Formation of the Swiss Federation
Delegates met in Geneva to finalise the deal that creates the new, strictly neutral nation of Switzerland. People have celebrated the unification of Helvetica into one unified state. Our goal is to create a neutral nation where international meetings and diplomacy can take place, we will not expand or attack any nation, ever. We are strictly neutral nation and we wish to continue on this path
Construction of the Swiss Highway System and Railway Suisse Network
In a speech at Alexanderplatz in the Capital, Bern, Jean Luc Thierry announced plans to construct a major road network to further industrialise nation. The project, which costs 200 million francs, is slated for completion by 1920.
In the later months of 1910, Switzerland will begin introducing a series of reforms aimed at industrializing the entire country. These plans will be efficiently and professionally planned out by the Department of Industry.
Noticing the insuffiency of Switzerland’s shipbuilding industry, the Swiss Department of Industry will be investing $20,000,000,000 to fund the construction of twelve new state of the art shipyards, each differently able to administrate different sizes of ships. The new shipyards, upon completion, will manufacture both military and civilian vessels and with the government's cooperation, private banks are there to help invest in the plan. In addition, current shipyards deemed 'outdated' will begin modernization. The most up to date equipment, tools and technology will replace the ageing ones thus greatly improving shipbuilding effiency and providing employers and employees alike with the safety they deserve. All of this was in hope of increasing the industrial economy and further develop economic trade with the empire's neighbors.
In late 1890’s and early 1900’s, automobiles and trains were in such high demand. This was especially seen in North America and Europe. Foreign businesses come regionally and globally in order to ease the demand for automobiles. The Swiss government has already made plans to remove tariffs on imports involving mechanic transportation and vehicles to increase import capacity. The need to transport goods, services and people will become vital as the nation shifts towards an industrial economy. This was because complex mechanisms were needed to be carried by trucks instead of horses. For agriculture, tractors are literally immensely important, because of anything too heavy to be carried can be pulled at a faster rate than what a horse may do. For the public and civil services, the invention of motorcycles can be used to deliver mail and other important reports in a short amount of time, due to the speed the motorcycle goes by. The Swiss transport industry was in its earliest stage, but not its beginning stage.
The Swiss Department of Transport has announced that they will be investing $100,000,000 towards the complete renovation of roads, both pedestrian and vehicle lanes, bridges and railway systems. It is expected that the renovation of Switzerland’s transport systems will take 10 years to complete. With that said, the government has called on to the military to lend a helping hand to civilian workers in the renovation and maintenance of Switzerland’s transport systems. In the long run, the massive projects will help create tens of thousands of new jobs.
With the absolute massive plan for the Switzerland economy comes with a price, and that price comes in the form of oil, money, and more oil. As a result of this, the Swiss government has sold a large number of permits to domestic companies, allowing them to explore and extract mineral resources from various parts of the country. To ensure the balance of nature is not interfered with, the government has passed the Allocation of Resources Act. This act will ensure the protection nature and the thousands of species who call these forests, mountains, seas and lakes their home. Additionally, the government's of Switzerland and Saudi Arabia have agreed on a historic deal. Switzerland will provide Saudi Arabia with agriculture products and oil will be imported in return.
For society, the Swiss government notices and supports the workers of the economy. They are the backbone of industries and industries are the backbone of the nation. In order to ensure the smooth running of Switzerland’s industrial sector in the long run, and that of other sectors, the Department of Health and Labour's budget will be increased by 10%. Switzerland is home to an estimated 70,000 homeless people. In order to solve this major issue, the government has launched the Home First Programme (HFP). The homeless, under the HFP, will be given permanent housing on a normal lease. That can range from a self-contained apartment to a housing block with round-the-clock support. Tenants pay rent and are entitled to receive housing benefits. Depending on their income, they may contribute to the cost of the support services they receive. The rest is covered by local government.
For a long time, women's right to work alongside men have been ignored. But as the world continues to change, so too must the nation. It is with this reason that the government has overwhelmingly passed the Women's Right To Equality Act. This ensures that women have a place in the Swiss society and to have a say in political matters by being allowed to take part in votes. The passing of this act would also make it illegal for employers and employees to harass or take advantage their female counterpart. Recruitment stations in major cities across the nation would, for the first time, open it's doors to women.
Though the primary focus for the government is the industrial sector, the agriculture sector will not be ignored. Plans for reforms are already being debated within the government aimed at improving the effiency and structure of the country's agriculture sector. Combined, the government is expected to be spending a staggering 300,000,000SF for the complete modernization of the Swiss economy.

