Jesia shall remain unbanned if he doesn't violate anymore Constitutional rules. That's the point of a probation.

Oh wow, I didn't know the rules didn't apply to you if you weren't under probation.

Let’s try not to start another region breaking argument again. That’s what got us here. Well that and some videos.

Martyris

Yes, I didn't know it was the Governor's job to decide civil affairs and the Economic minister's job to enforce it. At this point, I manage foreign affairs.

I'm just trying to note that this "probation period" is fancy talk. There's seemingly no difference simply unbanning Jesia, if he breaks any more rules he'll get punished no matter if he's under probation or not.

I mean you discuss Civil Matters with the Governor but Economic Minister isn’t usually involved in Civil Matters

It's because you can't do your job right.

Either way, 9 votes were in total for unbanning Jesia. 3 votes were to keep him banned.

Everybody deserves 1 warning and 1 ban.
You are warned for your first circumstance, and your second? Banned.

My philosophy.

Yes I'm aware he's unbanned, I was trying to get an answer as to what probation period means.

All violations in the Constitution doesn't result in an instant ban-- take the time where Odinburgh and N.N.E. revoked Martyris' and my abilities on NationStates because of a disagreement. Odinburgh and N.N.E. didn't get banned, but rather a slap on the wrist.

If Jesia violated the Constitution during the probation period, then we bring up his previous ban and see that he didn't really try to change, which means the ruling will have to be made that Jesia stays banned.

Okay, thank you. That's at least something. That's common sense, though.

That's what I would like to think-- but I've seen how some people are in this region.

I gave Jesia a warning, he proceeded. He made two infractures. That is why he was banned. Also Scalesburg, you or Odin do not have the constitutional right to do my job. I have done my job competently, but as of now you are trying to undermine it. You are only clashing with me now because we conflict in our vote. You didn't say I was doing bad when I banned Jesia.

Yes, I am Rilandse.

And you gave Jesia the right to appeal that ban, which you didn't immediately do-- I had to step in and do it.

Non-citizens do not have the right to start votes, It was said he could ask for one, but that doesn't mean if he asked me I needed to. I wasn't for appealing Jesia's ban, so why would I start the vote? This isn't me doing my job bad or being inadequate, this is due to people not reading the diction within Jesia's ban.

Martyris wrote:How are you to determine what this is? As Civil Minister, it is my jurisdiction to settle OOC disputes such as this.

OK and I forward this suggestion to you. Up to you to decide what a probation period is.

We can up vote this among officers if need be but really up to civil affairs. Possibly you also as your the Com officer.

What does the Com officer have to do with this?

Good point. Actually nothing.

Martyris aka Rilandse is in jurisdiction to confirm what the probation rules are. Sorry for intruding. What I said on the period is revoked.

Greater jes new islands

Glad to be back hehe. Where do I start?

That doesn't exclude the fact that he should ignore Constitutional rules when it doesn't follow his personal feelings. Jesia was ruled unbanned, and shall be unbanned. He used his right to appeal the ban and it successfully worked.

This isn't how the Civil Affairs position should be run. You shouldn't have a personal agenda. It's disgusting that anyone thinks this is okay.

Perhaps our governor should weigh in.
