I was sobbing for that. I can't lie.

My dog also recently died, so anything animal related now sets me off completely. :'(

I've been there, twice, while I was in the navy. The movie Cocktail was filmed at Megan's Bay, on the opposite side of the island (we went to St Thomas both times) from the capital city. There's a gigantic open air market in town near where the boats come in. I remember seeing a huge iguana just sitting on the limb of a tree in the middle of that market. Trunk Bay on St John's Island (short boat ride away) has been ranked as the most beautiful beach on earth by National Geographic. I went snorkeling on a reef right off the beach and was really impressed with the water clarity. Beautiful place.

So what scene mad you cry?

Maybe I will share mine. hehe

In the recent movie Maestro, the scene where Bernstein was conducting the orchestra in a church, I believe it eas a piece by Mahler. By the end I had tears running down my cheeks, I was simply transported. My wife, who knows me better than anyone else, was surprised. But, really, Mozart does that to me, too, evoking an emotional response. And Joni Mitchell.

Have you watched Immortal Beloved?

A Beethoven movie with Gary Oldman? I have not. But since I like both Beethoven and Oldman, it seems like a good match.