Seizure of Panama
It was a calm day, the winds were tranquil and the waves soothing. American commandos waxed ashore onto the beaches of La Vista, near the Panama Canal. The guns fired, the sky turned crimson with fire and the seas red with blood. Ships sank as birds hunted and killed their prey, on the calm unsuspecting day, all was shattered. The U.S. commander, John J. Pershing, ordered 5,000 brave Marines to seize the bridges to Panama City. After a week of ferocious jungle warfare, where US rifles were frequently jammed, the US captured the city. At gunpoint, the Panamanian President surrendered his nation to US Occupation.
Construction of the International Halls in Geneva
In light of Switzerland's growing role as a meeting place for world leaders due to its strict neutrality, the Swiss government has opened the largest international conference complex in Geneva. The project cost $4,000,000 and 14,000 workers were enlisted to construct this mammoth complex. The City of Geneva is a city in Switzerland that lies at the southern tip of expansive Lac Léman (Lake Geneva). Surrounded by the Alps and Jura mountains, the city has views of dramatic Mont Blanc. Headquarters of Europe’s United Nations and the Red Cross, it’s a global hub for diplomacy and banking. French influence is widespread, from the language to gastronomy and bohemian districts like Carouge. New rail and road links have been opened, making the Alpine resorts miore accesible. The first conference is scheduled to take place in September 1910, on the Geneva Conventions treaties on warfare and civilian treatment.

The Referendum of the Mid-West and of Hawaii and Alaska
A referendum was held in the Mid-West and the region voted 88% in favour of joining the USA. Alaskans and Hawaiians Vote To Join The U.S.A.
In a landmark referendum, the peoples of the two nations voted to join the USA. The results in Alaska are as follows: 72% In Favour of Joining the USA as a state - 20% Against - 8% In Favour of Special Territory Status. There were protests in Anchorage, claiming that the Alaskan and US Secret Service rigged the vote, but Washington denies all allegations.
In Hawaii, the results were as follows: 82% In Favour for Joining the USA as a state and 18% Against. (The ballot didn’t include a special territory question).
Hawaii and Alaska’s increased reliance on the USA enabled the American government to force a referendum on joining the USA upon these nations. US companies heavily supported the campaign, with 67% of all advertising funding coming from Wall Street firms.
Timeline
United States will now annex the territories as U.S. Special Territories. They will be granted home rule, temporarily, with their own legislative bodies. These bodies can be overruled by Congress at any time however. When President Hoover was elected, he pledged to continue the policy nicknamed ‘Manifest Destiny’. He wanted the United States to go from ‘sea to shining sea’, as he put it. This was achieved with the invasions and purchases of the Great Lake Republic, the California Republic and the North-West Republic. Congress was worried about foreign intervention in these land grabs, so they usually quickly passed the bills allowing the U.S. to annex these territories.
What Happens Now?
Well, at 9am Hawaii time tomorrow, the U.S. Marine Corps will conduct a ceremony in Honolulu to mark the beginning of American rule. In Anchorage, Alaska, the U.S. Marine Corps will also conduct a ceremony to mark the beginning of American rule. For a period of 6 months, these territories will have Territorial Assemblies, like State Governments. This will last until the Congress is expected to pass a bill to give them statehood, in 6 months.

THE GREAT TATENDAN ASSEMBLY GATHERS IN GENEVA
The citizens of Tatenda will gather in Geneva for the drafting of the Cosntitution of Tatenda. All members will recieve a vote, although non-binding. Then the WA delegate, Founder and Prime Minister will meet at the Hotel Suisse in Lausanne, where they will agree on the wording and doctrine of the Constitution. Currently, Tatenda is under a provisional government, enacting laws with the unelected Chambers of Parliament. After the constituion is accepted, elections will be held, where all citizens may vote. If you haven't already, please join the World Assembly, as this is one proof of your citizenship.

