The Sovereign Federation of Cordya is considered a federal constitutional republic, complete with the Code of Liberties and the Free Constitution. These two documents lay out the foundation of Cordya's government as well as the rights, powers, and limitations that define the Cordyan body. The executive branch consists of the Head of State and Government of Cordya, the Chancellor, alongside the Four Deputies who act similarly to Vice-Presidents or parliamentary Presidents/Prime Ministers. The legislative body of the Federation is the Federal Congress, further divided into the House of State Deputies, consisting of 150 seats, and the People's Chamber consisting of 500 seats, both of whom decided the law of the land. The judicial body is the High Judicial Court, ruled by 13 "justices" to ensure the constitutionality of the law.
The Chancellor, as stated, is the Head of State and Head of Government. They are responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws of the Federal Congress. The Chancellor also has the power as Supreme Commander and Chief of the Cordyan Federal Defense Forces. A singular term is 5 years, with a maximum of 3 terms.
The Deputies refer to chosen, elected members who act as the Chancellor's lieutenants/second-in-commands/advocates. While the number varies from Chancellor to Chancellor, it is usually agreed that no less than 3 and no more than 5 are allowed to be appointed as deputies. This evolved from when the first Chancellor, Sairas Brendan, appointed his fellow revolutionaries Quentin Reese, Albert Ford, and Alasdair Oswald as the first Deputies. Another purpose of the Deputies is to ensure a line of succession in the event of the current Chancellor being indisposed.
The current Chancellor is John Eleazarsson Stirling.
The current Deputies are Satsi Coyce Rades-Reschaffer, Joseph T.W. Lee, Clover Mandinus Löwehr and Theobald C. Perkins.
The Federal Congress makes up the main legislative branch, where each state is represented in two houses: the House of State Deputies and the People's Chamber.
The House of State Deputies is, more often than not, seen as the higher authority and as the "Upper House" more than the People's Chamber. Consisting of 150 seats, there is always at least 1 seat for every State Deputy of a federal state. At times it has always been expanded to include newly-admitted states of the Federation. All 150 seats are represented by the House Advocate.
The current House Advocate is Henry Ayon.
The People's Chambers, often the lower house, is a bit younger than the House of State Deputies, and represented a broader audience. Ranging from labor unions and village councils to local state representatives and corporate big-wigs. Often seen as the lower of the two houses, it has struggled to pass the will of the people. That does not mean it is powerless or useless. It has had, on various occasions, managed to get it's way. All 500 seats are represented by the Speakers.
The current Speakers are Samuel C. Amam, Ethan E. Holliday and Mark M. Lane.
The judicial branch is headed by the High Judicial Court. At it's head are 13 justices who decide what is constitutional or what isn't, to check if the other two are acting within the Code of Liberties and the Free Consitution, and to settle disputes on a national level.

A small primer I did for my government.
Quite honestly I'm never really a fan of Germany paraphernalia, but strictly speaking in terms of design, yellow does not work here. The only times yellow works with a flag is in combination with bright reds and blues, and sometimes royal purple if it's not too tacky.
