The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 308 million Urklachionians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

Eight-year-olds can be seen lighting up in public areas, lifeguards are stationed on the streets during rainstorms, children as young as eight can present logical proofs for the existence of the afterlife, and government ministers claim to ride dragons to work. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Urklachion's national animal is the Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.