INVASION OF AUSTRALIA HAS STARTED
British and Indian troops have started to travel to Australia to invade the land. The first boats have just left the port of Ennore on the east coast of India. The travel time will be roughly be 8 and a half days to the beaches of exmouth Australia. The troops will land and will immediately start attacking major cities and the invasion will roughly take 18 days to take over the major cities and traveling over the barred landscapes of their dusty country. Australia is a good country to be control of for the coal and troops. The troops will capture any troops that will try attack our troops and if the enemy troops do not attack they will be let free after being questioned about Tocantins of weapon depots and bases.

Backstory: February 23rd 1985 was when Russia officially changed from a communist government to a democratic one. Some parts of the country hated the changed and split Russia in half. One being the official Russia (East) and the other being the Communist Russian Party (West). Russia took the Communist Russian Party as hard as they did because the west was better equipped for war due to the Cold War.
During March 2nd 1990, Russia sent a full out army to invade the west side off of Europe (real life west Russia) and Mongolia. The Russian Armed Forces took off late afternoon March 1st at 7:35pm MSK and Russian Air Force followed March 2nd 4:30pm MSK. The RAF arrived March 3rd 9pm MSK in major areas of effect to control different sectors and gain access to mainframes. The RAF secured multiple major sights so that the RaF could seize militaristic bases and storm cities. March 4th 10am MSK, the commando Sukhoi Su-35BM aircraft crashed into a skyscraper to stop a potential missile launch to a major Russian base 2 miles away. Commander Альберт Василий was operating the plane and took his life to save thousands of Russian soldiers. Later at 12pm MSK Russian tanks encountered enemy forces coming from the NW, predicted from a Moscow Military Base. 20 Russian tanks were severely damaged before luring the enemy tanks closer together and outside city limits to drop an air missile from a Sukhoi Su-57 to destroy the group of 25. 5pm came and the Russians roughly took most of the land, all that was left was Moscow, the land west of Finland, and Mongolia. The RAF and RaF stormed into Moscow city limits taking sectors an hour at a time. A resistance group of attackers were located in downtown Moscow. The group of 347 were hiding waiting to ambush the Russian forces. Snipers were placed on rooftops to shoot down targets. Russian troopers jumped in through windows and doors, throwing in frag grenades. The result of the assault were only 320 enemies but 120 Russian soldiers were injured or killed. The RAF then headed north to claim the last of their remaining Pre-Russia. At 1am MSK the RAF encountered heavy fire of anti-aircraft weaponry. Many planes went down during the Northern takeover, but the land was soon claimed by the RaF reinforcements and Northerners surrendering. RaF then went south to claim their land that was most rich of oil in Russia. Russia states that there is no threat to Turkey, but Russian land is near, so do not threat over the coming forces. In the afternoon of March 6th 1990, Russia has officially taken back land that was theirs 5 years ago. Vladimir Putin was ashamed it had to come to invading their own land back, but they weren’t going to take the Communist Rebellion lightly.
Now that Russia is Russia again as of March 5th 1990, there was another battle happening at the same time, in Mongolia. March 3rd 12pm MSK is when the RAF and RaF took aim and fired upon Mongolian troops. Tanks rolled into camps and whatever bases were set up in the area. RAF quickly made it into the capital city of Ulaanbaatar and seized power in the country. Although some of the citizens left, Russia will still benefit on the resources of the land. Mongolia was successfully taken March 6th 1990 and added as Russian soil. Casualties lay at 35,000 troops, 87 tanks, and 62 aircrafts. Since the governmental change, the returned land will greatly benefit Russia, as well as the addition of Mongolia.
INVASION OF SYRIA SUCCESSFUL
As of today the army of 400,000 Turkish armed forces have seized Damascus a capital from yet another tyrannical 'dictator'. Through shier force and will the armed forces cut off major supply lines and telecommunications systems throughout the land. Bashar al-Assad was seen shot dead in house from a self inflicted gunshot wound. With there being minor terrorist groups there strongholds were captured. Also, due to a secret agreement the Turkish government will award the cost of Syria including the cities of Lakatia and Tartus. Allahuh Akbar
President Reagan Denounces The Invasion Of Mongolia
President Reagan has denounced the invasion of Mongolia, stating that Russia 'was trying to become the leading superpower in Asia and beyond'. Today, Russian forces captured Ulaanbaatar and seized the nation in an invasion. US Forces Asia have been blostered by 600,000 more troops, with 3,000,000 men called up for emergency service. US Strategic Air Command have been flying the latest aircraft, B-2's and F-18's over Mongolian airspace, with Russian Air Defences incapable of shooting them down. They are flying recon missions and some rumours from Washington suggest that a US intervention is looming. In Anderson AFB, Guam, 300 B-52's set out to Mongolian and Russian airspace near Vladivostok in a show of force. US Forces worldwide have gone on DEFCON 4, with signs the situation may escalate. The US Navy have sent the 7th Fleet to directly challenge the Russian Navy in the Sea of Japan. The 7th Fleet includes 30 nuclear submarines and 3 carriers. A nuclear standoff is brewing between the USA and Russia, only time can tell if we'll survive this one.

