In the early morning, the Naval Base at Port Arthur Vice Admiral Kimura Mitsumasa is aboard his flagship battleship FNS Maya, the Admiral Office is shocked to hear about the sinking of Nagatō, disturbed, he requested to join in with Asama and Hizen, hoping to aid them in a predicted losing fight, after hours of begging and pleading, the Admiral Office finally gave orders for Maya and Kasuga to help with the sinking mission, by now putting the entire navy battleship force into the fray.

The Naval Intelligence Corps have been building a big file on Seiran, even the launch of the battleship in 1943 and monitoring the sea travels via air and signals intercepts. They still didn't know everything, they didn't know how fast she was, her crew complements or what new sorts of technology the Ryuna had made, but they did know that she is enormous and advanced, outfitted with both heavy armor and over 420mm guns that could sink near anything the navy could throw at it.

Eventually the First Hunter Fleet and Task Force K have lost sight of Seiran since she uses her guns to scare off Mogami and Murasame. Asama, Hizen and several cruisers kept following their intended pathways as the two formation sends encrypted messages to each other while combing the rough seas, but worse comes into play, the weather is deteriorating, with fog forecast overnight. Seiran have probably broke their formation somewhere their radar can't pick up, waiting for the just moment to cover their dash to ambush or probably had returned to their base. But without haste, they continued their journey, coming up north and eventually meeting with a Transport Convoy, covered by FNS Nao and Akizuki, with the clear path back to Port Arthur, Nao broke off the convoy to join the hunt as she is the fastest warship in the navy armed with the deadliest torpedo.

Three days later, Kongō, Maya, Kasuga and the Cruisers joined the Second Hunter Fleet who was waiting for the battleship escort before sailing out in the afternoon. Meanwhile Mogami and Murasame spotted Seiran again, sailing at 27 knots and heading straight north, the chasing fleet are way behind them by several hundred kilometers but were able to intercept them by their extra 4 knots, Akira ordered the Task Force to force Seiran change their course, intercepting them at a T section battle. Without waiting, the two heavy cruisers fired their guns, the officer aboard Murasame silently waits as the shells traveled through the air, eventually slamming into one of their escort, startled, the rear guns of Seiran roared into the sky, followed by two High Explosives exploding aboard Murasame, severely starting a raging fire, Mogami broke off to cover her silhouette in the foggy evening, the forward guns of Murasame continued pumping out lead, eventually disabling two guns of Seiran escorts and knocking out their rangefinder, without them, Seiran fired blindly, but blind shots hit their mark as three more shells slammed right between the torpedo slit and flight deck of Murasame, igniting another fire which could blow the ship up.

Their tactic works however, since Mogami flanked them from Starboard quarters, they are making Seiran having to rely on her guns to do a full salvo barrage, Murasame slowed down to retreat from the battle and putting out the fast spreading fire, eventually leaving Mogami alone to shadow the battleship, and the First Hunter Fleet are almost at the interception point. Akira ordered his fleet to prepare high explosive rounds, thinking it would help in a long ranged battle, FNS Nao broke off to join Mogami on the shadow, going at flanking speed of 43 knots.

The battle between capital ships is nearing, will there be any survivors?
