Resumption of WAD Status
Following the unexpected entrance of a 'Tornikian delegation to the World Assembly during an important debate on the matter of 'Requiring Promulgation Of National Laws', the German delegation to the World Assembly has been granted the status of the official regional WA delegation. The German Government has released a statement following this unexpected turn of events: 'We thank our allies of the great nation of Rototornik for restoring the status of our delegation to the World Assembly by endorsing our delegation, despite their previous objections to the idea of sending a delegation to the World Assembly. Our two great nations are now more intertwined than any point in history prior and we will surely work together with Hayees to continue the Otorisian project.'

RTCM Media Group d.o.o (a division of Eos News & Media d.o.o) have announced yesterday that it has fully acquired TV6 Media Group's 50% stake in TCM Hayees d.o.o (Hayees Media Group), giving it 100% full ownership. RTCM executives have said to us that the full purchase will enable the company to continue serving audiences as much as possible, despite the COVID-19 pandemic in which it causes it's revenues to drop a little bit.

Meanwhile, RTCM Hayees d.o.o has moved the free-to-air frequency of TCM Hayees from channel 3 (digital channel 3.1) to channel 2 (digital 2.1) and it has required cable/satellite TV providers in Hayees to move the channel's cable channel position from channel 3 to channel 2 as part of its efforts to improve the channel's coverage throughout Hayees. At the same time, RTCM have also launched a full-time, free-to-air simulcast of Eyewitness News 24/7 (with local opt-outs) on digital channel 2.2 (for digital viewers) as part of it's efforts to help expand the network's free-to-air reach into many places throughout the Otoris (Eos) region and to help target more potential viewers.

Lastly, Digital+ Media d.o.o (a division of Eos News & Media d.o.o) have announced today that it will partner with RTCM Media Group d.o.o to launch Streamy (the company's first pan-Eos OTT service) in August 2020 as part of its efforts to help target cord-cutters and millennials, who are tired of paying too much of shows. RTCM executives have said to us that viewers from all across the Otoris (Eos) region (regardless of location) will be able to stream some of their favorite channels like TCM, TCM 2, TCM Eos, TCM 2 Eos, EA.TV 10 (Kingston-Atlantis), EA.TV 21 (Central Macedonia), EA.TV Eos, Eyewitness News 24/7, TCM Family for free starting in August, while it plans to launch a premium suite (to be known as Streamy Premium) by the end of September 2020, in which it will enable viewers to stream more additional channels (like ESN, ESN 2, TCM Cinema, TCM Freeform, TCM Diva, MSNBC, Discovery Channel, FX, Bravo, Lifetime, Food Network) and to stream thousands of full-length episodes of their favourite shows (as well as thousands of movies) at a fair price of R7.95 per month.

RTCM executives have said to us that Eyewitness News 24/7 will serve as a extension to the Eyewitness News brand by enabling viewers (who are living in Central Macedonia and the Otoris (Eos) region) to catch a daily dose of local/regional/international news headlines, business reports, sports news and traffic/weather updates at any time during the day so that they don't have to wait until either 6am, 12pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm or even 10pm (when we air and produce them on TCM, TCM Eos, EA.TV Eos), just to catch them.

For now, Eyewitness News 24/7 currently broadcasts to pay-TV subscribers on channel 24 (in addition to it's existing free-to-air simulcast on channel 2.2 in Central Macedonia and on channel 10.2 in Kingston-Atlantis), while RTCM plans on extending the channel's free-to-air reach throughout the Otoris (Eos) region so that free-TV viewers can be able to get their news at anytime.

Meanwhile, RTCM executives are planning to extend the Eyewitness News brand to radio by either rebranding its radio news service (RCM Radio News), launching a regional 24-hour all news radio station, or by converting one of its existing stations in Central Macedonia into a all-news station so in a effort to target younger audiences and to bolster the company's reputation as being Central Macedonia and the Otoris (Eos) region's leading source for news/information.

