Governmental revolt becomes official, PDP loses it's majority
In a move that apparently took the government by surprise, today in parliament 35 MP's have crossed the floor and have left the party, officially becoming independent. Rumours state that they are considering either joining the Socialists or forming a new party. The government has apparently been blindsided by this move, and they were currently in the process of talking to dissident MP's about their concerns about the nuclear program and the dithering around new funding programs for the welfare programs. The MP's are currently represented by the filler party the Anti Nuclear Front, and their spokesman has stated that they didn't agree to this in their manifesto, and have declared their opposition to the government. The opposition TUP are preparing a no confidence vote in the government to force an election, and the PDP are currently engaging in negotiations with the Nobles and the Socialists to create a temporary government before an election. The government intends to move forward with it's nuclear program, and further preparations have been made.

According to the Royal Palace, the King and his new fiancé has been in a comitted relationship for over a year; and met at a dinner at a mutual friend, Jakob Steinmann, the editor of the Foreign News section at VG.fn.
In this exclusive inteview, which will be published in full tomorrow, We get to know the story behind the relationship of the King and Ms. Lindberg.
Lindbergh was born and raised in Stoughton, Wisconsin; a town which is predominantly inhabited by decendands of Fosnian ex-patriots.
Her father, Christian Lindbergh is a lawyer who practices criminal law in Madison, Wisconsin, and is a distant relative of famous pilot and pioneer Charles Lindbergh, and a direct decendant of Ola Månsson; a Fosnian Farmer and former member of parliament who emigrated to the United States in 1860.
Her mother, Christine Freeman Watson is an Agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of the United States, out of Madison. She grew up in Madison; The daughter of former Wisconsin State congresswoman Rita Freeman (African American) and Walter Watson, a Policeman in Madison.
Ms. Lindbergh has two siblings, a Sister named Erica (25) who studies Political Science at the George Washington University in D.C, and a Brother, Christian Jr. (33), who works in New York Stock Exchange.
Ms. Lindbergh is 29 year old, and has chosen to quit her job in journalism, to not create any conflicts of interest between her occupation and her marriage to the Fosnian King.
The King has held an offical dinner to introduce his fiancé and her family to the Royal Faminly, which was kept last night at the Royal Palace.

An area in the Tokyo Port has been prepared for a "handing over" ceremony for the new aircraft carrier from the United States (Imperial Eagle). The JIMSDF is currently awaiting the arrival of the carrier.

"Look lively folks! I want this hand-off to go smoothly and with no foolishness." Vice Admiral John McCormick stated to the bridge crew and rest of the ship. Normally onboard his flag the Portland, he was forced to use the Merrimack due to issues with the Portland's engines. Looking off the port side, he saw the lumbering yet deadly form of the Preston Class Super Carrier that was being handed over to the JIMSDF and only wondered why they needed such a large vessel.
"Oh well, they paid for it and they're getting their money's worth with that ship and air-wing. Nothing we can't handle but God help the poor bastards that p*ss in their fruitloops..." McCormick said to him as they approached the port area, tugboats coming out to aid in docking the ships
Docking Bay for USS Merrimack, Tokyo Port
Japanese sailors lined the docking area on both sides. Down the middle walked Vice Admiral Hirayama Hirokichi, Admiral Kibe Fujio, and Grand Admiral of the Fleet Hiroshima Hidehira. They walked up to where Vice Admiral McCormick would exit the ship. Vice Admiral Hirayama and Admiral Kibe bowed deeply while Grand Admiral Hiroshima waited with a smile on his face.
McCormick walked down the gangway and upon seeing the assembled Japanese admirals, offered a salute before speaking
"Admirals, on behalf of the Union and the President, I hereby transfer command of this fine vessel you see docking before you. It is my hope that this vessel and her crew do honor to both their nation and Emperor and I look forward to seeing the fruits of their training in the near future."
Grand Admiral Hiroshima nodded. "She will, I can assure. As for you, on behalf of Lord Emperor Shimamoto and myself, we wish for you to attend the ceremony. That is, unless you have to be somewhere Vice Admiral." he said.

