted for herself after her own retirement. She was already busy enough managing her vast wealth and business operations. She didn't need another big operation to work on.

"That sounds nice, yes. It will certainly keep you busy, so I don't think boredom will be a problem. If anything, you might be just as busy then as you are now. But at least you won't have stuff like the armed forces to organize anymore. Running an NGO does take a lot of money though. But by now, I'm sure you have enough of a fortune to personally fund one quite comfortably. I wish you good luck on that endeavor."

She fell silent when she brought Jacket there, just quietly sipping her drink as they had their reunion. She did hear what they were saying as a force of habit, but tried not to listen in on their personal affairs too much. She only really paid attention when Surume finally told her about her plans to step down. Once it seemed Jacket accepted it and was quite happy about it, she went back to focusing on her drink until their emotional episode was over.

For the next few minutes, she just occupied herself by messing around with a few napkins, using her abilities to make them into different shapes. When it seemed that they had more or less ended their conversation and were more stable, she turned her attention back to them.

"Is there any particular person you would want to succeed you? I know this monarchy isn't hereditary like Russia's is, but there has to be someone you'd prefer over others, no?"
