The bank basically have 2 purposes, it makes sure so that really small new nations can't buy a zillion carriers and it keeps track on what weapons you have bought (so that you can't pretend you own tons of stuff you don't). Well, it also keeps track on liquidity (Odinburgh is richest).

Unless you are really small, you could handle your order with the bank manager and never log in on your account at all after but for you people that does: Please try to make one large order and don't spam his message box with small things all the time.
Preferably this is reserved for nations who either make huge orders (which is bothersome manually) or don't have access to a PC. If you just want to buy 100 jetfighters, it is easier and faster just to use the bank for it but if you want half a million you might want to forward to order to him instead.
