I've had to do some work to try and save it since the game's updated since then. I might continue it when I have the time, or start a new one without me playing.

Well, perhaps a new one would be better, then? I mean, SC could perhaps start off as a slighty more advanced native state, but not on European level?

Well, one of my favorites is Lee Oliver, actually. He is also on the flag.

Earth luna and mars

Why do I always miss the activity XD

An Unknown Sector, an Unknown Time

Feet pound through muddy streets as the pouring rain fought against the fires consuming buildings, the figure of a cloaked woman carrying a bundle stumbles to keep her balance as the sounds of battle and screams echoes through the night. Tears mix with rainwater as she falls, her and her bundle going separate ways as she tumbles across the muddy cobblestones. Sobbing she crawls through mud, rainwater, and blood across the street to her now crying bundle and hurriedly scoops it up and slips under a porch along the road. She makes it into hiding moments before a fight separate from the main battle turns around the other side of the house onto the street she was just on. The shouts of warriors mixes with blades clashing against blade, armor, and flesh. She watches, barely holding in the sobs to not be found as she watches boots move along the street. A body falls directly in front of her, the face of one of the invaders, a twisted version of humanity that spots her in its death throes. Pointed teeth shine as it tries to point at her, before a blade pierces its head, killing it for good and startling the woman, making her crawl back to along the house as quickly as she could. She holds her bundle as tight as she can as the blade pulls out of the grisly creature's head and continues its battle.

Finally, the fight is carried elsewhere down the street, leaving only new dead and blood in front of the porch the woman hides under. The rain continues to pour, and the sounds of siege engines now being used forces the woman to action. Crawling out from under the porch into the street the battling groups came from, she hurries to her feet, only to look up into the face of a woman in a white and gold robe. "Stay close to me," Is all she says before continuing down the street, the woman confused but complies, holding her bundle close and tight as she follows the Inquisitor. "There is a defense force waiting at the western gate, escorting civilians out of the city," The Inquisitor says in a serious, focused tone as gold light flashes around her and in the street, hunting down the invaders skulking about. "The city is lost, the Bloodkin are too numerous for them to take on."

"But, you are an Inquisitor, servant of the world!" The woman finally speaks in a voice raspy from crying and screaming. "Surely you can handle this, you could save us!"

The Inquisitor stops, forcing the woman to stop as well as the Inquisitor looks her in the eye. "I did not come for them."

A roar echoes through the night, drowning out the distant sounds of battle as the Inquisitor glances up at the sky. "Stay close."

The woman is in a panic, but for the sake of her child nods quickly and follows the Inquisitor, who is moving much quicker now. The two move as silently as they can around the fight, running as soon as they reach an empty alley for the west gate. The wind picks up, a gust passing both from their backs and down on them, tempting the woman's eyes skyward, where she sees just for a moment a giant dark shape pass between the clouds. But the Inquisitor had stopped, throwing out a surprisingly strong arm that stops the woman in her tracks. Forced to get a better grip on her child, the woman looks back to in front of them, just in time to catch a large and armored figure wielding a large sword in one hand illuminated by a flash of lightning, before he was hidden once more by the rain and the night. "We must go different ways now," The Inquisitor says before she casts some fortification spells on herself.

"But, but what about y-"

"I will be fine, what matters is you getting to the western gate. Go, go!" The Inquisitor drives her down a side street, "May the goddess guide you."

The woman backpedals, trying not to take her eyes off of the Inquisitor before she sees her protector's eyes grow wide, right as she feels her back hit metal. Forced to stop like she ran into a wall, she looks straight up as a helm hiding glowing eyes looks down at her. A giant gauntlet gently pulls her hood back, revealing the woman's pointed ears and terrified face. The dark armored figure swings a battleaxe off of his shoulder as smoke billows from under its horned helmet. The woman withers, trying to protect her child. "Please, please spare us, spare our city! We have done nothing wrong!"

