I see your quote and raise you another
“Don’t eat potato salad then swim, it never goes well... Unless you can swim with potato salad in your stomach, in which case good on you.”
"Hey google, remind me to pay shipping to zepther"
The Empress of Thaxanos welcomes the new nations to the NWP. She invites all newcomers to visit Thaxanos at least once in their lives and to read up on its' history. nation=thaxanos/detail=factbook
(Puppet nation of Thaxanos) The President of Althainia also welcomes the new nation but advises that they visit Althainia first to visit its' land and experience its' history. nation=althainia/detail=factbook
Free cars from Anticomius to all NWP nations!
The Wochik people don't really give anything away (despite how it may look thanks to the nation's highly effective private charities), but our island nation is tropically located, in the middle of a great, inland sea that makes weather extremes virtually unheard of, so our beaches are, in a word, pristine. The inland mountains are high enough and varied enough to offer both breathtaking hikes and challenging climbs (to say nothing of the hang gliding). Crime is low; the populace is friendly and multilingual; and seafood doesn't get any fresher.

Thumbing through reeeeeeeaaaaaaally old RMB posts and ran across this gem:
I had forgotten about our wonderflonium exports...
Damanucus, Zepther, Unified coloradan republic, and Confederation of continental nationalism
Post self-deleted by Wonderchicken.
Good lords, Wochik; really pulled that one from the deep, dark vaults.
Yes, I'm back, responding again...sort of. Taking care of a kid is hard work, as I'm sure all the parents in this region know. However, I can assure you some more Damanucus/ToT madness soon, I can assure you of that.
Yes, a little over 6 years, I believe.
You can say that again.
Well, I want to do some kind of RP over the summer. Would someone like to invade something, or perhaps explode an oil drum or two in the name of a terror group?
Zepther is always hunting down an organization known as the 'Chromatic Sharks' that frequently run black market, smuggling, and pirating. Each subgroup leader is called 'The [color] Shark' and despite Zepther's efforts catching at least 3 leaders over the course of the past decade, there are no doubt more spread across the NWP beyond Zepther's reach.
If you need an antagonist that isn't government affiliated, you can have the villain be a Chromatic Shark boss and expect Zepther to try to butt in to catch them.
Mikoyansk, Snakkra, and Confederation of continental nationalism
There could be something interesting to that...if we can get Aezakmi back into RP again
I've still got that score to settle with the Isle of Mann.

If anyone who hasn't voted in the regional election (such as it is) and intended to vote, you're down to the last hour and a half (or so). Given that no votes appear to have been cast for several days, I won't hold my breath, but part of me still hopes you give a damn about who's driving this flying umbrella.

“If people don't vote, everything stays the same. You can protest until the sky turns yellow or the moon turns blue, and it's not going to change anything if you don't vote.” -Dolores Huerta
“To make democracy work, we must be a nation of participants, not simply observers. One who does not vote has no right to complain.” - Louis L'Amour
“Elections belong to the people. It’s their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters.” - Abraham Lincoln
“We do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate.” - Thomas Jefferson
Voting is always important
My only concern, were I you, would be "Was I one of the nine, at least." More activity from the rest of the region's denizens does make it easier for the individual to join in. I am, admittedly, quite disappointed that not one of the seven seats were contested. However, I can only control my own participation. I can say that I voted, that I opined, and that I did toss my hat into the proverbial ring.
Despite our close relationship with Zepther due their abundance of sand, and it’s subsequent abundance of tablets, we must admonish our friends because their antagonism towards the Chromatic Sharks. We have met with their emissary and they are a population of refugees looking for a home land.