The Otoris Question
Following increasing Otoriphobia in Germania - as evident by an increase in the votes for the Independence Party, as they went from 0 seats in the Bundestag to 6 seats - the question has been raised in the Bundestag on the so called 'Otoris Question'. Otorisceptics in parliament have been asking whether or not continued membership in Otoris, a region that no longer commands the strength, unity, or influence that it once used to, is a fundamentally beneficial or detrimental thing for Germania. Otorisceptics argue that the lack of wider trading opportunities within the bloc as well as the lack of real power by the Central Otorisian Regional Government to make region-wide decisions and continue to propel economic growth in nations - a role now largely taken over by the Hayeesian and 'Tornikian states as most economic power is commanded by these superpowers. It's argued that continued membership would only stand to hinder continued progress in Germania. Paralysis in the Regional Government in stemming the flow of migration of nations out has caused intense criticism for the region from even traditional supporters of Otoris inside Germania.

On the other hand, it's argued that membership of Otoris has promoted stability and security in the nation as well as giving Germania the opportunity to become a regional power within Otoris - and so it's argued that Germania now has a chance to serve a pivotal role in the rebuilding of Otoris into a great region once again.

We will keep you posted as the situation develops in the Bundestag, though rumours have arisen that Otorisceptics have formed a committee to discuss the possibility of legislation to take Germania out of Otoris.

BREAKING! All-Party Parliamentary Group formed on the topic of German Withdrawal from Otoris
Announced just a few minutes ago by the Leader of Her Majesty's Most Loyal Opposition, Otto von Mackensen, that a Cross-Party group in the Bundestag has been formed in order to represent Otorisceptics across the Bundestag and possibly start formulating a piece of legislation that will start the process of organising a referendum on Germania's membership in Otoris. This group will be known as the Parliamentary Group on National Sovereignty (PGNS).

Current polls put the split in Germania at a shockingly close 45 - 55 against leaving Otoris. Just this time last year, polls put it at 30 - 70 - a much wider margin that is possibly owing to years of prosperity and stability with Regional Government oversight.

It's largely believed that the NWP and the Liberals would both be campaigning on the side of the 'Remain' camp, while there have been MPs from the German Conservative Party, the National Party, the Green Party, the Socialists, and the Independence Party that have been believed to have joined the Parliamentary Group on National Sovereignty (PGNS), though there have been rumours of some NWP and Liberals also planning on joining the Cross-Party group - particularly MPs who represent constituencies that have polled that they would vote Leave in a referendum on Germania's membership in Otoris.

BREAKING: Otoris Referendum Bill tabled by the PGNS!
After weeks of PGNS discussions and debates surrounding the formulation and possibility of passage of an Act of the Bundestag to call a referendum on Germania's membership in Otoris, a motion has been officially tabled to allow for preliminary discussions and a debate on the Bill. It's believed that they will be pressuring and lobbying MPs that represent so-called 'Leave-leaning' constituencies to vote for the passage of the referendum bill, as they lack the sufficient numbers at the moment in the Bundestag in order to pass the bill without any cross-party support.

The debate on the legislation will start on Monday at 10AM, but with passionate pro-Otoris and anti-Otoris MPs in the Bundestag, we expect the scrutinising and reading over process to stretch far beyond the original timeline of a week.

The Bill contains the intended goal when negotiating with the Otorisian Regional Government for a smooth and 'clean-break' exit from Otoris. It's now been made clear to the general public as well as the media that German exit from Otoris, coined as 'Gexit', will clearly be the most extreme form of exit that Germania can pursue if the government is forced to do so according to the bill. Otherwise, it's widely believed that a 'softer' form of 'Gexit' is preferable amongst the general population who would vote to leave though there remains a majority of the populace who would vote remain in a hypothetical referendum - rejecting any form of 'Gexit'.

BREAKING: Otoris Referendum Bill Passes through both Houses of Parliament
Following weeks of debate in both chambers of Parliament, it has finally come to a vote in the Bundestag. With a majority of just 1, the bill has successfully passed through the Bundestag - with most parties granting their MPs a 'free vote' on the matter - and now the government will be in charge of setting a date for the referendum on Germania's future in Otoris. There were several NWP MPs and Liberal MPs who voted for the passage of the bill, while the confirmatory hearing in the Bundesrat passed without much trouble - despite the large amount of NWP and Liberal Lords in the Bundesrat.

Although, current polling suggests the 'Remain' vote will win a majority of 5.6% though this is an ever shrinking figure as more and more polls have been conducted - suggesting an even tighter race than previously anticipated.

