As many citizens of Minuda sit down in front of their television sets and turn on the TV, they switch over to their preferred channels, whether it be cartoons for children and adults alike, some new movie being streamed, a reality show, or even a music broadcast. The people of Minuda sat. But during this time, they were not glued to their seats because of their favorite cartoon, they were glued to their seats to get every bit of knowledge they could, for their own safety was at risk. So for the people of Minuda, who’s very lives were being threatened by mongrels to the West, their eyes were glued to Minudian Nation News. The only News station that cooperates close enough with the Government to deliver the people as much intel as possible during these trying times. To many, the logo and chime of MNN was a savior to these people, and from what the people have been hearing rumors about, this was going to be a very… very, special update…

“Welcome back to MNN! I’m Ashley Neal, and you’re watching ‘Update On The War Front!’

Now, as many of you know, three days ago the Metalvian’s launched an all-out assault on the Capital of Cohorse. Thanks to the bright minds and even more so devoted soldiers, a desperate defence and counterattack was launched right as the Metalvian lines thinned out. The stunning display of mechanized, motorized, and armored vehicles charging in under the safety of heavy artillery proved decimating to the thinned out Column the Metalvian’s had made as they desperately tried to march onwards to Cohorse. The last remnants of these pockets had either surrendered or had been destroyed just a few hours ago. Meanwhile, the Minudian push towards the Metalvian railway has been met with a staggering success, as a general revolt led by minor officers in Metalvian command led to the mass surrendering and defecting of almost 20k Conscripts, leading to an already broken defence on the Metalvian borders to crumble even further.

Meanwhile, in the North sporadic skirmishes have popped up as the retreating Northern Army Group engages in light clashes with the Montarcian forces as the entire front collapses, and several defected Metalvian Forces take back the land they were forced out of several weeks earlier. In the meantime the rear guard forces that were set up along the base of the Metalvian Column have since begun a hasty retreat to defend major cities and other routes to prevent themselves from being encircled, and engagements are expected to break out as Minudian forces continue pushing deeper into Metalvia.

To add onto this, we’ve been seeing reports of what appears to be civil unrest within the fringes of Metalvian society, where the toll of war and conscription has led to food shortages nation-wide. The latter of which has led to mass-protests in the many cities controlled by the Metalvian Insurgents. This has led to what has been described as a ‘ticking time bomb’, where it is only a matter of time until the people of Metalvia realize how pointless this war is and dethrone the traitors. As we speak the Minudian airforce has been carrying out hit after hit on less and less defended targets, neutralizing Metalvian High Command and gradually wiping out Metalvian pride for the war. Eye witness reports have also come in from claimed defectors, giving varying locations as to where the traitors of Eric Samwell and Ryan Mikael are, the likes of which both parties have been banned from Minuda for causing civil unrest and revolution.

A statement from Minudian Field Marshall Hickens has stated that he is currently in dialogue with several claimed Metalvian Military Officials, the likes of which appear to be independently seeking out an armistice to get themselves and their soldiers out of the chopping block when the war comes to its eventual end.
