You’re going out on a romantic date with someone and you get to choose where you go. Where will you take your date?

I take them on a long romantic walk on the beach during the peak season of spring. Accompanied by a four man quartet singing the ballards of love while we stroll down a romantic boulevard of my choosing. Together we would romantically Toilet Paper Territorio di Nessuno house before we lovingly run for our lives. Oh how we will laugh! Laughing through the night as we avoid, Xagill because Xagill keeps stealing my dates with those looks! By dinner time we will make our way to olive garden because what is more romantic then garlic bread? well maybe a 3rd rate red lobster but never mind that. Afterwards we would retire to McMasterdonia castle crusading as we attempted and failed at a coup. Now with our lives on the guillotine, we would bring on the marriage, but not top it off with divorce!

But that's just the first date maybe the second one would go better who knows? I'm not a skilled player of love like the people I pinged.

Country of the day:
Cameroon 🇨🇲

Cameroon is located on the bend of the African Atlantic coast. The country has a relatively strong economy thanks to rich mineral resources and good conditions for agriculture. Yet over a third of the population is poor. Cameroon is plagued by a separatist uprising in the English-speaking territories and by violence by the Islamist extremist movement Boko Haram in the north.

Population: 26 545 864
Capital: Yaoundé
Leader: Paul Biya
Currency: Central African CFA franc

Personal note: I listened to a very interesting pod about Cameroon and their success in the 1990 World Cup that gave me a huge understanding of how this country works and what conflicts there are. A very interesting country with a lot of conflicts.

Early on without american supplies yes. Midwar without a second front the germans could have held off the soviets and imagine D-Day with only british troops sounds like gallipoli 2

Great angevin nation wrote:why ? Tell me before me, did you even know of Anjou and Angevine empire ?

Of course I knew what Anjou was, its a famous region in France (or what most of the world considers to be France). I'm also a history nerd and while the Angevin Empire isn't something I know a lot about, I knew it was a personal union between England and what is basically western France that last for around a decade.

Man, I wonder why people debate on whether or not a bygone political entity would win [insert war here] if only a few factors were changed? It's not like you can go back in time and change anything, nor is it really relevant nowadays.

It can be fun to talk about what ifs. Not like they're hurting anyone while doing it either.
