Around ten in the morning, The Tyronian Frontosa Party, or Tyronian Fascist Party, have stormed the Tyronian Congress in an attempt to seize power over the state. The guards of the palace were overwhelmed with the sheer numbers of the mob. Five minutes into the raid, four liberal politicians who were meeting with the President were thrown out of a window on the top floor with a bullet through each of their heads. The symbol of Tyronian Fascism was carved into their chest.
The military was called but refused to come, stating that the police could easily handle the situation. What they did not know was the majority of the police force had joined the raid. The President and six of his bodyguards had barricaded themselves in a room wuth a bookshelf. Exactly one-hour and eight minutes after the raid had begun, the door was removed and the bookshelf toppled. The six bodyguards were shot dead and the President arrested. The President apparently begged for mercy.
The President was given an option. Surrender and your family will not be harmed or killed, or we take the power from you and your family will be executed. He picked the first option and surrendered all power to the Fascists. The raid was deemed to be a waste of time but instead it would be one of the most important days of modern Tyronian history. This was the rebirth of a once great nation.
