I think being President and Party Chairman at the same time is unacceptable. The matter of him resigning from the party altogether is a different discussion - but I think it is a symbolic move made to dismiss partisanship or idk.
I still believe in pretty much everything the Unity Party stands for, or at least my interpretation of what they stand for. Why I’m running as an independent is because I want to be able to give equal opportunity to all sides in terms of what I can do for them as President. The President’s role isn’t a legislative one and I don’t intend to have much influence on which bills Congress passed and which it rejects. What I hope to do is to create an environment for parties and other legislators to communicate and cooperate more than they have been doing recently.
Just had to put this here. I recently rediscovered the XKCD substitutions extension for chrome, and I was surprised and alarmed to see Fishergate's announcement (before realising that it was just the extension). Here's a part of what it looked like for me:

Why?
Well, if you say so, but I don't think that really affects anything much at all. I might even go so far as to say you might've done more good in this sense if you did stick with your party.
As much as I dislike agreeing with ICH (I still would ask him to address why his party held no vote and was not notified beforehand of the merger), Party communications would also be a heck of a lot easier with a Discord (we'd need a new server, the current one is really messed up) and also encourage Titanne to join discord if at all possible.

It was in the coalition agreement between both UNI and TPP as TPU that Paropia should become chair.
Because of some political manoeuvre and political circumstances I have been chosen as chairman at that time.
However I agreed with Paropia at the beginning that he should be given the chance which was promised first to him to lead the senate and have some experience.
That is why I also hold on the end of the agreement in my part and after two months I have given him the Chair.
This whole Paropia situation, even as it was not all caused by the procedures or Paropia himself, with Creckelenney's political crisis also being a huge part of it, shows that we might need to reconsider our laws on Parliamentary procedures and motions of no confidence. Things like this were not supposed to happen, but now the Senate is stuck for a month with no way out. I think my amendment to the House Procedures as well as a similar one for the Senate Procedures will be a great help in that regard, and I urge all MPs to support it.

I believe you have the right to do whatever the hell you want as long it doesn't infringe on other people's right to do whatever the hell they want.
2. Stability in congress
I'm not a party loyalist as Cerdenia and The Islamic Country of Honour can tell you.I'll work on the other side and become the bridge builder in the senate. I will compromise with the other side.
3. Dialy town halls I'll have a daily town in a town hall discord server.
4. The constitution
Every 6 months we should have a constitutional convention
5.Recruitment
I believe we should a
Recruitment committee of 10 nations that will send recruitment telegraphs(members will be appointed by the HAM
Have an ambiguous goal of 1000 telegraphs a day,1 million telegraphs in 2 weeks, 3 Million telegraphs a month.
Start a voluntary patron so we can send telegraphs. ( shout out to @Ryvern for the idea)
Have a list of nations we send a telegraph to so we equally get all parts of Nation States.
6.Government reform
I believe a Unicameral system is more efficient, But Bicamerism provides a stronger oppisition.I'm currently more favorable of Unicamerism but I think there should be a referendum on the member.
7.Getting rid of MEE6
MEE6 is annoying and as Senator, I will lobby to get that damn bot out of here.
8. I think we should establish a Ministry of Homeland Security to make sure Thaecia is safe from bots, cyberbullies and election interference.
9.Unicamerism vs Bicameralism
I personally prefer Unicamerism over Bicameralism but I think we should hold a referendum and I will respect the results.
10. Put term limits on High court Justices
11. Make Marvinton the head on the Ministry of the Van.
