There isn't always a reason for anything. That being said, there is significance to this. The colors together reflect the nation's and the world's harmony. Blue is a soothing and serene color that symbolizes wisdom and responsibility. Blue is also calming and soothing. The white lines help to spread harmony by connecting the peace to the gray dull Earth. And the stars reflect each of my country's provinces. You should get 46 if you add them all up! ;)
