Syria
Another Private Military Company has began operations in Syria against the two current PMCs warring in Syria, the company was identified as United Security, or USEC (yeah I'm going full Tarkov with this) The USEC private military company was established in 1999 after merger of two companies: KerniSEC and Safe Sea.

Known for having been involved in the downfall of the Norvinsk region for Russia, after confronting UN personnel coming to inspect Terragroup Labratories. The fighting in the area had ended in 2030, and USEC continued with contracts around the world.

Black Mountain Contractors which were involved in a skirmish with USEC operators reported that they seemed to be defending something in the area, which has led Israeli Intelligence to believe that Terragroup, USECs main employers, may be involved.

What is Terragroup?
The notorious TerraGroup international corporation is one of the many foreign companies responsible for the illegal activities and research within Norvinsk and one of the key players in the scandal that turned the prosperous frontier into a collapsed war zone. USEC is believed to act as a proxy private army, protecting the company from an investigation by any means necessary.

Thanks to what happened in Tarkov, investigators never found out what it was experimenting with in Norvinsk, after the fighting got bad, Terragroup left and was never able to be held officially responsible, and still runs activities.

Israeli Defense officials held a confrence discussing plans to deal with this, in which it was stated the the IDF would begin annual 15 mile incursions into Syria 2 months early, in June. troops home from the occupied zones would be put on border security on the Israel-Syria Border.

Political Awakening

Within The Unified American Federation, in the deep reaches of what was once Canada, suspicious and ambiguous posters have been spotted in an extensive amount of public spaces ranging from inside gyms to light fixtures on busy roads. These posters seem to not detail any specific organization. However, that which the posters have in common is to draw consideration to the idea of an independent Canadian State.

One poster depicts an American Park Ranger shaking hands with a retro-style Mountie from the old Royal Canadian Mounted Police with the caption above reading "They can have their dream, let us have ours!". Another displays a Minuteman from the American Revolution kneeling down upon the torn and tattered flag of the Union Jack to hand a young boy a torch captioned "They died for their freedom, Time to let you live yours".

Although no group has taken credit for the posting of these flyers, the question remains:

Hello everyone,
I thought it was perhaps time to make this official. As of now I am officially retiring from nationstates roleplay. Unfortunately I just can't bring myself to post anything anymore.
For about 9 years I've been on ns and in that time I've made great friends and some enemies. The memories and connections I've found here will be with me for a long time, especially those in the NWU.

I would like to thank you all for being with me on this journey, during the highs and lows, during the great times and bad times. We'll see if this lasts I suppose. Maybe somehow I'll rediscover my motivation on NS. Maybe I'll enjoy it again at some point.
