The political parties of New Vinland are

The social libertarian party (Social Libertarian, economically moderate)
The Conservative Republican Party (Socially conservative [except in regards to LGBT rights] and economically conservative)
Green Party (Socially liberal, environmentalist)
Libertarian party (self explanatory)
Social Democratic Party (Social democracy)

Our current prime minister is Social democratic, while parliament has a social democratic majority with the libertarians and social libertarians being the main opposition.

The Conservative Republican Party has announced their candidate, Nikki Savannah (I'm using Nikki Haley's likeness and politics), the Social Libertarians have announced Michael Newsom as their candidate. Joe Carson is the Libertarian candidate, and Erin Bishop is the Green candidate.