"The God King will decide your fate," The giant rumbles with a gravely voice before stepping aside. The woman freezes, not sure what is happening before fear and instincts kick in and drive her to flee. Only after running does she look back as the giant continues to advance on the Inquisitor that saved her, swinging the axe as it alights in sparking flames, the other dark knight appears in a flash, swinging his sword to decapitate the Inquisitor, barely deflected by a magical field. The knight recovers quickly, avoiding a flash of yellow light from the earth before he begins to circle the Inquisitor, the giant cutting down a Bloodkin attempting to attack as well before charging in himself. The woman forces herself to look away from her protector as she runs and runs, not daring to look back again.

She runs for what feels like an eternity before a wall explodes next to her, sending her and her bundled child flying against a now collapsing house. She lets out a scream of pain as she feels ribs break and something snap her left shin as she finally falls to the ground. Through the pain she forces herself to crawl to her child, who has fallen out of her blanket wrappings and crying in a puddle of water and blood. She hears the hissing first, then the sound of claws on stone. Her head whips to the new hole in the border wall as dark eyes glow under helmets and Bloodkin pour through the opening. She quickly shakes her child out of her sobbing and forces her to stand. "Autta, you have to be strong now, no crying, please you must run!"

But the child was too traumatized, only curling up in the puddle, screaming and crying. "Oh gods, please, please save us, please save us!"

The Bloodkin surround the easy prey, drawing decrepit swords and knives as they take their time creeping towards the mother and her child. The woman sheds silent tears as she draws her only protection, a knife from their kitchen as she grabs her daughter with one hand and pushes them away with her one good leg. Fear lighting up her eyes as lightning lights up the Bloodkin and the burning city-

The God King will decide your fate.

Wh-what-

For God.
For King.
For Country.
For Glory.

One whispered word escapes her daughter's lips from under her arm.

"Forenzelon."

The woman looks to her daughter, not sure what she just heard, before she looks up to see the Bloodkin turn to dust before her eyes, having not even the time to realize what was happening to them. All of them became nothing as their remains mix with the mud and the blood. The sheer disbelief of what just happened clouded the pain she was in, long enough for her to realize that the Bloodkin were not the only things that disappeared. She can no longer hear the sounds of battle. No swords, no screams, no boots splashing in mud and water. Even the siege engines have gone silent. Her mouth hangs slightly open as she looks through the damaged wall at the rest of the city, beginning to hear cheers of surviving defenders who have been spared by an act of god. She looks down to her now silent daughter before she hears the clanging of heavy boots against drowning cobblestones. The pain was beginning to set in as she looks up at the two black knights from before, now looking down on her and her daughter. They both are silent, both covered in blood being cleaned by the rain. The giant knight looks first from the woman, then to her child, who no longer showed any fear and stares back at him with wide yet calm eyes. The silent is long, but ends in a sentence.

"It appears God has decided your fate, little sister."

If you are devoted to trying to be normal again, a good person." As they passed through the tunnel it was lines with illuminating crystals that lit up the cobblestone path, roots covering the rocky cave exterior giving the tunnel a more elven aesthetic to it.

At the end of the tunnel she could start to see a clearing. "Welcome, to Argent River. Our families hidden village where we have hid in seclusion ever since the collapse of the Golden age of Aura." The village seems to stretch out before the three of them, in the centre of this village, stretching to the top of this hollow mountain was an enormous tree, looking like a giant willow tree. Something shy of 200 hundred houses stood around the massive expense of the tree, to the point that the houses were even made out of the roots of this grand tree.

"For countless generations our family has lived, thrived here in semi-seclusion... We keep in contact with some of the other great houses of aura but not all. We keep our bloodline diverse by marrying out into other aura houses and other individuals that prove themselves loyal and worthy to our family. You are the first untested outsider to come into our village in over 1000 years." Grandpa Donny says before he looks back to Ryland. "Make sure you behave yourself while you stay here And we won't have trouble. Understand?"

Ryland looks around in awe, struck by how beautiful her new surroundings are. She looks to Donny and nods quietly. "I will treat your home with respect... It an incredible place..." She smiles softly, her intents seeming genuine.

