Also I wanna actually finish an EU4 game as a European country... anyone have suggestions? I generally play smaller nations like Friesland or Savoy. I like to work my way up to power.

Antenion, if I may, I suggest you move back your nation here, my friend, if you want to assume your MP position. You may also bring in a puppet nation and get it verified. Otherwise, you can lose your MP status.

Yup, that's fine. As long as you leave one of them here (preferably your WA one, but the choice is yours), you'll be all set.

EAST SIDE STORY
A Thaecian Musical Inspired by Auphelia and West Side Story

It should be noted that this story is entirely fictional. If any parties involved take offense to their characters, contact me.

ACT I

Two rival political parties, the Pirates and the Progressives are hard at work vying for control of one of Thaecia’s most competitive congressional districts. (“Prologue”) One of their debates descends into a brawl, which, in turn results in factless argument, which then results in the Fact-Checking Police, led by Saint ryvern and Islonia into breaking the kerfuffle up. Later, the Progressives brainstorm sure-fire ways to win their district. Their leader, Andusre, suggests a *special*debate, guaranteed to swing Pirate votes. He decides against notifying the leader of the Pirates, Cerdenia, to it. Andusre then suggests that the political party should welcome back one of it’s old members, Titanne to help them in the election cycle. The other party members are unsure of Titanne’s loyalty and question Andusre, but he quickly shuts it down. (“Progressive Song”) Andusre finds him, and Titanne is glad to join, and goes further to tell how he thinks the party will do in elections, which is very well (“Good Things Are Coming”)

Meanwhile at Pirate Headquarters, the brigadiers are discussing their swashbuckling, head-turning plans for the election, and we meet Arirang hill, who is a party member, alongside Fishergate. Arirang hill works at Pirate Pete’s Pizza Palace, the official restaurant of the Pirate Party, under the supervision of Fishergate. He has just arrived from a different region that had collapsed, and is struggling to make ends meet. He is in an arranged partnership with fellow pirate Saint alban islands, but reveals that he doesn’t like working on politics with him. Fishergate, eavesdropping as always, suggests that he attend the Pirate’s annual MixNMingle, where he can meet other notable Pirates. Unbeknownst to them, that’s when the Progressives plan on holding an impromptu debate.

At the MixNMingle, Andusre challenges the Pirates to the debate, and Titanne and Arirang hill, who aren’t participating, meet and discuss life at their two different political parties. Cerdenia spots this and drags Arirang hill home, returning just in time for the debate to begin. (“The Debate”) Titanne then follows Arirang hill home, and serenades him to get him to come out of the Pirate Pete’s Pizza Palace. (“Arirang”) Arirang hill appears at the Drive-Thru window and the two discuss a bipartisan plan to make the region a better place. (“At The Drive-Thru”) Meanwhile, Fishergate and Saint alban islands debate whether Thaecia or their old region was better. The latter yearns for the old place, while the former loves Thaecia. They ultimately decide that Thaecia is the BEST. FOREVER. (“Thaecia”) Andusre, slightly disappointed by the turnout to the debate, spreads the word of a rematch at Pirate PayPal (Yes, the Pirate Party BOUGHT PayPal)

The two groups later meet there, and the Progressives arrive slightly early. Andusre tells the them to let out their aggression towards the Pirates now, so that Saint ryvern doesn’t come after them. (“Cool”) Little do they know, Saint ryvern is already searching for them. The groups then decide on the rules for the next debate. The next day, Maria is in a very happy mood at the pizza shop, as she anticipates seeing Titanne again, and working on a solution to Thaecia’s problems. However, he learns about the upcoming debate from Fishergate and is dismayed, believing that it could ruin the chances of fixing things. When Titanne arrives, Arirang hill asks him to steer the debate away from aggression, which he agrees to do. Before he goes, they dream of their plan’s implementation ("A Better Place"). Cerdenia, Titanne , Arirang hill, Fishergate and the Pirates, and Andusre and the Progressives all anticipate the events to come that night ("Tonight Quintet"). The parties meet in an auditorium and, as the fight between Cerdenia and Andusre begins, Titanne arrives and tries to direct the conversation away. Though Cerdenia taunts and provokes Titanne, ridiculing his attempt to make peace, he keeps his composure. When Cerdenia pushes Titanne, Andusre attacks him non-factually, but verbally, in Titanne’s defense. The two then get in a fight ("The Big Rumble"). Then, in a SHOCKING twist, Saint ryvern arrives and arrests all of the debaters in the name of fact-checking law.

ACT II

Meanwhile, Arirang hill, oblivious to the prior night’s events, sees Fishergate who tells him that Titanne failed and that Cerdenia and Andusre are in Fact-Checking Jail. Consequently, Fishergate is now running the Pirate Party, and that Marvinton, one of the TPU’s leadership council, is now running the Progressives. Later, Arirang hill and Titanne meet up, and Arirang hill is initially irritated, but soon becomes worried for the fate of the region. The two then dream of a better place, without the vicious politics. (“Somewhere Else”) Saint ryvern, having hit a dead end, discovers two Progressives lingering in the auditorium, but the Progressives, Ermica and Duras, are a step ahead. They trick Saint ryvern into heading to Thaecia University, where he is subjected to a dreadfully long Media Ethics seminar, from a former Progressive, The marconian state.

Meanwhile at the pizza place, Titanne and Arirang hill continue work on their plan, and it’s almost complete! Unfortunately, Fishergate arrives, Titanne dives behind the counter, and sensing that Arirang hill has been with a progressive, Fishergate launches into a tirade against the political party. (“A Party Like That”) However, Arirang hill talks about how far a compromise could go for helping the region grow to its full potential, and that progressives have the same endgame for the region. (“The Power Of A Compromise”) Moved, Fishergate reveals that Titanne is being searched for by Saint alban islands, who wants to keep him from campaigning by locking him up in a dungeon.

Fishergate then runs to find the rest of the Progressives, intending to tell them that they need to keep Titanne secure, but the Progressives taunt him about his politics, his flag, his hair, and more, and out of spite, he delivers the wrong message: Arirang hill has been shot and killed. Following that, Marvinton rushes to find Titanne, and tells him the “news”. At that point, Titanne moves on to present the plan, believing that it’s now or never, and that he should do it in Arirang hill’s honor. Arirang hill also heads to present the plan, believing that Titanne’s a goner. They end up running into each other at the auditorium, and present the plan together. (“Somewhere Else, Reprise”) The plan is a hit, and the parties realize that even though they don’t entirely agree, they don’t have to be mortal enemies. The East Side District is saved, Saint ryvern gets more funding for the Fact-Checking Police, and our story ends. (“The Big Finale”)