RUSSIAN AND AMERICAN HAWAII MEETING
A meeting took place April 10 1990 in Hawaii where President Putin and President Reagan met. There were rough and heated moments, but Putin is somewhat satisfied with the results. Putin adds, “I am reasonably satisfied with the events that took place today. It could have gone worse. We lost all 4 Chinese provinces for Mongolia, but men did not die to get those Chinese provinces, they did for Mongolia.” The meeting took 2 hours from beginning to end. Chinese relations will still go well, but not as well as if we still had at least one provence.

RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT REACTS TO AMERICAN RESPONSE
As of April 8th America sent their latest aircrafts over Russian-Mongolian airspace seemingly threatening the area. After the Hawaii meeting April 10th we will see how this will continue, so far Russia is still at DEFCON 3 while America lowered it to DEFCON 4, a seemingly well reasonse. Vladimir and Начальник Генерального штаба decided to also lower to DEFCON 4 today, a leap of faith from both militaries is a good sign of the Cold War ending.

RUSSIA BEGINS OIL SEARCHES AND MORE
With Russia’s new addition of Mongolia, mining teams are sent to find and place oil rigs in oil rich places. Russian government pays millions into city repair. Russia installs cameras to every military machinery to keep better track of their own movements plus the movements of others out in the air and sea. Russia begins anti-aircraft and missile programs for any purpose if needed defense from America, hopefully no defense will be needed from American forces.

IN RESPONSE TO TURKEY
Due to turkey cutting our oil supplies we are terminating the coal supplies from Australia to turkey. This will slow factory speeds to make new military equipment. This does not mean that talks of resupplying of oil. We would like to talk to turkey about this problem
SEAS ON LOCK DOWN
All seas and oceans controlled by the uk have been put on lock down and no ships will be allowed in except if they our own ships or our allies (which is russia). Any ships that try to enter will be ask to leave or be destroyed. This is a warning.
The US Navy sends 300 ships to destroy the 100 ship Royal Navy
In response to the illegal blockades imposed by the British, US Navy ships have received orders to open fire on any Royal Navy vessel, and to seize their port with marine landings. In the seas of Britain, 100 US Navy ships have begun a counter blockade. Any non-US ship entering British waters will be sunk. In the Indian Ocean, 200 US Navy vessels have begun a convoy raiding mission, attacking any British ship carrying supplies to the UK or if they are Royal Navy ships. Britain relies on international trade routes being open, so this move is expected to cripple the UK's economy and disconnect it from its empire.
ALLY REQUEST DENIED
Russia has seen a recent UK news post about Russia being allies with UK, this is now false. Russia is in a bad place in itself. Russian economy is recovering from Communist ruling, once and again Russian lands need rebuilding and regrowth. Also recovering from the Cold War with America, which may be at a soon close. Russia will stay at DEFCON 4 since the war is not yet officially over between America and Russia and the near UK-American conflict. Russia is however disappointed that America has come to such a conclusion with the UK, but also the UK growth affairs.

RUSSIA PRODUCES MORE MILITARY
Due to tensions rising in the general world and Russia’s pride of being 2nd in world power, Russia will start military programs of all around military. Tusar Bombas will be produced, weaponry will be modified, researchers will invent better military technology, and more battleships, aircrafts, and tanks will be produced. Multiple cities are opening up all around Russia for a larger population. So will military bases in West Russia and 2 new ports on the East coast.
