The United Socialist States of Flippino is a huge, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its frequent executions, state-planned economy, and stringent health and safety legislation. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 838 million Flippinoans are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Administration. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 57.3%.

The strong Flippinoan economy, worth 70.6 trillion howerrs a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing, Trout Farming, Tourism, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 84,190 howerrs, with the richest citizens earning 8.3 times as much as the poorest.

Scientists are not permitted to ask questions, Leader spends weekends doing the laundry of foreign leaders, nature reserves often contain artificial waterfalls and concrete paths, and the sick and dying are locked in their homes with a red "X" painted on the front door. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Flippino's national animal is the General Services Administration, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Flippino is ranked 79,175th in the world and 33rd in Philippines for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring 3,096.34 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
