Managed to get through knee surgery today. Even with pain...doing okay...though horizontal at this moment, I am not at room temperature!

Lost my prized "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy" title again :(

Hi, just wanna let you know that Vorceland will become nation of world's happiest people.

Nicely done! It can be real tricky keeping tax rates low. I only recently got mine down to about 20% (and I prefer it lower still).

Another riddle (though this is not one I wrote):

crystal chandelier?

All good guesses, but not the expected answer. I'm quite fond of this riddle, so I'm glad it didn't fold over immediately like my personal attempt did.

Well done!! And I just imagine you essentially ruling Earth XD

What does everyone think of my nation? Would you like to live there if it was a real country? Just curious x

While your nation and mine share many things in common, these are the reasons I would not wish to live there:
1. Your death rates include a 0.6% rate of suicide while in police custody, which is deeply troubling.
2. Your feudal and monarchial system. Such systems are incompatible with the recognition that all sapients are created equal. While Aelyria does not see titles as inherently wrong, in context, this implies ossified social hierarchy, which is a concern.
3. The "mandatory" Libertarianism classes. A nation that does not respect its citizens' right to choose their beliefs is inherently difficult to accept.
4. The punitive taxes and overall preference for state-run economics. This is less a direct concern, and more an extension of #3 into specifically economic concerns.
5. The absence of protections for the right to protest in the nation's policies is deeply concerning, particularly given the preceding 4 points. It implies that the system does not permit criticism or change unless it is convenient to do so.

Overall, it's not the worst by a long shot. If you had public healthcare, I probably wouldn't mind living there overmuch, though I'm afraid "I wouldn't mind" is nowhere near good enough that I'd want to leave my homeland. The US may be flawed as hell, but it's my beautiful home and I really don't feel like leaving.

"Eats shoots and leaves" or maybe "Eats, shoots, and leaves"?

You looked so far into it, I am actually amazed! And I'm trying to fix a lot of my nations mistakes and accident that came along the growth...But it takes time :P

Also, the USA may have its flaws, but it also has some amazing places and has been the birthplace of some great ideas x

Doing mighty fine! Haven't been on here in a long while, but glad to be back! I guess my Nation of Hokkyuzairan got sent to the Boneyard, but I hurried and Revived it and I magically teleported here! Glad to be here! Looks like Balder is seriously building up its influence across this Vast World!🙌🏆

Yes, go to your "Settings" tab at the top of your nation's page, scroll down to the green "Telegrams" tab, and click on it to make your preferences.

I hope everyone and their nations are doing well. Being a leader is hard work and our work is never done!
