The old Lord Tsukuyomi has been really paranoid with the Chinese doing their shenanigans on the Moon according to our officials who last met him several years ago. We're almost sure in this desperate time he would disregard the whole purity thing for the defense of the moon. I mean they did try to take Kaguya and Lady Yagakoro back from impure banishment once if I recall correctly.

The lunarian ascendancy almost looks like the legitimate Lunar Capital but many refugees have warned us about their disturbingly destructive policies against their own people.

Seeing The pure lunar capital itself attempt to reach out to the world is a miracle for our rump state, but we don't know whether or not if this is just another ruse carried out by that one crazy mom who almost destroyed the Capital.

For now, the junta has unanimously agreed to consolidate the state before any new attempts of communication, so that we could prepare ourselves for anything that happens.
