FAQ
ON POPULATION
To start out with, every Kymyn nation begins with 75,000-175,000. The amount between those two points is of your own discretion. Your population can grow or decline based on what you would like to see happen within the year. Cool kids grow their population in the spring/summer and have their populations decrease in the winter.
ON EXPANSION
I am going to allow every person, from the point that they join, the ability to grow by 5000 sq mi whenever they please. I am also allowing a 1000 sq mi expansion every time you roleplay the expansion of your nation (within my own discretion). I don't want people abusing this system, so ultimately the decision to give you that expansion comes from whether or not you've actually done a detailed roleplay and whether or not you have had too many expansions. I want to keep it to about 8-9000 sq mi per IRL month. But, of course, this world is all about having fun. So, for the sake of fun, I am going to be reasonable and be more than happy to discuss temporary empires or bouts of extreme expansionism. Because in truth, regulation is never fun. And if you are willing to do a big, detailed, nice roleplay about it; who am I to stop you from adding to lore of the world? We're here for fun so let's have it!
ON MAGIC
Magic is a complicated issue but one that I am not afraid to tackle. Domestic magic, i.e. magic that you use in your own country that is only for your roleplay enjoyment, is 100% okay with me. If you want a Merlin or a Christ figure in your roleplay that is fine by me. Now, Magic in warfare is a whole different issue. I will leave magic in warfare up to the participating parties. However, I don't think it's fair to use magic against someone who doesn't really want to deal with that whole issue. So please be considerate of the needs/wants of your fellow man. Thank you. However, magic that allows your nation's technology or well being to progress must come at some cost to your nation. Otherwise, it wouldn't be fair for you to speed passed everyone. Make sense? Let's be reasonable and cool.
ON RACES
For the time being I am not going to allow Beastfolk Races. Beast folk races include, but are not limited to; Mermaids, Mermen, Orcs, Goblins, Dragons, Dragonborns, Giants, Rieklings, Sloads, Frog-people, Cat-people. Basically; if it is a humanoid animal or a sentient animal, please don't. This isn't because I hate those concepts but I believe a majority of us want this to be as "true to life" as possible. Of course, minorities of these people I suppose wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Just, try to steer from them.
Modified humans are fine. AKA Humans that are taller, broader, dumber, etc. those are fine *so long as they have draw backs and bonuses*. Keep them balanced.
All races of Elf (high elf, dark elf, half elf, chimer, dwemer) are fine.
ON MYTHICAL BEASTS
[i]Unicorns, dragons, wyverns, hellhounds, giant fish, pokemon, things like that are tough to tackle. We should really try to stay away from things like that, as in keep them in legend. But of course, so long as it doesn't effect other people, I don't have any problems with it. Like don't use them in battle, but if you have a unicorn in your stable; who are you hurting, really?