Wabacha wrote:"More of a utility type, eh Heimrich?"

"Huh?" Heimrich looks at Atticus before he realizes somewhat what he was talking about. Both Alice and Duchess also listen in, now that Atticus spoke out of the blue.

"Your coffee there, how you changed the twmperature."

"Oh, uh, I guess."

"Wait, you did what."

"He doesn't really understand what he did yet. He changed the temperature of his coffee by manipulating the convection process, using his aura to create a better conductor out of the air to pull the heat out of the cup, since these are designed to not let any escape for the drinker's pleasure," He says as he taps his own cup with a finger. "Since you were able to do that so easily, despite being new to this, I can say you're a utility guy."

Heimrich felt like he was missing something. "I didn't know mantra had categories."

"Technically it doesnt, but it's human nature to categorize everything we see or experience. It is also in human nature to excel at certain things. For you I can already tell you are a natural at influencing your environment. I for one naturally excell at influencing other people. There's a reason why I was able to beat your monster form back then," He adds with a laugh.

Heimrich pursues his lips in thought, taking that in. "Hm. That's good to know I guess. Though being able to control other people sounds more effective."

"That's only because you haven't put any thought into what you can do yet. Your coffee trick for example, while good it took too long to finish and you were pretty obvious in doing it. A real aura master coughlikemecough is able to do the same thing but faster and unnoticed."

Heimrich gives him a stink eye as he brings his cup up to his lips, before Atticus recoils from his suddenly bitter cold coffee. "Wh- Hey!"

"Faster and unnoticed huh? Maybe you should learn from a real mast- agh!"

Heimrich also recoils from his now burning hot coffee before both men start glaring at each other, slowly bringing their cups to their lips as a heat war is waged between the two mantra users. In a sudden upheaval Heimrich brings his cup up and drinks from it, taking Atticus by surprise as he had just heated it back up. But he soon senses what Heimrich is doing, moving the heat through the coffee like it was a fluid itself, out of what he was now drinking and into the rest of the coffee, countering Atticus' heating technique. Once he had figured it out be smugly did the same. They continue to stare at each other as they continue slowly draining their cups. But the stalemate breaks as Heimrich scrunched his eyebrows. It took him a moment, but Atticus could feel Heimrich cooling the coffee inside his body-

"Hey, do I have to separate you two?"

"No ma'am."

"Sorry."

Everything was back to normal before Heimrich and Atticus even realized what happened, sharing a confused look.

The rest of breakfast went off without a hitch, the four sharing in pleasant conversation. Time felt like it disappeared, for their waitress was off with Atticus' card to pay for their meal before they even realized it. Atticus let out a contented sigh, before he saw an opportunity to give Heimrich another lesson. "Heimrich, why do you think I payed for the meal?"

"Uhh... Cuz it's the right thing to do? And the fact that we spent all of our money awhile ago?"

"No, no, that's not it. Well it is the right thing to do morally speaking, but that's not what I meant. Sure, I could have just threatened her, or held the city for ransom," He says as he points up, generating a tiny point of light above the tip of his finger. "With just this I can turn the entire east coast to ash. Scary isn't it, having people run about with this much power," He says, Alice definitely starting to look a bit concerned as Heimrich just stares at him, trusting the old wolf more than Alice does. "But we don't have to do anything so drastic Heimrich, we have a way of controlling the world that is far more sophisticated than any normal Aura user. We can influence everything, from the waitress, to security and traffic cameras, to every person's memory who saw us come here, even those who saw my car out of the corner of their eye as we drove here. Hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of people, I know exactly everything that has recorded or seen us come here since we left the forest. And I can alter all of them."

Now Heimirch is looking a bit alarmed, having had some idea that this power was immense, but not to this degree. The offhanded power to remake untold people's memories, fabricate new truths, alter video feeds that have already been processed.

