Greetings all, SC here.

To those of you who are new - hello, I do indeed exist here and have mostly functioned in the background for some time now. Perhaps you encountered me in the application process - for your sake, I hope not :')

To those of you who are veterans, well, you know me.

Whatever the case, I'm sure we all knew this moment would have to come at some point. I'm sure I've been broadly forgotten in terms of RP - that's ok, it has been some 2 years since I posted anything meaningful - and surely many of you surmised I would simply fade away like so many others who have departed this region. No such luck - well, in the fading part.

The time has finally come, and I certainly owe it to this region - and my respect for it - to give a formal announcement of my secession of RP activities. For too long I have languished while doing too little, all the while having a history of disparaging those who did just the same, but did not have the title of 'admin', as I do. This time shall now come to a close.

From my introduction as that weird new guy who kinda pulled off the Olympics, to the AF-QP conflict, my near-personal war with EL that almost broke the region, and then the TCC days and beyond, I've enjoyed thoroughly my time within this region and it has certainly, in its own myriad of ways, proven formative over the past five years of my life. Pleasureful as well, to say the least - and for that I have to thank the bulk of you, those of you who have too, stuck with it through thick and thin.

But alas, I'm sure all vets knew it would come at some point, as it will for all of us; my time here has come to an end. I've wrangled with this problem for roughly a year now, but have finally cleared the last hurdle - my own reluctance and reminiscence - and have come to accept that my position on the map is perhaps better used by someone else at this point.

For fear of rambling on, I'll bring this to a conclusion, my point being made. Thanks for everything - everyone - and I look forward to interacting with you in the future. Unless you should force me, I have few intentions to depart the discord (I do, of course, still thoroughly enjoy my once-monthly rants and debates - your presence in this region signals we have at least one thing in common and that is interest in geopolitics), and I have full intentions to offer my occasional services to the Regional Administration should they desire them. Such a decision I leave to Labyrnna. Him, alongside Imperial Eagle, I'd like to single out as particular recipients of my respect and admiration, if not for what they do in sight of the region but indeed too behind the scenes. We've seen it all gentlemen, it was a pleasure to have you - and many others who I will not list for fear of simply listing everyone, here and departed - at my side through it all.

While I assign it a low probability, perhaps I will indeed return at some point in the future - I can still feel the drive occasionally - but for now, I will leave it to rest.

As my final formal diktat as RP coord - The rexist rijk you may remove Southwest China from the map.