Former Chancellor Releases Civil War Memoirs Book
Sara Silvasi, the last Chancellor of the United Empires and former leader of the former Social Democratic party has today released a new book accounting her own experiences and perspective of the times leading up to the nations descent into anarchy and civil conflict.
The book, written in her native transylvanian language, titled "Cei Căzuți" or "The Fallen" launched last night and has quickly become a large hit becoming one of the most sold books in recent danubian literary history. Silvasi has also announced upcoming German and Hungarian translations of the novel and has confirmed her intent to contact foreign publishers in hopes of creating new localizations that can bring her book to a wider international market.
Silvasi now works as a humanitarian worker and peace activist, acting as the founder of the Silvasi International Peace Association which has been set up shortly after the end of the civil war. The organization has been a key promoter of the book and has worked since the end of the civil war in humanitarian and rebuilding efforts to bring the torn nation back together through public volunteers and donations while also announcing plans to spread their message of peace to the rest of the world through their experiences in the Danubian Civil War.
Silvasi has denied rumours stating that she may return to politics under either Mezsaros or Stauffer, stating that her political days are now over and she will continue to be an activist for peace and equality wherever she is needed.

Last night the Tsar and top military brass revealed a new medal. The Medal of Heroism, the new top military honor. The Tsar revealed the medal in response to an incident that he believed was call enough for a medal to live up to the actions by this soldier. The First Medal of Heroism was award to Russoslav Air Force, Master Sergeant Andrei Vladovich Volkov, here is the Tsar awarded the medal to his Widow.
"A few weeks ago, Air Force, Master Sergeant Andrei Vladovich Volkov, was deployed as a Ten-man team conducting anti-Insurgent Operations within close Proximity to the Soviet Union (Novaya rossiyskaya imperiya) against Soviet Backed Insurgents operating in the region. Sergeant Volkov and his Lieutenant who shall remain nameless for security reasons. Anyway They both were apart of the Air Force's Elite Marksmen Corp. They were atop a ride providing overwatch for the other 8 men apart of their team when they encountered enemy sniper fire which wounded Sergeant Volkov's Lieutenant. Sergeant Volkov while under accurate sniper fire returned suppressing fire attempting to pin down the enemy sniper.
Sergeant Volkov released that the position on the ridge was impractical when another soldier attempted to recuse Volkov's Liuentent was killed. As Sergeant Volkov and the team made their way down Captain Alexi Mikhailovich, was wounded and was stranded on the ridge. Sergeant Volkov with great risk to himself handed his lieutenant off to the Team Medic and went back up the ridge and rescued Captain Mikhailov. After handing Captain Mikhailov off to the Medic he grabbed his Liuentent's SVD, removed the Scope, and went back up the ridge.
Once more Sergeant Volkov risked his life to eliminate a threat to his team, he decayed the enemy sniper to reveal his position and with Iron sights from a reported 300 yards away eliminated the enemy sniper. Once he had eliminated the enemy sniper he scanned the area for more threats. He spotted 20+ hostiles on foot rushing their position. He ordered the rest of his team to hike up the mountain and dig in till help could arrive, he went on to tell them he will try to hold over the enemy.
And once again Sergeant Volkov put his life in danger to protect his teammates. He took his issued PKM Light Machine gun, an AK-74 Assualt rifle and as many grenades, he could carry and took position back on the ridge to hold the high ground from his enemy. He Bellowed "IN THE NAME OF THE TSAR" before opening firing on the unsuspecting enemy, catching them off guard. It was reported he killed 5 Insurgents before they took cover and returned fire at Sergeant Volkov, who was shot several times in the hail of enemy gunfire.
Despite being wounded, he kept suppressing fire up until he ran out of ammunition from his PKM, after that he took up arms with his AK-74 and resumed suppressing fire. He bellowed "IN THE NAME OF HOUSE MEDVEDEV" before lobbing grenades which killed 2 more insurgents. Despite the heavy fire from Sergeant Volkov and the mounting casualties the enemy proceed to move up the hill towards Volkov's position. Sergeant Volkov fixed his Bayonet and lobbed his last grenade killing 4 more insurgents.
However, Sergeant Volkov was shot again which caused him to slip down the slope. It was reported that he quickly inspected the wound. The Would in question was fatal, knowing this Volkov crawled to rock put down the remaining gear he had except his AK-74, 2 Magazines, and his APS. At this point, some of the insurgents had retreated or gone back for reinforcement, leaving 5 left as they continue to Volkov's position.
Volkov bellowed "IN THE NAME OF GOD AND COUNTRY" and opened fired. He drained his ammunition however killed two more insurgents. Sergeant Volkov then charged down the hill, reportedly bellowing like a mad man and ran his bayonet through another insurgent's chest Killing him. He drew his sidearm shooting another insurgent in the head before he was tackled by another enemy. They wrestle to the ground and Volkov manages to get on top of his foe and broke the insurgent's neck with his bare hands. As the insurgent gave his last gasp of life Sergeant Volkov collapsed onto his back and passed away.
Master Sergeant Andrei Vladovich Volkov embodied the Honor, Traditions, and Patriotism of the Air Force and his country. I can think of no better candidate for the Medal of Heroism then Sergeant Volkov. That gave his life not only for his teammates but for his Country and almighty God. Master Sergeant Andrei Vladovich Volkov, is an Extraordinary Hero and for that, he deserves the Medal of Heroism".

