New International Economic Centre Ready to Open In Santiago

The Federation of Anzoania invites all nations to engage in trade agreements. Amidst rising calls for more foreign engagement has lead the government to ramp up its bid for global economic trade. In doing so we are establishing an economic centre in the capital of Santiago, All countries, are able to apply for the allocation of offices. From there we will definitely engage in economic relations. Our large mineral deposits and agriculture industries are poised to grow. Major imports of manifactured goods are more than welcome, and we will arrange meetings, and deals to secure such trade of the state, on this basis. We look forward in bringing shared prosparities to each of our nations. We hope this will encourage foreign trade to Anzoaniaia, amidst our economic slowdown. Recently a new Cooper mine was established which could potentially provide significant deposits of minerals, therefore it is in our best interest to trade such resourcees for prosperity, in moderation.

We believe that this could help drive a future of cleaner energies and so in the future we can focus on a much diversified economy. We wish to encourage tourism to our safe nation, the stunning Andes Alpines are something worth visiting, our friendly culture also. But more importantly we wish to venture out into the world also, so if you engage in such we will certainly encourage our people to visit your great nation.

News from Vicintia

Following our acceptance into the ICC the Federation has named Mahesh Sarabhai as the Vicintian representative to the ICC.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has opened a new sub department, The International Cooperation Council office.

The Department of Defence has announced the creation of the Rapid Reaction Group, the RRG will be formed with units from the Army, Navy and Air force to quickly reinforce an allied nation if it is assaulted. After that announcement the Vanguard Legion was the first addition to the RRG, formerly the Vanguard Legion was the reserve Legion tasked with quickly blocking any holes made in Vicintian lines should we be attacked by another Indian faction. The Vanguard Legion's old duties will now be carried out by the Ares Legion.

Requests for swapping embassies has been sent out to nations in the ICC who do not currently have one, we are ready to accommodate these new embassies in the capital city Mumbai. Our ambassadors should this be accepted shall be:

The Department of Foreign affairs has acquired the licence for producing the Steyr-Manlicher STM-556 assault rifle from Donau-Bundesreich which will slowly become the main assault rifle of the Vicintian Legion Both state owned arms producers and private within the Federation will be given contracts to produce them for the Legion. As is common practice with the Government, companies who fail to produce at the standard demanded by the government will have the contracts terminated. At the same time the Department of War has invested 3 million Rupees into the Donau-bundesreich led research into the HUSSAR tank.

Announcement on behalf of the Council of Military Affairs

The United Socialist States of Southeastern Asia has invited all member states of the International Cooperation Council to set up joint military bases in Southeastern Asia, for training purposes.

Soldiers of the People's Army of Southeastern Asia will be training their ICC counterparts in efficient jungle warfare, and in return will be receiving training in using modern equipment. This will hopefully modernise the People's Army of Vietnam which has somewhat stagnated in terms of military equipment and tactics.

Green Initiative Sees Further Development

Following the recent legislation from Versienna regarding the strict ban on logging to preserve the national rainforests, numerous companies including the giant Corporate Alliance have all begun to invest in a popular timber alternative - bamboo. With bamboo growing exponentially faster and regularly yielding larger harvests, Eulumian companies across the nation are quickly hopping aboard the bamboo frenzy in order to get in on the rapidly growing market. Being seen as an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional timber industries, Versienna has given the green light to utilize designated already deforested tracts of land for bamboo production. Versienna has severely restricted the usage of pesticides and chemicals on these new bamboo farms, fearing the chemicals may seep into water tables below the grounds' surface or even begin to poison nearby ecosystems. Versienna has banned the usage of coal or petroleum burning machines in the process of bamboo harvesting; in addition to this, bamboo has been shown to absorb 12 tonnes of carbon dioxide per hectare per year, helping to reduce Eulumia's carbon footprint especially in the wake of previous slash and burn tactics that were previously used on Eulumian rainforests. The Eulumian government believes that the wide scale switch from traditional timber to bamboo will help to reduce the nation's carbon emissions and provide sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives at a faster rate, not having to sacrifice a portion of the Eulumian economy.

Furthermore, the Eulumian Senate has passsed legislation banning the use, import, and manufacturing of single use plastics and styrofoams. This includes but is not limited to: cutlery, water bottles, food wrappers, shopping bags, takeaway boxes, straws, fast food cups, etc. The nation will be collecting any stores of unused single-use plastics and styrofoams in order to recycle them and has mandated that all citizens and residents do the same with their own single-use plastics and styrofoams at home. Any business or individual found to be using any of the banned single-use plastics or styrofoams will be fined 250 Isteros upon their initial offense, 500 Isteros in conjunction to community service, and may face a 2,000 Istero fine with a month of jail time upon a third offense. Versienna is making this conscious shift away from using harmful products in order to help preserve the wildlife of the massive archipelago in light of massive amounts of pollution.

Privately owned and funded business operating out of Kuala Lumpur, Save the Seas, is beginning an initiative to reduce pollution along Eulumia's coasts and territorial waters. Save the Seas is operating in conjunction with Versienna in order to begin this massive endeavor, and has seen a massive volunteer base step up to the plate in order to help this initiative out, with several common themes among the words of those volunteering such as.

Volunteer 1: "This is OUR planet, this is OUR nation, this is OUR home. Why should we let ourselves live in filth?! We need to do something in order to change the way we're operating and save our planet or there will be no planet for future generations!"

Volunteer 2: "I am so happy that our government is backing up this initiative and is actually enforcing its laws. It's not all talk like previous governments were, they're out here with us working side by side to clean up our nation. I am proud to call Eulumia my home, molitva digernia!"

We understand that this event is naturally a solemn affair but it is our hope that it can also be seen as a celebration of the perseverance of the Romanov family and the incredible legacy that it represents, as you more than most others would appreciate.

With me will travel Aussenminister, Wisia Maciejewska, and joining us for the event in Vyborg will be Ambassador Wenzel Beckenbauer. Romanovan Ambassador Matvey Rokossovsky is, of course, invited to travel with the Danziger government to Romanovskaya for the occasion, if it suits his wishes.

The national government has also granted permission to Joachim von Olivsburg, CEO of Royal Danzig Group and proprietor of Oliva Palace, for the construction of a memorial in the Old District of Danzig City commemorating the five children of Tsar Nicholas II, whose fate was gruesome and unforgivable in the eyes all civil and moral people.
