On to another topic, I was going to publish all the nations who either died in our region or went somewhere else and died. But to my dismay there are 101 nations on the list! What are we, the NS graveyard?? Imagine if they were all still here!

Here's one thing in common with all 101: those that had more than one word in their name never capitalized the second word. Like, for example, "North end" instead of the proper "North End." Strange.

So I decided to publish them in waves. Here are the first 20. Does any one remember them?

I remember watching The Haunting when I was a kid. I was in the living room and I wanted to fetch my pillow from the bedroom. I ran there and back, absolutely terrified, suspecting there were ghosts everywhere.

A couple of weeks ago I relocated to Gypsy Lands. I was asked if I was staying, and I said "I hope so". I am now about to leave, perhaps on a temporary basis, perhaps not. Let me explain rather than just leaving.

I am a search nation, a puppet of another nation who is unhappy with the decline of their current region. I'm looking for a region that my main and their other puppets will enjoy. I don't know whether Gypsy Lands will work out for that or not, but I do know it's not really what I was looking for. So I am going to leave to follow other leads. If those don't work out, I will probably be back, to try to get a better feel for what this region is all about and whether there is fun, or at least regular virtual meals, to be had here.

There is another possibility too. The personality of this nation is very similar to that of my main, which means there's really no reason for the two of us to share a region. So even if I find my -topia elsewhere, this nation might come back here to settle down. But, as they say, prediction is very difficult, especially of the future.

I had to google Percy Jackson.
But it paid off. I was happy to find out Greek gods speak English.
They are Greek...but hey, they are gods, they must have arrived in the New World sidestepping Ellis Island. Moreover...being gods, they must pre-date the Mayflower. And Columbus. In fact, Poseidon didn't need to travel at all, of course. From the Aegean Sea to the mouth of the Hudson River he is pretty much everywhere.
I imagine the gods probably like pizza too, and go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to look at ancient sculptures of themselves - gods are vain, everybody knows that.

I understand the concept. Legend has it that the city where I was born was founded by none other than Odysseus himself.
