CK Winter Olympics
Event - Figure Skating
You walk towards a figure skating arena set up specially for the last event. The last event of the Winter Olympics. The last chance for nations to win their medals. The last event that could decide it all. You walk in to make out competitors practicing with grace and balance for their figure skating performance. Truly such a beauty to watch. You take a seat and wait for the final event to begin.
Hours later after the final event...
The Winter Olympics is finally over. You follow the huge crowds of people as they start to make their way towards the boat. Reminiscing all the events that have been done the past month and now it is time to go home. You step back onto the same boat that brought you to Creditopia on the very first day Olympics, setting out on your journey back to your homeland. You turn back and give a final glance at the Antarctican territory. The endless, rolling hills of crystal. Trees twisting up from the cold ground, and the snow gathering on the branches.
Sigh. Till the next Olympics. Then your eyes snap shut.

Hello there, Conch Kingdom! I was scrolling through my issues when I found one that I actually found intriguing:
Issue 61, regarding titles of nobility. I am fairly certain that selecting the option to instill titles would bring about the devolution policy, which brings me to a question: should Shiaya implement this?
It would be an interesting case lore and RP wise, as Shiaya is essentially an old nation with much medieval architecture still present, with rolling plains and hills and forest. Additionally, Shiaya was first formed by the union of 5 kingdoms to form a whole Grand Duchy, those same kingdoms serving as modern day provinces/subdivisions. So, do you think that devolution would work well with Shiaya? It is ruled by a Monarchy, and has high standards of freedom both politically and in regards to civil rights. In regards to RP, it would allow for a democratic population run at the local level with overarching laws and policies made my the Grand Duke or Duchess. In times of crisis or when needed, the representatives of the provinces could come together at Castle Sovosta with the Grand Duke and Duchess. So, what do you think? Yes or No to Shiayan devolution? I'm quite excited to see your responses.
It might also give you feudalism. I'd say go for it for your country. Even if I wouldn't do it for mine.

Good day Conch Kingdom. First off, thank you for reading this, and thank you for being a part of this wonderful community. I'm quite chuffed to announce that I will be running for Prime Minister in the coming October elections. So, my name's Dyrland, and I'm here to have some fun and hopefully win! In this dispatch I will be outlining what I wish to change/improve upon, how I will be changing/improving upon these things and a general overview of what I wish to accomplish as Conch Kingdom's PM.
I've been in CK since the Drewpocalypse in late March, and have experienced the fullest of what the game has to offer. From RP, to the community, I know what the people want, and what CK needs to flourish even more. I've experienced two Prime Ministers in my short time here, and they've been very influential to me, and my growth in this game. So before we go further into the campaign, I'd like to thank Supero omnia and Charville for being great role models for not only me, but everybody in CK. Anyway, enough rambling. Let's move on to Section 2.
These are all just basic things that I think could be changed quickly and easily. I honestly don't really see much wrong with CK at the moment, and think I'd prefer to rather not change too many aspects.
More little weekly competitions/questions. Like a question of the week. They would be posted on Discord, and on the RMB.
Every week, a 'Nation Of The Week'/ 'Conch Resident Of The Month' will be selected by me :) It'll be decided by how helpful they are to new players, how active they are, how nice they are etc. The nation of the week will be announced on Discord, and on the RMB. Also, credit to Charville for coming up with this idea before me, I just think that making the event weekly is a better option than monthly.
Every month, there will be a world event to spice up RP in the region (primarily Discord) An example of this could be a volcano, a cataclysmic earthquake, or even an organized rebellion in multiple different nations. It could be anything. I believe that introducing this to CK RP will benefit the seemingly stale and unappealing RP that is plaguing us at the moment (no offense to any people RPing right now, of course, or people who are enjoying the current RP). It would bring nations together, and encourage cooperation between everybody. As well as this, this event would bring in new RPers, as it is one of the more easier things to roleplay for new players. Of course, this will all be done by the RP mod, I will only be proposing this to them (current RP Mod is Cle Brait) and it will be their choice to employ the change, or not. For now, this is exclusive to Discord, but will eventually be implemented in the Conch Kingdom RP.
Use of the Conch Kingdom RP. I feel that this valuable resource is being wasted. We need to emphasize that this region should be used more often. This is so that non-Discord users have a place to RP their nation more easily.
RP Rules revision. As of now, the rules set in place are aren't exactly the most defined, and a lot of newer RPers seem to have trouble grasping them, as well as some older players not obeying them very well. The rules need to be clearer, and easier to interpret, as well as go into more detail about what is right, and what is wrong.
More emphasis on recruiting (in Discord). I know that it's not exactly the most appealing thing, and that CK has multiple dedicated recruiters, but a general push for more recruiting is needed. I will be trying to put in time to recruit myself after I put this dispatch out as well.
Winter Olympics/Summer Olympics. I've been thoroughly enjoying the Winter Olympics lately, and love what they bring to CK. I think more little, player-organised events would do the region good. Thank you Rex omnia for writing the Winter Olympics dispatches :)
Government Transparency Reports. These reports provide valuable insight into the happenings and inner workings of the CK government, and are a great thing to keep around.
Polls on Discord and NationStates. Polls help to strengthen the bond and communication between the government officials and everyday citizens of Conch Kingdom
Conch Photography Competition. I absolutely loved the photography competition. The photos were beautiful. I'd love to keep this going as a regular occurrence. Thank you Charville for coming up with that wonderful event.
AugustVision. This is a great event, and I can't wait to see more of it.
Movie Nights (on Discord). I'd personally love to see more movie nights. I, unfortunately, cannot stream them, as my PC isn't exactly the best equipped for such an occasion.
My policy on how government officials act and how they do their tasks/duties is simple; do what you're supposed to, and don't be an idiot. I won't interfere with your assigned job, and I also won't be breathing down your neck about it. You were voted in for it, and I will expect you to do it without needing encouragement. Overall, my policy is to let you do what you want to do. Be respectful to me and the members of Conch Kingdom, and I'll be respectful to you back.
To conclude this dispatch, I know that if I am elected PM of Conch Kingdom, then I will make a lasting change, that will hopefully encourage and influence future prime minister candidates, and how the region functions as a whole. Thank you for reading this, stay safe, and have a great day :)