"But I don't even have to do that. Mantra is powerful, but it is also subtle." The pinpoint of light lets out a small flash before transforming into a infamous and prized Senate Coin that now balances on Atticus' finger. "Or is something more modest your style?" The coin morphs into a simple gold coin, more enough to pay for breakfast. "Not only is it a perfect copy, but nothing in existence can disprove that it wasn't printed in a Senate printery. Not only would it not be a hassle for us, but it also has no chance to get the diner or waitress in trouble for counterfeit money, or them suddenly having a Senate Coin, or the waitress not getting her well deserved tip, or for the restaurant not getting the money they should to pay for the ingredients and to pay their worker's wages. No downsides, at all." Atticus flips the coin in the air to catch it in his hand. "So, why did I not do it?"

Heimrich is completely silent, having been bombarded with too many ideas and lines of reasoning, all to end with that one for him to decide on an answer so swiftly.

"Because we are still part of this world."

The coin fades away as Atticus picks up his coffee cup and warms up what coffee is left, swirling it around the cup. "We have great powers Heimrich, powers that aren't exactly common. We have the abilities that can rival the gods themselves, but that doesn't make us gods ourselves. We are still part of life, of nature. Mantra lets of delve inward to see what life truly is, and where we belong in it. Our place does not change from us learning Mantra, or even aura for that matter. Mantra does not give us the right to make petty choices and waste our new insight to make our lives easier, even to the smallest degree. Nature, and life, gave us this power. It is our duty, then, to give what we can back to it."

It was a lot to take in, Atticus knew that. Mantra was a weighty responsibility to uphold, to use its potent powers of inward and outward manipulation in a way to not lose oneself. This was in the true lesson of Mantra, the balancing act of power and humility to keep the immense mental potential from spiraling out of control. He knew the kind of person Heimrich was, and this was the best way to teach him the necessity of balance. Honestly everything else he told him was a bunch of bull, but there was no harm in that.

But it apparently put a memory in Heimrich's head, of a less than pleasant encounter.

"You see Heimrich? You will live alone, a life full of hate and despair and death that will only end when someone decides to put you out of your misery.

Heimrich lets out an amused huff. Things ended up a little different than both of us expected. "Is there a quick way to get somewhere far away? I need to... Catch up with someone."

"And leave us all alone?"

Heimrich just gives him a look. "Alright alright, fine. Aura has ways of 'warping' to places we've been. Mantra, naturally, is a little more nuanced and smooth. Picture where you want to go, and concentrate. Your aura will do the rest."

Heimrich looks to Alice and gives her a faint smile. "Don't worry, I won't be in any danger. I hope. I'll meet you guys back at the cabin."

Atticus huffs and crosses his arms and looks at the ceiling. "What a cocky guy, saying things like that before he actually figures- Out..." He looks back down to see an empty booth next to him. "... Warping."

It was Alice's turn to give him a look. He shrugs. "Well, he is a natural."

"A natural pain in my butt."

"You said it Alice, not me."

Spreading his wings wide again, Gladio leaped back up into the sky to gain some distance, he threw an arm forward riddled with the same energy he used in his last attack, energy trailed behind his sweeping arm as energy needles fired in the hundreds as the arced for the Beast, eager to implode within the beast's body. Raising his other arm he thought quickly, creating shackles to clamp the beast into place so he couldn't move out of the way.

For the others, not including Chaos who was adoring this the moment they arrived, this situation looking to a heated nightmare if Gladio was having trouble from the start. "Well we made it Commander but our engines and FTL drive is busted... I'm not sure how long we can last out here in the middle of no where." Kash said.

"The others could've have made it surely we are not the only military transport ship to come through here send a out a distress signal for any Sol Republic fleets that may have survived and escaped." Commander Hollins said.

"We need to get the civilians we have on here some where safe until we find a way to take back Earth."

Kash nodded and pressed a few buttons to make the ship broadcast a S.O.S. message in the star system they are currently in.

Donny turned back to the girl and clapped his hands to bring her back into focus. "You're to call me Donovan. You'll start your training with me tomorrow at the far north of town in the training woods. Scott will show you there in the morning." He says before he starts walking off into the tree.

