The Silmad has a large and ever growing mining industry, with mines and quarries scattered throughout all regions of the nation. The most mined resource in the Silmad is coal, with almost half of all mines being coal mines, with the rest of the industry being divided between iron, metals, copper, lead, silver and gold.

Infrastructure

The Silmad has heavily invested in it's public infrastructure, with trains running between all regions of the country at all times of the day, subways operating in all major cities and buses operating in all cities. While the roads of the Silmad are very well maintained, few people own personal vehicles, preferring instead to use public transport. The streets of the Syl are used mostly be pedestrians, bicyclists, buses and militias.
