His internal monologue was suddenly cut short by the pilot, who informed that the plane had just begun its descent.
When it stopped moving, the slightly nervous Tomasz cleared his throat and walked towards the exit. He was wearing the usual business suit, as he was not a soldier. Having left the airplane, he entered the car kindly provided by the Puczovskans and travelled towards the Bastok Palace, where the conference would take place. "This country has a somewhat similar culture to ours and is an extraordinarily powerful ally." Tomasz thought on the way there, "We could really use an embassy in here. I'll raise this subject when I come back."
After arriving, he was lead past the surprisingly numerous reporters that had gathered for this occasion. "This is a very important conference, all right." he reflected and went inside, all while discreetly admiring the stylish palace.