Scott rubs the back of his neck before looking to Ry for a moment "Ahah... Sorry he can be alittle intense sometimes. He's only 315 years old but he acts like he's an 800 year old hardass. He's still a pup compared to the other werewolves in the forest. Though we don't know much about the other packs except for a big one ran by a really strong Alpha called Atticus. Apparently he's a nice guy but we tend to steer clear to keep our family safe. We've run into afew of his pack members afew times, most of them are kinda irritable jerks or young idiots like me" He says with a big grin before he starts to walk around the village square. "But that's enough arbitrary stuff for now, world building can wait. What do you want to do for now?"

Duncan has no idea to what was going on with Scotti at the moment, but with Sam saying she was fine he smiles softly. Trusting his friend and her father figure to be right about that. Major cities across the planet are burning from the attacking alien fleet known as the Harbingers their ships bomb entire cities vaporizing them and killing innocent citizens. The smoke of the burning cities would block out the sun turning the bright blue sky to a dull and dark color as humans below scream in terror and fright as they try to escape their death.

With the Sol Republic's council dead the Sol Republic Military Union has taken control becoming a emergency government evacuations are under way to get the civilians off world. However, Harbinger walkers and ships are shooting down any transport shuttles trying to leave Earth and the other colonies in the Sol System. One small military ship however was able to break through Harbinger scans this ship was known as Spirit and the commander of the ship was war hero Rexana Hollins

-Bridge of the Spirit-

"We're almost to the Hyper Ring." Pilot Kash said as he started to punch in a few buttons into the ships control ready to use the Hyper Ring.

"Will that thing even let us go through?" Commander Hollins asked as she looked at the ring like object.

"I mean it did activate when Sword Fleet got near it has to work for us." Kash said as he position his ship.

After a while of waiting the Hyper Ring shot out a blue zap at the Spirit charging up its basic FTL drives and the center of the ring started to form a wormhole like portal in the center.

"Alright this is going to be a bumpy ride hold on to something!" Kash said as he punched the FTL activation making the ship go fast and through the wormhole.

\\\Random star system - Random SOS///

Within that desolate star system, far from their home that may or may not even exist anymore... The surviving ship would draw attention from something other than their intended listeners. On the far side of a moon, a ship was laying in wait. Though certainly not for them, the ship was laying there while its crews on the moon were mining minerals. (Command vessel: https://imgur.com/ubtg8F5)

Aboard the vessel they picked up the SOS chatter coming from within the system, the unknown aliens could tell that they were not the enemies they were watching for... But f they were calling for help then they were running from something...

So instead of revealing themselves they sent several stealthed shuttles to scope out the situation. Staying out of range while they stayed cloaked, not wanting to do anything until they knew what was going on... (Shuttles: https://imgur.com/3CTlOZz)

Back aboard the command ship that dispatched the shuttles, on the bridge an imposing figure stood above the rest of the crew... Their leader, but not a simple captain or even a Baron. This creature was a hybrid, one that was born for hopes of a grand and safer future. And this hybrid... Was a Kell of Kells. One of the other crewman moved closer to his Kell as he sat atop his throne overlooking holographic displays of the operations on the moon below and for the SOS signal. "My kell, the distress signal... The senders are more humanoids but they are not touched by the light. Much like the ones in the Immensus super system... What shall we do?[/i]"

The kell (Appearance: https://imgur.com/tbWQ3cD) sat forward in his throne before answering, swiping the displays aside as he sat up. "They are scared and running, they will be frantic and likely prone to outlash for the unknown. We will take things slow. If possible we will offer what aid we can if they need it. If not we will make sure they can get the help they need and send them on their merry way... And if they are violent. Then we will make sure they have a good battle before they rest in the embrace of the cosmos."

The other alien bows after the kell finishes speaking "As you wish Kell Stranek. We will continue assessing the humans to see if they are a threat... We should be getting a scan of their crew compliment soon."
