Correction:
I see that I can't vote because I'm not in the WA.
Well, that's a bit annoying and ironic, since I'm sure that many people who would like to vote for option 1 can't, although the whole reason why they would do it is because they don't want to have to use the offsite forums, and therefore not have to use an E-mail address.
My point is, if I was in the WA, and therefore was obviously able to use my E-Mail address, then of course I would vote for a forum. But exactly because I can't/ don't want to use my E-Mail address to have access to the forums, I can't vote against that, since I'm not in the WA.

I'm sorry, but there's quite literally no other way to stop people from voting with all their secondary nations (only other option would be a vote on the forum, but that would probably be worse and still require email addresses). We are all in different circumstances which we should all respect, but it's overall pretty unusual for people to be online and not have an email address. I'm, quite honestly, at a loss for how to accommodate that.

Oh well, if the vote does turn out to be in favor of a forum, then I'm afraid that I'll have to leave the RP.
On a side note: Maybe try to explain in the poll the circumstances (that is, that people like me can't use the forums), since I'm afraid that many people who are voting right now do not know the context of what the reason of the creation of this RP actually is (which was to give people like me the possibillity to RP without using forums).

Well, I hope you realize that the moment the vote decides that we do it on a forum or discord, probably half of us in the RP (including me) will automatically have to leave the RP, at which point the RP is either dead or barely going on.

perhaps there could be an option where roleplayers have a specific header prefacing their posts? for example, all rp-posts begin with:

[roleplay post | to join, contact @so n so]

i know some confusion has risen from newcomers joining Europeia, seeing the rp's within our RMB, and either a) not knowing what is going on, b) trying to jump in, or c) thinking that's the norm.

what do u think, King HEM ?

I would personally be very glad if this was an option. We actually even had something similar once. But when our main leader somehow left and we got Lukania as a replacement, people seem to have gotten a bit lax toward the rules. But if it were enforced even by Europeia, then I'm sure that people would keep to the rule.

Option #2 ***RECOMMENDED*** — Give "the roleplay" a dedicated space on our offsite forum or Discord server. Roleplay leaders will get moderation power over their areas, and will have autonomy to set up structure that will make the roleplay much easier to follow along with and participate in. The roleplay will be advertised on the World Factbook Entry for new nations to be aware of, and it will no longer occur on the RMB.

Option #3 — Go back to barring roleplay on the RMB but don't set folks up with a dedicated space offsite.

I've said from the start, the RMB is a public space for everyone. So I want to hand a part of the decision-making off to the public. I will be setting up a poll to gauge popular support on all three options — though we reserve the right to hold a runoff vote or make the final decision in the event of an indecisive vote between the three options. 

I know there are a lot of regions out there, and I want to thank all of you for choosing Europeia. I also know there may be some not happy with all three options, but ultimately we have to do what's best for the most people, and I hope this helps us find a compromise we can all deal with.

WA membership is required to vote in the poll because it is the *only* way to prevent double-voting. If you don't want WA membership on your main nation, just create a secondary or "puppet" nation to join the WA for the purposes of casting a vote

It does; I just tested it because I was curious. You need to be logged in though (and be a citizen, unless that section of the forums is opened to those with validated accounts but no citizenship).

I protest with the fact of the attempt for abolishing the European RP organized by me.
We have a reason for that:
Max spots of 30 for spam reduction
Having a roleplay map for realistic roleplay.
