La Plata issues advisory travel warning and increased awareness for any similar case in La Plata
- La Plata takes seriously the health report from China. Indeed, La Plata is reminiscient of the 2003 SARS outbreak that caused many deaths, pressure on the health system and alot of fear for the population, especially from what was seen in Canada. La Plata announces the creation of Automóviles Platinas

President Mandrake announced pompously the creation of Automóviles Platinas! This new State-owned corporation is actually the refoundation of Industrias Aeronáuticas y Mecánicas del Estado (IAME), founded in 1951 and defuncted in 1968. This new company is the successor of the successful company that released the iconic and popular IAME Justicialista, a car accessible to every Argentinian and reminiscient of the Chevrolet models at the time. The new company, nicknamed "AP", is refounded under more modern requirements and production models.
The intention of Mandrake is to finally have a local production and local designs made for the Platinos and Platinas in their everyday lives. It is also a measure to ecnourage a greener Sustainable Initiatives of 1993, including an active turn to hybrid and electric cars at an affordable cost. La Plata is already the biggest Lithium and lithium-ion+ batteries producer of the world, with the Franco-Platinan Litiobaterias, and its easy access to the precious resource makes it possible for La Plata to finally achieve its major green turn as dreamed by Mandrake back in the 1990's. This green turn is also strategic and economic, as the less oil consumption the nation will have, the more export it will be able to do. The Petrochemical slavery approaches its end with a new electric era to come...

The Automóviles Platinas ( English: Plata Automobiles) is a State-owned company. This company works in the automotive construction and maintenance sector. It is present in La Plata.
History
Automóviles Platinas was first founded in 1951 as Industrias Aeronáuticas y Mecánicas del Estado (IAME) after the five-year plan of Juan Peron. This company produced cars domestically designed and udner license. One of the most important design was the 
Justicialista that proved that Argentina was able to produce its own design successfully. The company also produced successful motorcycles, tractors and pickup-trucks. The production was popular enough to lower the dependency of Argentina to foreign cars and importations. It was defuncted during the Junta that ruled the nation.
President Lionel Mandrake decided to refound that successful company in a more modern design and appelation. It is reminiscient to Ferrocarriles Platinos and its intended mission and origins. The "Made in La Plata" policy of the government also encourages this venture in order to reduce car importations. Although, this new State-owned company will not interfere in the free market, like the Railways company did. Its main mission will be to design locally cars and produce and sell them in La Plata and abroad. It is also a venture to reduce car importation by producing license of them locally for the car companies that did not have a factory in the nation yet.
