March 6 is tommorrow, and that means Founding Day is upon us! This is a big milestone for Europeia because it marks the date that our founder King HEM created the region that we know today. Europeia is now 15 years old, and still going strong!
To celebrate this event, the Executive has put together some fun events for forum users and gameside users alike. During the duration of the event from March 6 to 9, the following events will be run by the Ministry of Culture:
Europeia the Beautiful: A fun song and poem writing contest for everyone to enter! This event runs from the 5th to the 9th, so get your entries in while you can!

As we all know, Founding Day is knocking on our door?and what better way is there to celebrate it than with a patriotic competition? The rules are super simple?you simply write a song/poem that's about Europeia. It doesn't have to be a preexisting song/poem: even though you can edit a preexisting song's/poem's lyrics to fit the patriotic theme (any song/poem is fine), you can write your own creation if you'd like to!
The event starts on the 5th and will end on the 9th. The winner will be decided by a gameside poll which will be put up on the 10th; the winner's creation will be recorded by our volunteer, and will be broadcasted onto radio. You can post your creation right here. Keep in mind that you can only post one of your creations and that it must be written?voice recordings will not be considered.

There is a short trivia where respondents will be challenged to search the Europeian forums and archives for some interesting tidbits of our history. Europeian Nation Origins Competition: Challenge yourself to write a founding story for Europeia. This is completely a gameside event, so anyone can participate! The winner of the event will also receive a free legendary card!
Every nation has a story. Whether your nation is comprised of diplomatic homeland wranglers, long-suffering but still optimistic pilgrims, or something completely different, you represent a unique and valued part of Europeia's collective story. The focus for this particular event is entirely on you though.
As part of Europeia's 15th Founding Day celebrations, we're asking you to tell your nation's founding myth. What was the beginning of your nation like, and how did it end up in Europeia? There are no requirements for submissions except that they follow site rules. Submissions can be sent via telegram to The United Peoples of Centrism or Poseidon63, though we encourage you to share on the RMB as well so that other Europeians can appreciate your story too.
The winner will receive a Legendary trading card from the Europeian Regional Card Bank. Good luck!
But that's not all! Watch out for a bunch of entertaining radio shows run by the Ministry of Radio. On the forums, you will also be able to find some fascinating speeches from important members of NationStates and the Europeian community.
The opening radio show will be the Founding Day Presidents' Panel starting at 6:00 PM EST/11:00 PM UTC. Reflect on the past and get hyped for the celebration next week with five presidents of Europeia from our past and present! Listen on

Socialism simply takes more effort. When you put in some effort, your economy will be just as strong with very strong public sectors. I have a socialist puppet in which I'm ~120th in the world in average income of poor, ~390th in the world in average income, ~780th in Economy, and most of my industries are in the top 1% in the world (pizza industry is ~400th).
if getting 1 percent on a ranking was a speed run then I'd do pretty well. Just be a corrupt dictatorship.
I have 29 top 1% stats on two separate nations. Consistency & planning is key. Keep answering issues, and keep answering them with a specific goal in mind.
alright, but I used to have like top 2 percent pizza delivery and in like a single day it fell down to 5 percent, I was so close to actually getting in the top 10. (In Europeia, not in the world) how did that happen?
Your nation has been founded relatively recently, and industry stats are some of the most erratic statistics in the game, which means that your stats will go up & down. Just keep subsidizing & supporting pizza industries, and that should help.

Luckily, I don't think many people will be using Russian flags due to the situation.
