Try to stay active, you get stuff for gaining population, which you can only do if you stay active for a long time.

Also creating lore for your nation keeps things from getting boring. Writing creating and updating Factbooks accounts for most of my time on this site.

This poll is very timely, since the contents of my answer will become highly relevant in the future. *wink*

Re: Poll

If the Prime Minister passes away due to any variety of reasons while commandeering the office, the Vice Minister will take over the Prime Minister's office for the next three months. By the time the one month is up, elections will be held again.

The order for succession goes from Prime Minister, Vice Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Defence, Minister of Justice, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance and Trade, Minister of Energy, Minister of Environment, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Health and Sanitation, Minister of Education, Speaker of the House of Governors, Speaker of the House of Commons. The same terms mentioned for the Vice Minister apply to the rest in the order of succession.

According to the nation's constitution, at every major gathering where the entire order of succession is present, there is someone who will be chosen from the order as Designated Survivor. This is in order for the government to insure proper continuity of governance. They will be taken to an undisclosed location and will sit out the meeting.

In the case the worst happens and the entire order of succession passes away from any variety of reasons, the aforementioned Designated Survivor is automatically granted the position of Prime Minister.

The three month grace period is in order for the person inheriting the post to stabilise the government and the nation if needed, and to ensure a smooth transition of power between administrations.

Poll: am I late?

In the case of Emperor Marek's (rather likely) death, a member of one of Greater Morvonia's countless noble houses will be elected in his place.

Laver Island wrote:Is your local river also empty?

My two local rivers are:
1. the Filabrook. Turned into a sewer by Josheph Bazelgette.
2. the River Lea. Basically a glorified canal, runs through the Olympic Park.

In either case, no.

Laver Island wrote:Is your local river also empty?

Nope, full water as always. It’s either full or overfull so y’all can move to St Pete 🇸🇮

Laver Island wrote:Is your local river also empty?

No, it's full. Filled with car batteries, old box TV's, and large plastic bags of trash. 🏞

Towards the end where this Nahida glitches out and how the entire tree of Sumeru city starts disappearing makes me believe that something will happen to the leylines,
Like how Ei's second quest and Yae Miko's quest talked about the leylines and more importantly the memories within, and how the memories of the world can reappear due to that

So I'm thinking with that in mind that through the disruption of that irminsul tree the memories of Sumeru City will be totally messed up and that even Rukkhadevata's memories might return. The end voiceline of someone saying to forget them I suspect might be Rukkhadevata yes

Re: Poll

Poland-Lithuania uses a tweaked Westminster-style parliament. This of course means that all Cabinet positions, including the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, are MPs and therefore elected by their constituents.

Because of Poland-Lithuania's voting system, it’s near impossible for one party to govern alone, so coalitions are very common. The current coalition is led by the Social Democrats and comprises the Greens, the Progressives, and the Left. It’s a long established precedent for the leader of the second-largest party in the coalition be appointed Deputy Prime Minister. Currently that’s the Greens.

If the Prime Minister dies, resigns, is removed from, or otherwise leaves office, the Deputy Prime Minister (who is leader of the second-largest party in the coalition) temporarily becomes Prime Minister. This will remain the situation until the largest party elects a new leader who then automatically assumes the post of Prime Minister, and the former Deputy Prime Minister reassumes their old position.

This leads to the awkward situation where Government could be led by a party that isn’t the largest in Parliament (if it were to happen today, the fourth-largest party in Parliament would technically be the governing party).

tl;dr, the Deputy Prime Minister succeeds the Prime Minister... sort of

*Special Representatives are directly elected by the people of their region using an instant run-off system. They are legally required to be non-partisan, and are elected whenever a general election is called. They are only able to be removed via a ruling from the Supreme Court. In the case that a Special Representative resigns, dies, or is removed, the second-place candidate from the most recent election will gain the position. If they refuse the position, the third-place candidate will be offered the position. This will continue until either a candidate accepts the position, or all living candidates from the previous election refuse the position. In this case, a new election for that Special Representative will be called.

I assume that if the Prime minister resigns or dies, his party simply elects a new leader

been careful not to look too much into Sumeru storyline leaks, since there's a lot coming out from one very reliable source atm

What I am sure about is that the GAA right now is mostly the work of Kusanali. Kusanali hinted to us at the end of the GAA quest that she did a little tampering with the machine's side effects to bring us and the other four a good vacation.

So if the whole GAA thing is the work of Kusanali, then whatever mirage shtick is going on in Sumeru must be held up by Kusanali as well.

Also the trailer gives us the first confirmation that the ideals stated in the trailer are the ideals of the original archons, since Kusanali is apparently Goddess of the Flowers, whilst Rukkhadevata is the Goddess of Wisdom. Now it makes sense why Sumeru feels like it's regressive and contrary to the known ideals of Kusanali

Whatever it is, Al-Haitham (one of the presumed voices in the trailer, might I add) probably will be playing a large role in the Archon Quest if his line is anything to go by, but theres no telling when he'll appear as an in-game character tbh

As for the Archon Quest, evidently, it's split into at least 4 parts, which is a massive first for Genshin. Kusanali might appear playable after the 4th part, which might be 3.2

My local river is the Garonne, one of the main rivers in France, so no, it is not empty, but was really lower than usual until yesterday as we had some thick rain (the first rains in more than a month, yeah, we really had a harsh drought here in the South-West)
