Itallitopia hearing upon this Law of War has immediately struck it as illegitimate, as Itallitopia believes they and others shall not be bound by a piece of paper they did not sign. If East Tighterrouraeih is to continue this non sense, the Itallitopian government will impose economic sanctions.

I did start the war, yes. I did start it with a surprise attack on civilians, yes. Killing civilians is wrong, of course. There is no legal IC “law of war” in Strangereal, yes. There are natural moral and ethical restrictions that some follow. Others do not. But that is what Tighterrouraeigh means. Those are the “laws of war”. You don’t have to follow them, and indeed I often break them. But it’s adviseable to follow them, to prevent arguments like this one.

If you two could take this to telegrams it would be much appreciated.
