Permanent Mission of Gjorka to the TCN - Vote on Resolution 037
December 1, 2022
After much consideration, the Federation of Gjorka votes in favor of the resolution. Just a few days ago, the illegitimate Communist States of Ajakanistan government attacked Gjorka in a missile strike that killed hundreds of innocent civilians. Acting as any nation would we have declared war on Ajakanistan for this unjust and horrific attack. We are defending ourselves against an aggressor. However, unlike the illegitimate communist government we respect civilian life, and welcome TCN involvement. We are not invaders come to conquer land. We are liberators here to execute the will of the Ajaki people and defend ourselves against a pariah. The Free Council of Ajakanistan is the only government in Ajakanistan supported by the people, and we vehemently support it's recognition by the TCN. This resolution will be a positive step forward for the TCN and the world as a whole.

What is this war about in the first place
Porfirio Alexander Zínser y Muñoz, the Permanent Representative of Creeperopolis to the TCN, announced Creeperopolis' vote to the Security Council:
Creeperopolis will be voting AGAINST this resolution. Any such peacekeeping force is unprecedented in the history of the Terraconserva Council of Nations and will only serve to unnecessarily increase the casualty count of this ongoing conflict. Do the member governments of the TCN really want to throw their own soldiers to certain death in this quickly unfolding conflict in Ostlandet? Do the member governments of the TCN really want to help further the instability of Ajakanistan and help cause massacres and genocides in the country? Do the member governments of the TCN really want to help set back the military intervention of the Ostlandet Union in deposing the illegal Ajaki government? The world does not need an international resolution to recognize the legitimate Ajaki government. The countries of the world are capable enough of doing that themselves. Should any nation nonsensically send so-called "peacekeepers" to Ajakanistan, Creeperopolis will urge the nations involved in the ongoing military intervention to promptly arrest and deport these peacekeepers back to their country of origin for the sake of their safety and for the sake of preventing further war in Ajakanistan. The Terraconserva Council of Nations has absolutely no idea what it is doing.

Permanent Quebecshirite Mission to the Terraconserva Council of Nations
The Quebecshirite delegation to the TCN has long-prioritized pragmatism and non-interventionist principles. We will be casting our vote AGAINST the at-vote resolution, effectively vetoing it from passage. We have a number of problems with the text of the resolution, and the concept at large,
1. The resolution is exceedingly vague, setting no meaninful parameters for (a) rules of engagement (b) desired quantity of forces (c) desired monetary donations for infastructural recontruction.
2. The lack of coordination for the formation of the peacekeeping force in question, including the facilities from which it will be deployed.
3. A lack of addressing the question of a TCN peacekeeping force in general, something Quebecshire has been long opposed to, and the resolution does not specify the conditions to decommission the proposed peacekeeping force.
With these reasons in mind, we have cast our vote in opposition.

Admiral Knox, Brigadier Aubrey of the Paleocacherian 1st Marine Commandos, General O'Grady of the Paleocacherian Sparrow Airborne Division, and the admirals of the Gjorkan and New Gandoran fleets held a teleconference late that night.
"The situation in the city is dire, the Ajaki pro-government militias have tightened the siege on the embassy district. We have airdropped arms, freshwater, and medical supplies. The security detachments from the various embassies have united their defense around the central square and the Eleutherian, emptied Gjorkan, and an office of the Foreign Ministry. More Ajaki defectors are streaming into the area by the hour. Drone flights suggest we've got between 10 and 15,000 professional Ajaki troops in the city and about 10,000 pro-government militias along with 15,000 conscripts who are in the outskirts in parks undergoing emergency training, there are perhaps 6,000 scattered pro-democratic rebels and 40,000 anti-government demonstrators who have set up roadblocks and protest camps all around the downtown area.
We've spent the past two days bombing the hell out of any military concentrations we can find and I can safely say that we have air superiority over the capital except for whatever shoulder launched missiles they may have. We should be able to land troops unopposed by sea and take the docks rather quickly. After consulting with our Air Forces, we determined that paratrooper landings were too risky. I'm not going to risk losing heavy transports to tiny shoulder launched SAMs as they fly in low to drop troops and equipment or come in to land at the airport. So we have two main objectives and one secondary objective.
-Land troops in the parkland on the west coast of the island by landing craft and helicopter, capturing the ferry docks to use as a staging area to land heavy equipment and more troops, get across the island to relieve the siege of the embassy district, and capture the bridges leading on and off the island to prevent counterattack.
-Attempt to capture the airport with a helicopter assault. Secure the surrounding area to prevent short ranged missile attack, and enable reinforcement with heavy transport aircraft. Travel south from the airport to capture the government district and hopefully Ajaki People's Party military and civil leadership.
-Secondarily: Distribute propaganda to Ajaki conscripts and militias, demoralize them and get them to desert. Make contact with anti-government militias and protest groups, arm them and enlist them in the name of the Free Government. This will be Operation Red Crush, and will begin in three hours.
One in the morning, Zheleboksarsk, Ajakanistan
Two Paleocacherian battleships moved close enough to shore for their main batteries to target troop concentrations in the city harbor. While the shelling took place in preparation for an apparent attack, several miles to the north more than a dozen landing craft and hovercrafts slipped silently up to the island where the old Imperial Palace, the Ajaki Parliament building, and the embassy and other government districts were. On the west side of the island were ferry docks and large parklands with smooth, sandy beaches. Perfect for landing tracked APCs, tanks, and hundreds of troops. Within an hour, four thousand Marines were ashore without resistance. They quickly moved inland to set up a perimeter, as Ajaki police patrols reported to headquarters of the incursion.
By three am the Marines had been reinforced, there were 13,000 naval infantry from Gjorka, Paleocacher, and New Gandor and attack aircraft from the three nation's aircraft carriers were bombing Ajaki armored columns moving through the city streets to meet the newly landed enemy. Paleocacherian marines in APCs and armored cars began to engage the poorly armed pro-government militias blockading the embassy district from the west.

in the south, a Forward Operating Base was established, artillery batteries have begun to shell parts of the city which had concentrations of ajaki army units, and AA batteries which locked down the sky were bothdeployed, logistical lines established, and a radio network was connected, all of which would allow for a smoother battle management.
east to the city, soldiers were storming yet another bunker complex decimated by artillery prior, as a matter of fact, they already were done, and were rounding up prisoners.
"And for your crimes of communism, you all are hereby sentenced to death!" Shouted the Pavulturilori Commissar, as his soldiers took their rifles and executed to ajaki communist soldiers, they were the enemy, and dare not show them remorse.

while west to the city, an armoured colum made it's way to reinforce the ajaki troops in the city, unknown to them, 2 Pavulturilori Cruzadore III tanks were on ambush.

two loud explosions came a bit south to the colum, and two ajaki APC's were up in flames, the leading one and the rear one, locking the colum in place for precious seconds.

two more explosions, and two more APC's up in flames, now the colum was in complete chaos, some chose to flee, while others disembarked their troops.

and so that colum was eventually deleted.
meanwhile, in the city itself, there was chaos, the vast majority of the civilians worked in unison with the ajaki army and helped them to set up barricades, at the city's outskirts however, there were sniper duels between the ajakis and Pavulturilorians from outside the city with shrapnel artillery shells being delivered.

Commander, it seems that Fedritn is tougher than initially thought, it will take a few days to take control of it, but I assure you, an encirclement would help alot as I doubt that city can withstand a siege, for the time being no additional orders required.