Today's top story, an illegal drug holdout was located last night by authorities in the Mimban Provinsi leading to the seizure of nearly 200 million methamphetamine tablets, more than 500 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, and 35.5 metric tons and 163,000 thousand liters of precursor chemicals used to manufacture illicit drugs. Fourteen individuals were also arrested, two of them being Rijken (Rijkenlandd) nationals; police used leads from the Pehang Regency drug bust a few months prior. Authorities believe that the Mimban Provinsi holdout being shut down will lead them to various other holdouts, helping to stamp out illegal narcotics in the Republic. Remember folks, the price for being in possession of illegal narcotics is a steep penalty and a minimum of five years in prison, with shoot-on-sight orders for known dealers and distributors, it simply isn't worth the price of your life. Grand Admirals Speech at Ceremony (As Heard in English Translation)
For over seven decades, Japan has been without a major flagship to its fleet. Ever since World War II, we have not had a true aircraft carrier. That changes today.
Over those seven decades, or so, we had gotten closer with our then enemy, the United States (Imperial Eagle). Now, we see them as an irreplaceable ally. To strengthen our already strong bond, a deal was put forth. That deal did not call for them to repay us for revenge that they were entitled to. The deal was for The Sensokiji, our new class of aircraft carriers. In America, for those who wish to know, it is named as the Preston-Class.
Some of you may be wondering why we decided to so such a thing. The answer is power. Without Hokkaido and Okinawa, we can be seen as not being complete and therefore not being strong. To that, I show this beauty of a behemoth. It shows power that we hold, and will plan to hold in the near and distant future. Together, Japan and America will have control over the Pacific and with our power, we will hope to bring peace, even if it requires making examples first.
Now, as you may have realized something I said earlier, you'll know what's planned. I mentioned plural aircraft carriers. In the near future, under will of Lord Emperor Shimamoto, we plan to work with America to have a domestically built aircraft carrier for Japan. This, however, is planned.
Finally, I'd like to thank the men from the United States who built this machine and those under Vice Admiral McCormick who chartered the ship here to our shores. In honor of them and America, and to the honor of Japan and Lord Emperor Shimamoto, BANZAI!

After last week’s devastating terrorist attacks, a confession video has surfaced. The video shows a man claiming to be behind the terrorist attack. The video was presumably recorded a few days before the attacks took place. It was recorded from one of the business towers in Kathelio , for it shows the Grand Palace in the background. The man in the video recalls the bombing of the trade tower in Cape town in 1996, for which a culprit was never found. The man continues by saying more attacks will come if the planned elections are to continue. If the elections are to continue fury will reign upon us and anarchism will reign supreme. After this the video is cutoff. It is still unclear if the man is part of a bigger criminal network. Officials of the Security Bureau comment that an investigation was launched and that a man hunt has begun to catch the man in the video. First minister Grapefield has said that the planned elections can continue, and he said that no man can stop our democratic process. He calls on people to go to the polls today and to vote according to their conscience.
It is expected that the Labor party will keep their majority. After Grapefield’s speech following the attacks his approval rating shot up and he is now expected to even win some extra seats. Later today reporting will follow on the exit polls after the voting booths have closed.
