if u guys care 4 the environment do something about it... striking is doing nothing

Rainbowsix wrote:because no1 cares except for environmentalists... walking out and striking is doing nothing lmao

Even if striking will do nothing significant, it's a way to show governments and the world that the youth is capable of something and that the youth would bring change to the world, if the leaders would let them, instead of ignoring our demands.
And even if I'm an environmentalist, saying that no one cares except us is a big lie. If you were to get out and protest, you would see that people from various parts of the world, with different goals and ambitions, with different ages and different social classes, etc. They're just worried about the state of our planet

It's not that simple, you know. We can't just 'do something'. We need the help of the governments and companies to change and do things, but their arrogant goals of money and power blinds them from the truth.

government doesn't need shown anything... if you guys have a big effort into this... do something then... stop striking it will only cause havoc

Rainbowsix wrote:idk bout u but i love money

Money is worthless if I won't be able to use it when I'm an adult since the world is f**ked.

Shreminov wrote:Can you provide any proof that they do?

they made it harder to get guns after people said it needs to be tighter restrictions on it

Rainbowsix wrote:government doesn't need shown anything... if you guys have a big effort into this... do something then... stop striking it will only cause havoc

If peaceful marches causes havoc then idk what is a peaceful protest anymore.

Gun control is a very different problem compared to the environmental crisis.

Trust me, if they were violent, 99% of the protesters won't even go to the protests.
And the majority of strikes are voted by students and unions, so they're official.

Jesus, you and NNE should start an fragile ego alliance.

You could bond over the fact that your leaders are insecure sensitive crybabies!

why does antifa go to protests and all those LGBT people in the straight pride day parade? they go there to be violent... and if it's no official police have to break it up and they have to take the bullet for it

If Antifa showed up, they would get booed by the peaceful protesters and would just leave because they would be nothing in size compared to the strikers. And I never saw antifa showing up at any climate strikes since the climate crisis is not their main goal (they are against the fascists, not the climate crisis).
