In British Columbia today, the British Columbian Provincial Government made a big move towards granting the Cascadian capital city, Vancouver, more autonomy. The Vancouver Charter of Autonomy Amendments Act was introduced by BC First Minister Bethany Davidson herself as fulfillment of a campaign pledge made by her Cascadian Federalist Party during the last provincial election.
The bill seeks to grant the autonomous Vancouver Assembly greater power to amend its own Charter of Autonomy, including allowing for early dissolutions of the Assembly, direct elections for mayor, and increased budgetary control.
Vancouver First, a big tent pro-autonomy party in Vancouver, responded jubilantly to the news, with the party’s Assembly caucus leader Krista Melonie calling it “a great step forward for the people of Vancouver.”
Vancouver, as the federal capital, is granted special autonomy within the Province of British Columbia by the Cascadian Constitution, but the British Columbian Government is given significant leeway in dispensing this autonomy. If passed, the amendments bill will be the first alteration to the Vancouver Charter of Autonomy since it was initially passed in 1967.

Once the room was clear, they allowed everyone else to come in to clear and set up a headquarters in the lobby.

Capitol Building Dome nearing completion
After over a year of round the clock work, the dome of the Capitol Building is nearly rebuilt to it's former glory and place in the skyline of Washington D.C. A statement from the Capitol Architect reports that the dome will be ready in two to three weeks and the final topping out, the Statue of Freedom, will be ready to be installed a week after the dome is rebuilt. President Dawes, who is in Europe on official business, will be present to give a speech at the Capitol and that the speech is open to any nation to attend via their heads of state or if not possible, their respective ambassadors.

Al Waliyah News Euro correspondent: The Foreign Minister’s plane has just touched down here in the UK where Sheikh Thani bin Ahmed is to begin his six-day visit to the United Kingdom and then to the United States.
Due to the recent mass resignations within the government’s party, there is currently no Minister of the Crown for Diplomacy to meet the Foreign Minister on the tarmac, although unconfirmed reports we’ve received point to Minister for International Trade, Kaitlyn Maguire, possibly taking this role.

"Team Russoslava has been playing an extremely Physical game which has created room for its offense to score. Team Furstia has played a similar game against Team Infiny who could not catch a breath as they were practically run over every time they had the puck. So, after the games between Team USA and Team GreaterCascadia as well as the games between Team Orange-Bourgogne and Team Vashnal are finshed We'll see the two juggernaunts in Team Russoslava and Team Furstia face off on Russoslav Ice." John Carter adds.
"You also have to take into account that Team Russoslava and Team Furstia are at least going to have a few days to rest up as the other games are played every other day. Which means the winners of the other games may run out of energy before the Championship Series." Markov states.
"Yes, it could be worst for these if it gets pushed to a game 5. Those Teams need to prepare themselves for a rough road ahead if they're going to make it to the Championship Series and think about Team Russoslava and Team Furstia. Those 2 teams play a very chippy, and physical style, those players are going to be running on fumes by the time the Championship Series begins." Carter said, agreeing with Markov.
"Well, I predict that games between Team Russoslava and Team Furstia will go 5 games to decide and if I'm correct, that'll leave them at a major disadvantage playing in the Finals. I predict that Team Vashnal will make it to the finals and we'll see a the Championship Series be between Team Vashnal and Team Russoslava." Makrov said and Carter chuckles.
"I find that a little biased but I think I'm going to agree with you. I think Team Vashnal will win in 5 and the series between the US and greater Cascadia will go to a game 5 and Team USA will win but with a gassed US team I think Team Vashnal will win in 3. I believe Team Furstia, all through a good team, won't beat Team Russoslava, THe Russoslavs have a history of being a Hockey empire when it was part of the Soviet Union and Team Furstia isn't so my prediction for the Championship Series is going to be between the Slavic Juggernauts, Team Vashnal vs Team Russoslava for the world cup." Carter added.
