Oh, I misread it as ww2 instead of ww2-era, I guess the Japan thing kind of tripped me up a bit.

Anyways, my nation has a pretty good foundation based on my factbook, if the RP currently is pre-1800s that means that Sin Sekai has been formed already from a merging of the Republic of Sekk and the Kingdom of Karth (a war that occurred in the mid-1400s). So I'd probably choose to call it Sin Sekai in things such as a WW2 or Napoleonic era RP, with most things preceding that just being the Republic of Sekk.

I'd probably pick any island available on the map if I were to choose, as my country is an island country.