It's widely believed that both the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor will be campaigning on the side of continued German membership of Otoris, though this is still unclear. There could yet exist a gentleman's agreement between all the major parties that their party leaders won't be leading either side of the campaigns.

Date announced for #Gexit Referendum
The Bundesregierung has announced today that after much deliberation within the Bundeskabinett a finalised date for the referendum on Germania's membership of Otoris. The date chosen is the 2nd of July, a date memorable for the Battle of Berlin - a battle in which German forces decisively recaptured the Bastion, Fort Hauburg, in the centre of the Old City in Berlin. It's thought that the date has been chosen after pressure from Nationalists in the Bundestag and in the governing parties, and it's thought that the date itself and the meaning was chosen to spur nationalist sentiment within the average German, thereby blowing a decisive swing in the favour of the 'Leave' vote.

Key Campaign Groups
The 'Stronger Together' group has established itself as the main group within the 'Remain' camp, while the 'Sovereignty Now' group has established itself as the main group within the 'Leave' camp. It's believed that the key figures of the Remain camp will include several high profile ministers within the Bundeskabinett - though the leaders of both the NWP and the Liberals appear to be staying out of aligning to either camp - and the key figures of the Leave camp will include several high profile members of the German Conservatives and the Nationalists, although the high profile members of the Independence Party appear to have been largely shunned by most of the Leave camp due to the public perception of their party - that it's an extremist and xenophobic group. Despite this, their leader Mr. Franz appears to already be on the campaign trail - with many advertisement boards showing adverts paid for by the Independence Party on behalf of the 'Leave' camp.

Stronger Together
Following the launch of the Remain campaign, one cabinet minister has emerged as a leading figure of the camp following the neutrality of both the Liberal leader and the NWP leader. One Mr. Otto Stressemann has emerged as a key figure within the Stronger Together campaign.

As the foreign secretary, he has previously been in charge of the negotiation of the NOTA alliance - a landmark alliance tying Germania to the Hayeesian and 'Tornikian states - as well as being in charge of the German delegation to the Otorisian Regional Government. Having held such important roles in Germania's foreign policy, he speaks with passion as well as from experience regarding the Otoris Question and any possible solutions to it that would leave Germania in a better position.

While in government, Mr. Stressemann has helped write pieces of legislation that have helped to guarantee the welfare of German Citizens as well as to give stability to millions of Germans - with the Equal Working Rights bill (2028), which helped to better the lives of the everyday German - with changes to the overtime (OT) system as well as to give better job security to most Germans.

The fact that he, a leading member of the NWP, has decided to back the Remain campaign will surely give the Remain campaign a boost in the coming weeks due to the public perception of him as a professional in the Bundestag as well as abroad.

Sovereignty NOW!
Following the launch of the Leave campaign, a former cabinet minister has emerged as the leading figure of the camp following the neutrality of the German Conservative leader. One Mr. Alexander Hölenstein, a former member of the NWP who defected to the GCP following a mass rebellion of the NWP's far more extreme Conservative factions. As the former Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, while Mr. Hölenstein has experience with the social welfare system in Germania and various labour issues, he seems like the far more unsuited key figure compared to Mr. Stressemann.

As Minister of L.S.A., he had been in charge of the change from separate individual benefits that one could claim to a united single benefit system - Comprehensive Benefits (CB) - which, despite early signs of success in reaching more Germans who were in need has proven to be a failure point in Government, as it has left the most needy behind. The experiment was such a failure that the first Lib-NWP Government, in which Mr. Hölenstein was kicked out of the NWP, had pioneered a new system that completely replaced CB.

Though Mr. Hölenstein did not have an overall success while in Government, his work outside of Government in establishing the Riemann Group within the NWP - and then moving it over to the GCP - was a key point for Otorisceptic MPs in Germania. As the Riemann Group was a cross-party group that was blatantly Otorisceptic (A single-policy group), it allowed the flourishment of debate and of the idea of Otoriscepticism. As such, it could be argued that Mr. Hölenstein's work in Government and in the Bundestag has more to do with the Riemann Group - and it's success in passing the bill to hold a referendum on Germania's membership of Otoris.

Although despite this, public perception of Mr. Hölenstein remains bad, as he is seen as the one who put many Germans in danger of not being able to support their own families. Therefore, it's expected the Leave Camp will have to seek better figures to lead them if they wish to win the referendum.
